    Onion Rings - small
    Liz R.

This establishment is in the same complex as my nail salon and I decided to grab lunch before my appointment since it was long overdue that I give them a try. The space itself is adorable and there's literally automated ordering, cashless payments and you're buzzed when your order is ready. Ordering, payment and delivery of my order was 100% seamless and the owner even let me know that the wings take 12 minutes to cook so that I was aware of how long my wait would be and also so that I knew they were made fresh to order. I read reviews about the onion rings being "burnt" and other not so great comments about them, however, these onion rings are exactly the way onion rings should be made and took me back to my NJ Diner days!!! Plus that onion ring sauce that comes along with them is SLAMMING!!!! The wings were piping hot and were battered and fried perfectly. The batter itself fries up nice and crispy and the wings were pretty tasty ... but that homemade BBQ SAUCE is what took them over the edge!!!! I think I could literally dip everything in that sauce ... and I'm a ranch dressing dipper I'm general which is why I ordered ranch on the side, however, although homemade, it tasted more like mayo than ranch. But the wings were solid and you get a nice amount bc I took over half home with me. I will definitely be back because I just have to taste a burger and a chicken sandwich (bc I mean it's a burger joint plus I saw other folks w burgers and they look scrumptious) and the experience was a great one overall. Nice addition to the neighborhood!

Great burger joint. Not going to be too wordy in this one. This is a great option for a tasty burger. Not the cheapest but the quality of food is very good.

Halal chicken chipotle burger with haram pork bacon..

Basic Burger near Walmart in Vienna is not really Halal despite the big Halal sign. Today I went there and ordered three Chipotle Club burgers and one grilled chicken burger with milk shake. Here Chipotle bugers have chicken with bacon In them. I ordered thinking that this place has a prominent Halal sign at the door so the bacon must be Turkey bacon or Beef bacon. A place that sells halal food cannot have pork touching the halal meat whether it's chicken, beef, lamb or turkey. When pork touches any halal food it becomes non halal because eating pork is forbidden for Muslims. For transparency purpose they must write on the menu that the bacon is not halal or it's of pork. In order to truly be halal and for the sake of respecting your many Muslim customers please be more transparent. I am not saying this is intentional deception but it certainly is poor management and advertising, and in harming a portion of your consumer base it is unethical.

Quick review on there shakes only. I was tempted to order the limited time Peach Milkshake, but ultimately went with their highly recommended Cookies & Cream Shake. I added chocolate sauce for an upcharge to tone down the creaminess and that made it perfect for me. I don't normally like Cookies and Cream over other flavors, but Basic Burger"s changed my mind. Their shakes are thick (without asking them to time down the milk), rich and flavorful. I think they will remain thick for longer than many as well, because mine still had the thickness that a milkshake should have after a 20min drive. Give them a try!

What an impressive burger. It's one of the biggest cravings I ever get so I when I saw this location I beelined over to try it out. They have 3 self-serve kiosks with an easy ordering system (keep scrolling over to see all the options, especially for free toppings). Went with a double cheeseburger, added jalapeños and pickles. Upgraded the fries to sweet potato fries. And opted to take the charge for an onion ring topper. Take your buzzer to a table and watch the kitchen snap into action. This was during the lunch rush and food was moving fast. My order didn't take long at all, despite the full house. My burger was a towering beast, in the best possible way. The patties are juicy and the toppings do not overwhelm the meat and cheese. I left full and happy. The sweet potato fries had a nice crunch and they get served with a sauce but I opted for the basic sauce you grab next to the drink station. First visit was all positives for me. I am definitely coming back.

Despite the "basic" in the title, the menu at this burger joint is reasonably extensive, and the food is good. Our burgers (cheeseburgers, and a Beyond burger) were high quality, the fries were well-seasoned (but not ideal for takeout, as their consistency wasn't so great as they cooled), and the Bistro salad was yummy. However, the standout dish was the pickle fries, which were delicious and perfectly done (and oddly enough, not too salty).

Wanted to try a new burger outside of my usual go to spots and found myself at Basic Burger. Pros: - burger size wasn't small....but wasn't large. - the food tasted good. Cons: - add ons we're pricey. - burger patty wasn't flavorful. - fries with the house seasoning seemed to taste just like old bay. Thought the seasoning was going to be something else. -chicken in the sandwich seemed small in size. Overall: I think I'd give this place a 3.5 review but will round up to 4. The food was good....nothing great. The place kind of reminded me of a shake shack and if I had to choose between the two I'd go to shake shack. Don't get me wrong this place isn't bad it just wasn't memorable.

