We walked over to the ice cream cooler to start looking at the flavors- then I took a minute to look up at the menu & read the options, I could feel one of the girls staring at me intently :) I kept reading the menu & looked down and she was still staring at me almost death staring me :) so I smiled at her & said hi- she said nothing & just kept staring at me- very weird. Neither of them asked us what we would like or if we wanted to sample anything they just stared at us. Very uncomfortable experience. My daughter then asked the one girl if she could have a scoop of the TN orange & the girl was helpful & got it for her & actually gave her a very large scoop. I then asked the girl that had been staring at me :) if I could have a scoop of the chocolate with the chunks of chocolate. She scooped it for me (a decent scoop but much smaller than my daughters) The scoops are $6-7. The other girl that had helped my daughter rang us up & we paid & then we took our scoops out front & ate them in the cute chairs in front. I really liked my chocolate scoop- it was delicious! My daughter said hers was pretty good too. The inside was clean & cute & they had cute things for sale. The experience was really just not great due to the poor customer service.

He talked down to her in the most rude and disrespectful way and based on what I observed, it was the customer who was in the wrong. If he wasn't already heading out the door, I would have intervened. She and her boss (the manager, I think) handled with such professionalism and courtesy. I don't think I would have been as nice if I had been in their shoes. Every time I visit, the staff is so nice and helpful. They always have what I need and pricing is very affordable.
