He never tried to sell us on anything but he was always available when we had product questions and was quick to share his expert knowledge and advice. Whenever we approached him during our showroom visit, he was super responsive and always got us the answers we needed. Before Ferguson's, we stopped by a more conveniently located appliance store and had a pretty crap experience. The salesperson we approached was too busy surfing the internet at his desk to even get up and help us. He half-answered a couple of questions from his chair before we decided to leave. It wasn't the kind of service I was looking for when I'm trying to spend some $$. (Okay...rant over.) Back to Raj--he made what could have been a pretty stressful and expensive process feel easy like a Sunday morning. He took great care of us every step of the way and we ended up purchasing our entire kitchen appliance package from him: wall ovens, range hood, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Nothing is cheap here, literally or figuratively. Everything is super well-made, but very pricey. My kid saw a pizza platter here for $20 that she purchased the day before at HomeGoods for $4.99. The exact same item. That said, this place carries a lot of brands and items that you cannot find elsewhere, and the staff are extremely knowledgeable about their product lines. I liked their selection of retro wall clocks in a rainbow of colors, each for about $50 (I thought that was reasonable). Also, note that their sale prices on items are excellent deals. Lenny was very helpful, and the only one able to get me an appt for a diagnostic the next day. Michael came out and was awesome! I explained that I turned on a burner, heard a pop and stove died. I had turned off the outlet at the breaker and when Michael flipped it back on the stove came to life. So embarrassing.. still he checked all connections and wiring plus the temperature regulator to make sure everything was in working order. It all checked out and assured me that nothing was going to blow up on me which made me happy since I host Christmas and had Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas day meals to make. No more issues so far. Cost for tech to come out was $130 , if repairs needed,that is used toward repair cost. Definitely will use them again if needed and refer them to friends. You should think about: how will the store respond when you have a problem. I'm a self-confessed pain in the neck type of customer because I'm very indecisive and picky. I also had some snafus (all my fault--like ordering the wrong size hood and changing my mind about the custom oven I bought). Throughout all of this, Smiley was unfailingly kind and professional. He provided honest advice on the products and when things went sideways for me, he went out of his way to fix the problem and make sure I was happy and satisfied.
