Everything about this restaurant is great The staff makes you feel like you're among friends. The owners take pride in service and are often seen on the floor talking to their customers. The food is fantastic and that's why they have such a big following and thriving business.

We came all the way from California after seeing a TikTok video on the deep dish. The restaurant invited us to make reservations and here we are. When we walked in we were greeted by the kindest hostesses and the owner Chris immediately came to our table to welcome us. He was so kind and just a wonderful soul. We ordered the deep dish, an appetizer meatball and Chris complimented us with the BEST cheesecake ever. The food was AMAZING, the cheese the pull the SAUCE to DIE FOR! I highly recommend BARTOLINI. If I lived here I would be enjoying this restaurant weekly. Heavenly Father, continue to Bless Chris and his brother and this restaurant establishment. They are what is needed to help heal this broken world. May their business prosper and be a growing staple in their community. May they continue to be the light in this dark world. May you bless each family that enters this restaurant when they walk out they feel the love from each person that works there. I pray prosperity over BARTOLINI. In Jesus Name. Amen. Thank you so much. We will be back.

The best coleslaw I have ever had.

Not only are the meatballs..strawberry salad...soup..etc etc delish (def try the round guy app with the tomato basil sauce) BUT can we talk about the coleslaw!!!! Good god. The restaurant is amazing, staff is incredible, the seasonal Martin's are beyond fabulous and the food is delicious. Its a go to. But seriously...I took a pint of the slaw home.

Bartolini Restaurant is a true gem that offers an exceptional dining experience. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a memorable meal. The menu is a delightful blend of Italian and American cuisine, featuring standout dishes like their famous meatball sandwiches, deep-dish pizza, and homemade dessert. I enjoyed the gumbo! No pork and adding a dash of pepper I loved it! For most it's spicy enough! My fries were hot and salad had anchovies!!! They have a burgers with an outside patio area and one arm bandits in the back! So if you bring your kids watch them. They can get busy but I likeD it when I can have a private party all to myself in the afternoon. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring that every guest feels valued and cared for. Whether you're enjoying a casual lunch or celebrating a special occasion, Bartolini's delivers with impeccable service and mouthwatering flavors. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction shines through in every bite.

Nice big bar! I didn't see a pic of the bar on yelp so wanted everyone to know they had one.

Soooo I did an incredible review some time ago. But when the food is this good? WTH I'll tell you again... been eating here since 1998 and NEVER had a bad meal. They serve everything except steak and lobster. But seriously, whether you want a Polish, burger, pizza or fresh pasta and fresh salad... it's here and it's GOOD

We waited until March then looked for a venue to renew vows and have a celebratory meal with family and friends. As we both had been to Bella Mia several times together it was a short search. We originally planned the event with a former employee who left the restaurant as the date, (March 21st), was approaching. Randy the owner then took over. He made several suggestions different from what we'd originally planned, including changing the area of the renewal of vows and where our wedding officiate would be in front of the guests, but they turned out to be perfect!! The event was nothing short of fantastic! My wife had tears in her eyes much of the service! The food was spectacular, and everyone raved about it! Randy and his staff gave us a wedding to remember, and we are eternally grateful for what Bella Mia did for us and couldn't be happier that was the venue we chose!!!

We came in looking forward to dinner and unfortunately left disappointed…read more The positives first: my wife's espresso martini was excellent -- easily the highlight of the evening. Her Chicken Vesuvio was very good, and the Shrimp DeJonghe appetizer was enjoyable, especially with the bread. Unfortunately, everything declined once the entrées arrived. My porterhouse steak was placed on the table rather abruptly, and the cut looked more like a T-bone, with the filet portion nearly nonexistent. The quality of the meat was poor and extremely tough -- barely edible. I rarely ask for A1 sauce with a steak, but it was the only way I could get through it. The baked potato was dry, and while the side salad was fresh, it felt more like cafeteria-quality than something from a restaurant at this price point. Shortly after dropping off the entrées, the waitress quickly asked how the food was. I responded, "just okay," but she immediately walked away, not giving the impression that she was interested in hearing anything further. That set the tone for the rest of the service. What made the situation more disappointing was seeing the table next to us receive the same porterhouse. Their steak appeared nearly twice the size of mine, had a clearly defined filet portion, and they were able to cut into it effortlessly. The inconsistency was very noticeable. After that, service was largely absent. We waited about 20 minutes trying to locate our waitress Dee with no success. The owner did stop by and was very friendly when we asked for A1 sauce, but overall the service remained slow. It took roughly 30 minutes to get a water refill and another 30 minutes to receive our check. The explanation given was that she had been in the back handling a difficult order. For the price and expectations that come with ordering a porterhouse, this experience did not meet the standard. While there were a few bright spots, the inconsistency in food quality and service makes this a 2-star experience at best.

