Ordered a Huevos Rancheros skillet, added turkey sausage and added a bagel and cream cheese, no substitutes at all. Everything is an add-on. Also ordered a Greek salad with feta on the side, they would not allow me to get a turkey Reuben, because it's not on the menu as such, even though they offer a turkey avocado melt. $49.29 Guess I will only be eating a salad for lunch today then. We will have to go elsewhere then. They only allow you to order off the menu on the weekends as is, seems rather rigid. This is a first to be told that a place doesn't want my money for a turkey Rueben when the beef version is on the menu and they have turkey sandwiches as well. Odd that my hubby's plain black coffee comes in a styrofoam cup, my green tea is in the usual expected ceramic mug. My husband will wait for a ceramic cup. The extremely rude waitress brought out a ceramic mug, after I asked for a ceramic mug. She made us feel most unwelcome during our entire visit. The staff member that brought us our food and brought me the Greek dressing were much more pleasant and warm. They do charge you for using a credit card here, around 4%, of course they do. Seems kind of high for a CC charge. Huevos isn't bad. They only gave us three flour tortillas. My husband wanted one more, but this place is so cheap, so we figured they would charge us for that, since they don't allow for any substitutes of ingredients or charging just an up charge instead of charging for full price item sides. Got the Greek salad, but no dressing at all. Am I supposed to eat this thing dry? I had to ask another waitress for some dressing 7 minutes later, since our waitress had no clue she hadn't brought any dressing at all. The red onions look so old and are thick cut rings, tossed them on the side. The tomatoes aren't ripe. Salad core in the salad. At least they use Romaine, spinach and greens. Salad is not special, dressing tastes like ranch with some beet juice added to it. Green tea is meh, coffee too. I believe our waitress needs some retraining on her job, she's not so good at it. Our waitress never checked on us once after the order and bringing our coffee and tea. She couldn't be bothered it seems. Not a good experience today at all, made worse by our main waitress. Odd her name is Tootsie, would have thought she would be a tad nicer though. Huevos was decent. Greek is worth a pass. Try to get anyone else but Tootsie, unless you like being treated indifferently and invisible.

I really enjoyed my breakfast here. The customer service was very top notch in what looked like an 'in town' industrial area. I later found out the area serves two purposes...1. a huge farmers market on Saturdays and 2. a big safe area for tailgaters for the sports teams. The servers and cooks were A1. It was quiet, but I'm sure on other days it probably gets a little loud. Overall, this reminded me of the 'greasy spoon' restaurants along the highways that have really good food. Except in this case the food was good and no greasy spoons anywhere, lol. I would definitely come back here for breakfast or even lunch (menu look yummy) if ever back in Detroit. Oh, I had a delicious and well seasoned turkey burger and crispy fries.

A classic spot! Got us in quickly despite there being a wait, food came out fast, and check was prompt. Club sandwich was messy but good. Overall good stop for a quick bite and friendly service!

They were open on 4th of July! Food did take a little to come out but there was only one waitress working the grounds and one server. Plenty of parking outside. They have soo many beautiful big flower pots in the front! I like their paintings inside as well. We ordered the Corn Hash and Nutella Crepe with a side of fries. All were delicious!! The fries were no ordinary fries because they made them extra crispy!! Our server was friendly. We would return!

Amazing per usual. I got the chicken pita and it was so good!!! It had so much flavor and was freshly made. It was crowded as usual, but I got carry out. I'd definitely return.

Stopped here for breakfast today around 1030am, was pretty busy but got a table quickly. We ordered two breakfasts, one classic and one the farmer franks big breakfast. Our food took about 35 mins to come out which was surprising since it was just breakfast. I ordered my eggs over medium. They were well done, the yolks were cooked through completely. I asked for the potatoes to be well done and they seemed like they barely hit the grill. Seems like for a breakfast place they would be able to cook eggs to the right likeness. The toast was good and the sausage was also good, but it's deep fried which I haven't really seen before. Overall probably wouldn't come here again, can get a quicker and better breakfast from a local coney.

Loved this place! Favorite breakfast spot if you're by the Eastern Market. May have a wait time but it's worth it. Would come again!

Service was amazing. Food was prepared in what felt like minutes. I have absolutely no complaints about this place. It's always worth a visit when you're in the Eastern Market area.

When I walked in here I was kind of put of by price at first, but when the food arrived, it was worth it!! Highly recommend. I'll pay extra for quality.

Bustling diner in Detroit's Eastern Market. Delicious breakfast, friendly service. Waits can be long during peak times. Staff is friendly. Menu is huge with something for everyone.

All the food we did not eat!

We did not like the food not even the coffee. Would have done better and better taste from McDonald's and saved money. First time and last time. Place smelled like dirty mop water and the cheese in my omelette had a sour taste. Hungry jack boxed pancakes from home would be better. Coffee tastes just like water not even sugar and fake cream would make it better. I don't know how this place received 4 stars. I guess you would have to like hospital food. Maybe the ambiance which is nice the only good thing. And the lady waitress sucked must be new but not a good waitress. I could say more but we literally just gave away 50 bucks!

