10/10 experience!! I had a last-minute appointment, and they were able to fit me in quickly. They were right on time and super communicative with their ETA. I had just moved into my house and wasn't aware of the condition of some of the appliances. My dishwasher wasn't really washing at all, so they came out to take a look. They thoroughly checked everything and let me know that I needed a new pump. They also checked the age of the dishwasher and explained that it was already dated. In this situation, they could have simply given me the repair price and made more money by doing the repair, but instead, they gave me their honest opinion--the same advice they said they would give their own family. They told me it would make more sense to invest in a new dishwasher rather than repair an older appliance in the condition mine was in. That level of honesty and integrity is exactly what I look for in a company. They were genuinely looking out for me rather than just seeing a dollar sign. I will 100% be using them for anything I need in the future, and I'll trust their recommendations if they tell me one of my appliances needs a repair. Cody's appliance was quick to respond to my request for a fireplace service appointment. Truthfully it was set out for a couple months, but I knew it would be as it was too late in the season to make it a timely visit as everyone desires this service before winter sets in and it was already winter upon us. They did put me on a waiting list incase something came open for an earlier date. They did in fact call me for an earlier date but we were unable to accept the earlier appointment. Berle was our fireplace technician today. He was wonderful!! Quick efficient and thorough. He replaced our fan as it was going out and gave us estimates for some inquiries we had on some upgrades. He cleaned up beautifully and even replaced the switch for the gas fireplace. Refrigerator quit working...so I went back to Cody's because they have always taken good care of me in the past with several other appliances. Contacted them through text that night, they got back to me as soon as they opened the next morning. They were able to come out at the time I requested, booking the appointment took no time at all. Day of the appointment Tim B texts me saying he'll be here within 30 minutes. He arrives moments later and gets to work. I called Cody's in the morning for an old refrigerator that wasn't working. They scheduled me between 3-6 that same day. About 2:30 I got a text from SHANE saying he was 10 minutes out. SHANE is a very nice young man. I explained my issue with the refrigerator. Very competently SHANE diagnosed the problem & gave me options as to how to repair it. There was a problem with the circuit board. SHANE was able to repair it by soldering the burned out circuit. The fridge was up & running before 3. It's been running ever since. I'm VERY happy with the outcome. Cost was only $60.00 in addition to the $125.00 call out fee. SHANE is VERY friendly & competent at his job. I HIGHLY recommend Cody's. My washer broke down and I was able to get an appointmeny with Cody's super fast. The repairman Shane was so knowledgeable and kind. He discovered we had the worst problem possible- the whole control board had gone out. He gave me his honest opinion and I felt like I could really trust him. The staff was friendly, professional, quoted a reasonable call out fee, and set expectations. I received several texts confirming the appointment, and giving the repairman's enroute arrival time. Paid $130.00 to have Cody Appliance Repair come out and check on a Thermador oven that was not heating properly. We were told that the oven being 50 degrees off was normal and its fine. No repairs, nothing fixed. Continued to be frustrated with issues I recently had Thermador come out and inspect. The heat sensor is malfunctioning and the oven should never be 50 degresse off. They are fixing the issues and getting the oven to work properly. Frustrating I paid Codys Appliance Repair for a diagnostic that was incorrect. Waste of money. read more

I will never again call this company to service any of my appliances. The service technician was nice enough but only after spending a short amount of time looking at my GE Monogram refrigerator, he told me that if he went any further my warranty would be voided. He then asked for the $125.00 trip charge and that I couldn't pay by card only check. I reluctantly gave him a check & then called the company to let them know of my displeasure. He also made the statement that his company didn't order from GE but that I could order a part & they'd install it. DUH! How could I order a part when he hadn't established the cause of my refrigerator malfunction. I called GE directly & they set up an appt. with a service company which not only charged LESS for the trip charge, $99.00, but also fixed my refrigerator & is sending the bill directly to GE. read more

Had them repair a Bosch Microwave. Jim, the repair tech, arrived right on time and went to work skillfully determining the problem. It was the magatron gone bad. The cost for the part and repair was under $400. This was very reasonable considering a replacement of the microwave would be $1600-2000. was it worth $165 just to unclog a drain in the back of my fridge? I guess. I don't know. felt like I was being ripped off, but what do I know? originally he wanted $265 if he was going to have to unscrew the current drain and put the newer one in, but luckily mine already had the newer one. they get 2 stars for being prompt and helpful. I understand the $99 service call. what I don't get is why I was charged an additional $65 for them just doing their job. oh but he did install a $3 water alarm in the back just in case it leaks (it doesn't leak). so that's cool. the whole process took about 35 minutes. Very disappointed. Service call is $125.00. Robert came out to fix a start button on our washer. He took it all apart and found the broken piece. I watched a youtube video on the exact washer and where the start button broke. There is a $50.00 piece that fits behind the start button that snaps in. He quoted $800 for a complete new board for the entire control panel. He said they could not replace the broke part only. I asked him to leave it all apart and I would do it myself. He said he had to put it all back together before he left. I ordered the part and fixed it myself. I paid $125 for absolutely nothing. I won't use Cody's again or refer them to my real estate clients. read more

Sadly you fail to mention that your service was only a day or two passed your warranty of one year but you did not hesitate to inform me of my cost of an additional service charge. Why couldn't you just have charged me for the part again(along with your mark up of course) and warrantied your labor which technically I missed by one day out.