We both love the pizza, and in fact, it's so good that we've hardly ever tried anything else. When we did stray off the pizza selection, the food has all been delicious. Contrary to popular belief, "Chicago Style" pan pizza isn't typically eaten every day by folks that live here. Everyone would be 1,000 pounds. The wife and I go to Louisa's probably 6-10 times a year because it's incredibly filling, but it NEVER disappoints. The service is always fantastic. I'm 99% sure the same family has owned it (Louisa's family - God rest her soul), so the whole "family vibe" is on full tilt at this place and it shows in their service. Servers who care about your business because the business itself is more than just a part time job. The restaurant is quaint, and is perfectly suited for either a date night or a full-on family function. Their side room is plant big enough to host a private party or event, and I know they often book that room for exactly that. But the real focus for us is the pizza. The pans that are used over and over again. The buttery crust that is always crispy and not too think. The ripe tomatoes that are always seasoned perfectly... the real of the show at Louisa's is their sausage. It's literally like none other we've ever had and we love it!! This place is a must try for locals that love pan pizza!

Not good. Not good. Not good. Regrettably ordered two "made to order" sandwiches from their deli…read morecounter. Both sucked BIG TIME. First sandwich was a custom sub sandwich of turkey, Genoa salami, and rosemary ham with cheese, tomatoes, vinegar/oil, and Italian spices. How a sandwich could taste funny is beyond me, but it did. The meat tasted old and was flavorless. It was pre-cut, not freshly cut meat, so who knows how long it had been sitting out in the counter. The bread was stale, could have broke windows with it. They barely put any meat on it (not that I would have wanted more), the sandwich was all bread. No Italian herbs on sandwich. And the icing on the cake, instead of putting a nice, fresh vinegar and oil/sub oil on the sandwich, I was given a two ounce little package of some generic vinegar and oil that was pre-fabricated by some wholesale company, which also tasted really off. The second regrettable purchase was an Italian sausage sandwich. That too was horrendous. The sausage itself had a funny, off taste, not a nice blend of seasonings. And not that I would have wanted more, but the Italian sausage was old and shriveled, so it was like a child-size portion. I asked for some red sauce on the side, let's just say Ragu would have been better, and that's not saying much. To add further insult to injury, the bun was stale. Also got some Nutella butter cookies that they farm in from D'Amatos that is in the city. I have been in D'Amatos and I love their cookies. With that said, these D'Amato cookies were stale/also tasted off. The tip-off should have been the fact that they must have had fifty or more packaged D'Amatos cookies on their shelf. They are bumping $10.00 for around maybe 12 cookies, so they obviously don't sell all that quickly, turn stale, and there you have it. Also weird vibe in there. The employees (including the Rubino son who is always in the deli area) are not friendly at all. I might be a little bit more forgiving if the employees/owner were nice but they are just really indifferent and very unfriendly (especially the owner). Very unfortunate. Sandwiches from Subway would have been better.

The beef they had was probably my favorite and I am not usually a beef person. I wish I'd gotten a bit more of it! The mashed potatoes are always a favorite of mine too. The private room was comfortable; it didn't feel overly crowded or anything, even though there were at least eight tables for dining and then a few others for food and gifts and whatnot. The one thing that was a little weird was that there were a couple bathrooms in the front of the room, which seemed like an odd and somewhat conspicuous place to put them. There was a bathroom out in the main restaurant, too, and also a family bathroom which I appreciated. That's where the changing table is located. Parking seems minimal--unless I missed some, it didn't actually seem like enough for the size of the restaurant. But they do have a private lot.

Along the left wall are some two tops and to the right are some four tops. So, you can come here in a group, or on your own. The food: I asked for a tester of the strawberry cheesecake gelato. This was good. A little bit icey, but good flavor. My partner ordered a scoop of the chocolate chip in a cone and enjoyed it. I thought his was a little icey as well, but again had good flavor. There was a picture of a bagel with avocado and tomato on google maps, that I wanted to try. I asked what it was bc I didn't see it on the menu and they said it was the avocado toast. They offered to put it on a bagel, and I asked if cream cheese could be added. This bagel is fantastic. It's so fresh. And you can see how perfect the avocado was; it was perfectly ripe. They also added some olive oil and her , but they left off the feta and tomato. I think those two toppings would have made this epic. Nonetheless, it was yummy. The drinks: I ordered a chai tea latte because they said they made their chai syrup in house. When I tasted it, I realized they made it in water first, rather than in milk, and it wasn't spicy like a traditional chai. I could taste cinnamon, but I didn't taste cloves, cardamom, black pepper, anise, ginger, etc. This was okay. Next time I might try one of their tea bags because they have a large selection. My partner ordered a mocha. He said it was good. Parking: They have a shared lot out front and we were able to find a space without issue. Overall impression: I intend to come back to try more of their food items and other teas. The people who work here are wonderful and the location is great.