The theme was "Yes, Chef: An exploration of culinary icons through a cocktail lens." Each drink was inspired by or dedicated to a famous culinary icon, and you can read about each one in the index. We each ordered one drink from each section. From the Opening, I chose the Diaspora Club, which was so refreshing and delicious. Then from the Principals, I chose the Chingona, which was a little bit spicy and savory but still so refreshing. To Finish, I chose the Chocolatier Cosmo, which came with a tiny house-made salted dark chocolate. I loved all three cocktails I ordered, especially the chocolatier cosmo because it was perfectly sweet and went so well with the small piece of chocolate. For food, we started off with the crispy pork belly milk bread. For my entree, I ordered the miso butter gnocchi. It was kind of on the salty side but I still really liked it. The apple sofrito added a bit of sweetness to it. For dessert, we had to get the rhubarb coffee cake, which came with strawberry ice cream. Omg one of the best desserts I've ever had!! I never thought of combining cinnamon coffee cake with rhubarb or strawberry but it's perfect, and I might have to make something like that soon. Service was great and we were seated right away at 8pm on a Saturday despite not having a reservation. Food and drinks came out promptly and timed perfectly. We spent about 1.5 hours here and we never felt rushed.

I wore a button up shirt and Oxford shoes with my jeans, and I felt overdressed. But really, what matters most is the food. Our server recommended the calamari as an appetizer, and it was incredible. Not a single bite of it was the least bit chewy. The fried exterior did not make it feel heavy at all. And, when I say that not a single bite was chewy, I know that because we finished every bit of it. My burger was a half pound of ground prime rib. This might be the best hamburger I've ever had in my life, and I have eaten a lot of excellent burgers. It was so good that my wife kept taking bites of it. This seemed fair, because I kept taking bites of her salmon. I was skeptical about the breading on the salmon, but this is a bit of a masterpiece. The Panko breadcrumbs are light, and the rice vinegar seasoning works beautifully with it. The edamame and other shredded vegetables were mostly for decoration. But, the rice was equally amazing. The service was friendly and efficient at the same time. I'm reminded again of how it's been too long since we were last here. It definitely won't be that long until our next visit.

Service was friendly, but slow. We decided to just get a few appetizers, as all of the entree options sounded too heavy for a hot summer night. They were all really tasty and the meatballs make a meal themselves. Loved the "gold coast" cocktail. I think this would be a repeat drinks and apps only stop in the future.

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance transported me to a beautiful Mediterranean garden, with its gorgeous tiled floors, lush greenery, and warm, inviting atmosphere. It felt like a refreshing escape right in the middle of Detroit's historic cobblestone streets. It was the perfect setting for a long-overdue reunion with my sorority sisters, and Supergeil was incredibly accommodating, hosting our group of 14 women in the middle of Grand Prix weekend without missing a beat. We kicked off the evening with a few appetizers to share, including the hummus, deviled eggs, and meatballs. Everything arrived quickly and was an instant hit around the table. The standout was definitely the hummus, served with fresh, homemade pita that was unbelievably soft, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The meatballs were also delicious, perfectly tender, juicy, and well seasoned. For my entrée, I ordered the popular lamb and beef döner, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The portion was generous and beautifully presented, overflowing with crisp vegetables, fresh lettuce, garlic sauce, hot sauce, and the most tender, savory lamb and beef. Around the table, others enjoyed the Turkish ravioli with spiced beef and pork, more döner, and a variety of salads. Everyone loved their meals, and we couldn't resist passing plates around to sample a little of everything. It's the kind of restaurant that's perfect for sharing and enjoying with a large group. And what would a girls' night be without cocktails? If you're a fan of Two James spirits like I am, you're in for a treat. The bartenders create incredibly inventive cocktails from a seasonally rotating menu. I stepped outside my comfort zone and ordered the Open Kettle, made with coffee infused Doctor Bird Rum, cola reduction, coconut cream, and Underberg. It was unlike anything I've ever had! It was rich, tropical, complex, and with just the right kick. It's an absolute must try. Another crowd favorite was the Purple Gang, featuring lavender vodka, lemon, and butterfly pea tea, which gave it the most stunning purple hue. To finish the night, we ordered all three desserts to share: the burnt sugar tres leches, strawberries and cream, and the hot brownie with cinnamon ice cream. My favorite was easily the tres leches. It was light, creamy, and perfectly balanced with the crunch of burnt caramel and the subtle sweetness of coconut, it was a creative twist on a classic dessert. The warm brownie with cinnamon ice cream was pure comfort and a chocolate lover's dream, while the strawberries and cream offered a lighter finish with sesame brittle and hibiscus, creating a unique combination that reminded me of an elevated granola paired with a glazed donut cream. From the beautiful atmosphere and attentive service to the creative cocktails and delicious food, Supergeil delivered an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're planning date night, catching up with friends, or celebrating with a large group, it's definitely a spot worth adding to your Detroit restaurant list.