What's left of the moo fries. Delicious!

This was our second time coming to basic burger and, let me tell you, it was just as delicious as it was the first time. The place is clean and easy to order from. This time we had two signature dogs, pickle chips, and loaded moo fries (no egg). Absolutely delicious! We actually came back the second time because I was craving the pickle chips. We aren't sure if he's the manager or owner (or both) but there has been a man that was there both times we have been. Lovely man. We had only bought one drink as I have clear retainers and can only drink water with them in. He noticed and told us to get another drink on him and then proceeded to tell us his favorite way of making the orange creamsicle soda with their artisanal sodas. He also gave us all the sauces we could ever ask for which is a 10/10 in my books. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place.

I came back to try new items off the menu, this time I brought my wife along. She got the wings and I got the chicken sandwich. We shared our dishes so we could both try out each other's dish and we are both very happy. And like I said in my first review, the burgers are amazing! This will become a regular spot for us.

A mom and pop shop type of feel and is just solid. Somewhere that's a bit more satisfying than any other burger location that I've had. For years ever since I left Knoxville, I have been trying to find a solid burger and I think I found a place that I can see myself going to over and over. We came to know about Social Burger through our friends. We had take out the first time, but our second time we went to the restaurant ourselves and we were not disappointed. The portions are good and I would say the portions are always bigger when it comes to when you eat at the restaurant compared to when you're doing takeout. I've gotten the Social Burger (Signature) both times and it was great. My next visit I'll try something different, but right now the signature is my go to. I would definitely see myself coming back to Social Burger if I have a burger craving.

We started with the scallops and then had the gnocchi and pesto pasta. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you could really tell that it was house-made. As soon as we entered, General Manager Sam welcomed us like old friends. After we were seated, my wife asked if he had previously worked at The Dabney, and sure enough, that's where we recognized him from. It was great catching up as he shared what he'd been doing since then and how his dream had always been to open his own restaurant. Seeing that dream come to life made the evening feel even more special. The restaurant was busy (definitely make reservations), but we were able to enjoy cocktails while we waited for our table. My Grey Goose martini with bleu cheese olives was phenomenal and set the tone for the rest of the meal. We started with the Bison Tartare and the Ceviche. The bison tartare was leaner than traditional beef tartare, and the crispy chips added the perfect savory crunch. The ceviche was incredibly fresh and bright. For our entrées, I had the ribeye while my wife ordered the Dory. The ribeye was cooked perfectly--juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. My wife couldn't stop talking about how buttery and delicious the fish was. To finish the evening, we ordered the 100-Year Port Flight featuring 10-, 20-, 30-, and 40-year ports. Vertical tastings are such a fun way to experience how a wine evolves over time. The 40-year was absolutely outstanding, and the 20-year was another favorite. The 10-year was enjoyable but still showed its youthful character compared to the older vintages. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and relaxed. The main dining room can feel a little tight when the restaurant is full, while the bar area has a few TVs for anyone wanting to catch a game. One thoughtful touch that stood out was the women's restroom being stocked with amenities like hair ties and hair clips. We noticed they also offer a tasting menu, and after this experience, that's already on our list for our next visit. Between the outstanding hospitality, exceptional food, excellent cocktails, and welcoming atmosphere, Evelyn Rose absolutely earned five stars.

My friend got the filet mignon which she enjoyed. Brian was an excellent server, making sure we had everything we need, handled several requests with promptness and professionalism, and had our bread pudding dessert decorated with "Happy Birthday" for my friend. First time: I had the lobster roll which came heaped with lobster chunks. I had to eat the lobster for a while before I could pick it up or risk the lobster falling out - so nice not to be hungry after getting a lobster roll! It came with a generous serving shoestring fries - really good and grilled corn on the cob. We had Aracely and Delilaha, two friendly and wonderful waitstaff, one of whom was being trained and the other had been there for years. My friend told them that it was my birthday, and they came out later with a scoop of vanilla ice cream with happy birthday written in chocolate and a candle in whipped cream. I was also impressed how even a straw wrapper sitting on the table was scooped up by someone coming by. The tall ceilings gave the restaurant an open, airy atmosphere. For my entrée, I had the Short Smoked Salmon Filet, and it was cooked to a perfect medium. The Creole mustard sauce added great flavor, and the mash was creamy. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the asparagus. I wish there had been an option to sub it for another side. The restaurant is spacious, with plenty of parking both out front and in the side garage. Our server was attentive and kept the Ozzies coming!
