I found out after the visit that the parts he charged 186.00 for could be bought for 30.00 online, very common repair kit and OEM parts. He was there less than an hour and charged 350.00 total for the repair, including the 186.00 for parts( a 30 dollar cost). Quick response he worked quickly to get me i. With options. They were flexible with meeting me during work hours by calling half hour prior. Once he arrived he was very polite, he looked at the fridge showed me the problems as he did the diagnosis. He spent the extra time to do a full repair and made sure the ice maker was working prior to leaving. read more

Woke up to a warm refrigerator and freezer this morning. Got on Yelp to find an appliance repair company and JC Appliance showed up as 5 stars. I called the number and Jose answered. After giving him the description of our fridge, model #, age, etc. he said it's the compressor and still under warranty; and that I'd need to call manufacturer for that. I did, and a repairman is scheduled to come out in a couple days. Jose was kind enough to explain how the warranty process works and that he could have come out and tell me what he did over the phone and then charge me a minimum $100 service charge. I truly appreciated his advice and will call him next time something goes belly up. read more

JC Appliance (Scott) was scheduled through Electrolux to review and repair my Electrolux refrigerator. The service was scheduled on Monday 01.29.18 for a visit on Thursday 02.01.18. Scott did not show up on Thursday. He said he thought the visit was scheduled for Friday 02.02.18 and rescheduled for that day. He did not show up Friday either and rescheduled for Saturday 02.03.18, and as you would guess, he did not show up that day either. He said he would call me Monday 02.05.18 to reschedule. That call never came in, and as of this date 03.01.18, I still have not heard from him. I called Electrolux back and recommended they remove JC Appliance Repair from their vendor list and now have another service company scheduled. I cannot, and do not, recommend JC Appliance Repair! read more

My dryer had quit working and I had two teenagers coming home from a camping trip the next day and needed to leave town the day after that, I was desperately in need of a working dryer! My dishwasher broke during the holidays, when I had a house full of guests. I called on a Sunday, expecting to leave a message, but instead I was greeted by a friendly voice. I spoke with Jose, who could sense the urgency of my situation. The very next day he showed up, on time, and began to diagnose my dishwasher. He went out of his way to check every option available for me. After finding out that the machine could not be fixed without costly parts. Once I decided to replace it with a new dishwasher, I had another problem. I don't have the time to research and shop for it. Because of José's experience and expertise, he was able to refer me to several options to choose from. He helped me to make my choice, picked up and delivered my new dishwasher, all the very next day. He had my new, beautiful dishwasher installed and running in no time. He also took away my broken dishwasher and disposed of it. I can't believe how someone could turn a holiday disaster into a pleasant experience with such wonderful results. The best part is, if I ever need another appliance repaired, I have an awesome go to guy!
