Just came here to post a review and wow, really sad for me to see the extreme negativity here. I guess that is par for the course now. Anyway, I do not know Randy per se, but he came to repair my stove via GE monogram and did a fantastic job, no charge. Later on I asked him to come back and fix up my gas fireplaces, clean them up and get the blowers working. Randy was absolutely meticulous through and through. These fireplaces look and function as if they are brand new. I can only speak to my experience, but Randy was 100% professional and I do not even want to tell you how much the work cost because it literally was so modest I feel embarrassed. I have nothing but positive things to say about Basin Appliance repair and I will definitely be using them for all appliance services in the future. I had an appointment made with randy through my sears warranty. I left work early to make sure to be home to meet him. He never showed. I called the number Sears gave me. It went straight to voice mail. zero communication from randy. He will say I was never actually customer but you can't be a customer if he never shows up to the appointment. I have been out of a dryer for 2 weeks because of this guy. I can't make a new appointment because he won't respond to Sears and cancel the appointment I had with him.Yup read more

I haven't needed a repair person outside of our new appliance warranties in awhile. Well our dryer died and my husband called Randy @ Basin Appliance out of Middleton. We couldn't be happier. He ordered the part, brought it as soon as he could and got it installed in short order. Everything is back to working. Soooo happy. He also came in under estimated cost. We will definitely use Randy Bailey again. Hopefully we won't need to but if we do, that's going to be our go to guy! read more

Terrible service! Waiting for 6 hrs for GE Appliance repair and called 3 X but no callback to Randy Cell number provided by GE . I will never turn your company for repairs , you can't call customers back. Comments untrue from Randy , they fixed my GE Dishwasher in my Tresido home and then replaced it after third call out . GE dispatched them for microwave repair is what this comment is for . Not a troll , just calling poor business practices . Basin was scheduled for repairs from my Frigidaire microwave. He has cancelled twice without notice forcing us to wait all day 12-6 for a no show. After 2 no shows Frigidaire set us up with another company. Obviously this company doesn't appreciate good customer service. read more

This business is horrible!! Randy is bad about returning calls and doesn't have that great of a personality. He was sent out here by my home warranty company, so I didn't have a choice until recently. He was supposed to replace my ice maker, but didn't do so because he felt that the only issue was a piece of foam that was making the water splash out and therefore allowing it to drip out while dispensing ice. Please do yourself a favor and avoid having him repair any appliance that you own. I will not be using him again! read more

When your appliance is under warranty and they try to send Basin Appliance Repair, request someone else! Like for many other reviewers/customers, Randy provides great service initially. However, he did not respond to requests for updates by myself or LG after 2 weeks went by. When I did get him on the phone, he could not provide an order number for the part that was supposed to be coming. So LG was unable to track it. (He suggested I order it myself but without updated diagnosis notes or a part order number from the technician, LG won't just send parts. He never even updated the notes after his visit!) Because he never responded to LG, they finally reassigned my washer to a certified LG technician (which Randy is not) Do your homework and read the reviews which are all similar (as well as owner response with LOTS of excuses.) Save time and energy and insist another company is used to remedy your repair issues. read more

Came out to repair our dryer. First of all, he was4hours late and never called. After he got there, He said he would order the part needed to repair it and it would be in stock in 2 days. Waited a week,called him several times for updates. Never called back. This guy is a flake. Use someone else. read more

Update: Randy did the same thing to me as to the other reviewers. He left a bad review about my real estate business and he's never been a client! I to am calling Yelp and the BBB first thing tomorrow! It's slander!!! Called Randy and had him come out to look at a freezer. He tested the freezer and said it was a faulty part, (can't remember part name) and replaced it. Two days later freezer stopped working. I phoned Randy and told him what happened, he said he would refund the money for the part but not for the labor. I told him his website stayed 1 year guarantee in all parts and labor! He refused and said it was only for parts! He asked me if I wanted to give the freezer to him and he would fix it and donate it himself. I have phoned him at least six times and sent him an email and he has not responded to any and I have not received my refund! This happened in April 12, 2016! I have complained to the Better Business Bureau and also have filed with my credit card company. Stay away from this business! *********CAUTION********* read more

