The gentleman that owns the store is always so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I'm always surprised that he remembers me because sometimes it's 6 months between visits, but I have bought a lot of Blazer jackets, t-shirts and sweatshirts from this store over the years. Plus, we always engage in conversation about the recent game, our favorite players and our love for the Blazers. But it also could have been because the shoes I had wearing, were no longer serving their purpose. At the end of it, I did end up liking one shoe, but it was the color way that threw me off. I left and sat in my car, thought about oh I can get this online by tomorrow for $10 more, but I thought about how much the salesman(Michael) helped me and didn't make me feel obligated to buy anything, which I really loved. Which was the reason I came back inside the store to purchase the shoes . 10/10 would recommend. On one visit, I arrived just a few minutes past the posted consignment drop-off time--with a large bag of items--and was turned away without any flexibility. As a mom juggling kids and schedules, that kind of all-or-nothing response felt unnecessarily inflexible and not very aligned with the realities of the customers they serve. There was also a separate incident involving an item that was handled in a way that felt lacking in communication and follow-through, which added to the overall frustration. I paid this shop to perform a standard tubeless sealant service. When I took my bike out for a…read moreride, the wheel felt completely off-balance and heavy, even though they assured me the job was done. Suspecting an issue, I removed the tire myself, and what I found was shocking (see attached photo). Instead of properly removing the tire, cleaning out the old, hardened, massive latex ball (a 'sealant monster'), and then adding fresh liquid, they apparently just injected new sealant right over the top of this hardened clump. A basic part of tubeless service is cleaning the tire. By failing to do so, they wasted my money, made my bike unsafe to ride (due to the severe imbalance), and completely missed a standard maintenance step. When you pay a professional shop, you expect professional service, not a lazy shortcut that leaves a huge, hardened glob inside your tire. I would strongly caution others about getting basic maintenance done here if this is the standard of work they allow out of their service bay.
