Staff told us they were not allowed to do that and could only serve from what was already in front. There was also a posted Kilwins "Handling Allergen Requests" notice stating that stores should not open a fresh tub, use separate scoops, or implement special handling procedures for allergy requests. I understand no ice cream shop can guarantee allergen-free food. However, families with celiac disease should know this location would not take even basic cross-contact precautions such as a clean scoop or clean/unopened tub. Because of that, my daughter could not safely order. Very disappointing experience. In Response to owner : Hi Ashley, I appreciate your response, but this actually highlights the concern. Saying that using a clean scoop or an unopened tub "would not make a product safer" is very troubling for families with celiac disease. Those steps may not eliminate all risk in a shared environment, but they absolutely can reduce one obvious source of gluten cross-contact: shared scoops and front tubs that may have been touched by cones, cookies, brownies, or other gluten-containing items. We were not asking Kilwins to guarantee that anything was gluten-free or allergen-free. We understand there is still risk in a shared environment. We were asking for basic cross-contact precautions so we could make an informed decision. What is disappointing is that Kilwins' policy appears to remove that choice entirely by refusing to take any special handling steps, even when a family clearly understands the remaining risk. For a child with celiac disease, being told that the store will not even use a clean scoop or unopened tub is not "keeping customers safe" -- it means the customer is effectively excluded from being able to participate. I appreciate that your intent may be to avoid misleading people, but the better approach would be to say: "We cannot guarantee no cross-contact, but we can use a clean scoop and unopened tub upon request." Families with celiac disease deserve accurate information and reasonable precautions, not a blanket refusal.

Get to the line the very person in front of me wanted it too and he told her SOLD OUT. Heartbreaking. The person behind me said they always sell out the evening hours of the specialty flavor. Buckeye is peanut butter custard, I was really looking forward to it! Bummer!!! I know they have some in the case to take home, maybe next time!! They gave me a work around! Music city madness vanilla with no chocolate syrup add double peanut butter. I'm so excited! Also EVERYONE is so friendly, the store is clean and cozy and lines wrap around the building for the drive through and wraps inside as well. These guys are busyyyyyyyyy. This isn't JUST Custard. This creamy, flavorful, incredible consistency (ie not grainy at all), all the way to the bottom. Usually I'm NOT a small size orderer when it comes to iced treats but I feel full and completely satisfied. A bit sad that it's over but glad that it happened! Cannot wait to go back. My husband was annoyed driving out this far but by mid small of his "Hawaiian La'ua" (spelling) he was singing their praises, "I'd definitely be back and get this again!" lol Sooooo good does not disappoint!!!! Highly recommend and will absolutely be back!

The warm, inviting vibe immediately drew me in. Since I was dining solo, I was able to grab a seat at the bar, which the hostess kindly pointed out was available. Considering the restaurant was packed and there was a long wait for tables, I was more than happy to skip the wait and settle right in. Behind the bar, the team was hustling, expertly balancing both coffee and cocktail orders while keeping things moving efficiently. I was greeted right away, handed a menu, and after a few minutes decided on an iced lavender latte and the lemon poppyseed waffle. My server offered a few side options, but I had a feeling the waffle would be more than enough. The lavender latte was fantastic, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of lavender syrup. It was flavorful without being overpowering and made for a refreshing start to the meal. Then came the waffle. The presentation alone was impressive; it looked more like a piece of art than a breakfast dish. Naturally, my phone had to eat first. But once I finally took that first bite, I understood what all the hype was about. The lemon flavor was subtle, bright, and refreshing, while the poppy seeds baked into the waffle added both texture and depth. Honestly, it was one of the best waffles I've ever had. Every bite was delicious, and it's a dish I'll be thinking about long after this visit. If you're looking for a standout breakfast in a lively atmosphere, Two Hands is absolutely worth the stop.