I just wanted to send a message to thank you! I placed a call into our home warranty company because our double ovens were not working properly. Randy Bailey came out to our home to help us with the issue. He was honest and so very helpful! I asked him many questions about the repair process and he recommended replacing the oven. After much discussion and back and forth with the warranty company they finally replaced our ovens. I felt like I was very informed due to Randy's honest communication with me. dont let lowes schedule with these guys what lowes service says is not what comapny does when scheduled. i work midnights and work up to ensure i was here and 3 hours into when the window was i get call from lowes saying the company canceled. so was rescheduled with another company. fyi this was to be the third time this company had been out to fix the exact same issue with fridge. read more

Randy was called out to look at our oven per a Home Warranty ticket we submitted. He said there was no serial # and it would need to be replaced. He stated he'd let American Home Warranty know right away so we can start the process to replace it. We had submitted a ticket the same day for our broken dishwasher.. He didnt know that however he did receive the ticket the following day. We spoke and he said he would be out within the next 2 days once a part for our refrigerator came in (this was something not covered by the warranty program) Its now been 2 weeks and we have called him directly 4-5 times, text him several times. Called and warranty company who has escalted the issue and called/sent multiple emails and Randy had not responded to anything. We have no range or dishwasher..... Thanks Randy! If your too busy or dont want to work on our issues the professional thing to do would be to just make a phone call! Your a piece of work and your business WILL fail if this is how you treat your clients! read more

This is the worst service I have ever received. My washer broke (and is still broken almost 1 month later), and he was supposed to be the one to come out and fix it. After the initial service call where he said he fixed it, it still was not working so I called him back. He said that he was ordering a part for the washer and then he would come out and replace the part. I kept calling him trying to find out where my part was because he said it would be in the next week. I called and called, no answer, and he would not return my calls. After over three weeks I finally started working with the warranty company to get things figured out. He would not return their phone calls or emails either. I now am having to go through a different company to get the washer fixed. I have not been able to do laundry for ONE MONTH! I will not do business with this company ever again. read more

When my dryer broke under warranty, Electrolux contracted with Basin Appliance Repair to come and fix it. He arrived on time - which is about the only positive thing that I can say. He spent just a couple minutes looking at the dryer - pushed the button and determined that it needed new computer boards. He said that he would order them and be back in about a week to complete the repair. 6 days later I had not heard from him so I called to leave a message with my phone number (instead of my husband's who was out of town). I never heard back. I left a message the next day as well. I never heard anything. I sent an email the following day requesting a call just to confirm he had the correct contact information. Again, I never heard from him. Over the next week, I contacted Electrolux several times trying to get a service update. They were unable to make contact with Basin either. Two weeks went by and I FINALLY got him on the phone. I gave my name and said I had been expecting him to return my call for quite a while. In one breath he said that he cancelled my call for service and hung up on me. I have never received such poor customer service. He was not thorough in his problem diagnosis. He was not professional or courteous in providing a return phone call or service update. He was down right rude in hanging up on my w/o explanation. He never actually provided the service he was contracted for. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Our dryer stopped heating, but everything else was functioning fine. We called Basin repair, and they said it was our vent. I explained to the tech that I had just cleaned the vents out (I have a telescoping brush tool to do so), but he insisted it was the vents. All the tech did was pull the top off the dryer, tell me the vent was clogged (without actually LOOKING at the vent) and charge me a service fee. He did not even check the heating element. I was told the vent at the top of the house had to be blocked and I needed to check it next time I was up there. The next day I got on the roof and there was no blockage at all. I called Basin repair back and informed them of the issue. I was told that they thought it was probably the thermostat and they would look into getting a part and call me back. That was almost 2 weeks ago and no word. In that time I have researched the problem and fixed it myself. The worst part? On both the washer (which did NOT need service) and dryer the Basin repair tech placed a sticker for their business over the manufacturer stickers that had the number to call for parts. I will never do business with this company again. read more
