On 04/11/2026 at 1925. I really wanted to give this place a higher rating because the ice cream itself was genuinely great--fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you'd hope for on a visit. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by extremely unprofessional behavior from a staff member who appeared to be a manager or supervisor on shift. During my visit, this individual was loudly arguing with what seemed to be a customer and used explicit language, including saying, "I'll f*** you up," in front of children and other guests. It created a very uncomfortable and inappropriate environment, especially for a place that families come to enjoy. In addition to the aggressive tone, the behavior came across as discriminatory and deeply concerning. As an HR professional, I can't overlook conduct like this--it reflects a serious lack of professionalism and raises questions about workplace culture and accountability. No customer, especially families with kids, should have to witness that kind of language or hostility while simply trying to enjoy ice cream. I hope ownership or upper management takes this seriously and conducts a proper investigation, as this situation warrants immediate attention and corrective action. Until this is addressed, I would be hesitant to return. I'll be following up on this matter and sharing any updates based on how the situation is handled on social media and with corporate. read more

This is a small baskin robin on San Mateo Blvd. the drive through is very narrow and us usually waiting time is higher than going inside.:9 much selections and different flavors of ice creams. They have non dairy options and sugar free ice cream. The staff is respectful and for part friendly. I ordered my dad a cake for Father's Day and was really happy with the way the cake turned out. It was delicious and decorated really nicely. On a customer service note, when I walked in to pick up my order I didn't see anyone standing around. I craned my neck to try and see behind the counter and out pops a young lady. No greeting, she just stands there and stares at me. So I tell her what I need and she quietly walks off, again without saying anything. Another guy was playing video games or listening to the radio or something over in the corner and didn't even bother to acknowledge me. With that said, he did help another customer that came in after me but their customer service really needs some help. It would appear that there is no training on how to greet customers when they walk in the door. If they were trained then they weren't using it. If you need an ice cream cake Baskin Robbins is always the place to go but just be prepared to have poor customer service unless the manager or owner of this particular location decides to do something about it. read more

Walked in on a Sunday evening, and it was a very strange interaction with crew. The staff consists of mostly teenagers, and they have zero customer service skills. The person taking our order was nice, but we ended up waiting 15 minutes for a soda float drink. More so, the staff was loud, using foul language and blasting music that was wildly inappropriate. Music consisted of sexual lyrics, swear words and so on. The staff seemed to just mess around, and even so one of them made a comment about our drink taking forever. The management here seems unorganized. We like this location, but we are less inclined to return. As a manager, that store seems like a disaster, and it was just awful sitting in the lobby with loud trashy music waiting forever on someone to mix a soda and some ice cream. I'm all for a crew having fun, but that was baffling. read more

BR ice cream is always good, typical store layout, fairly clean. Unfortunately after we had been served and sat down a customer pulled up at the drive-thru window and waited for more than 5 minutes, he started knocking on the window. One young lady busy serving a customer, while two others were scooping ice cream for themselves while the customer at the window continued to knock on the drive-thru window. I told them there's a customer knocking on your drive-thru window. They didn't acknowledge me, so I repeated myself - no acknowledgement as they walked into the back room. Third time I repeated myself and this time I raised my voice and said "hey, you have a customer at your drive-thru window knocking on your window"! They finally "heard"! Two extra people talking away eating ice cream in the back while one person busy serving while a customer was trying to get their attention?! Worse customer service I have ever seen! This happened around noon at 3515 San Mateo Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM. You all need to pay more attention to your customer. The BR's that I go to always have great customer service! Pulled up only to see lobby was closed on a monday evening.... Went to drive thru sign reads to pull to place order... we were looking at the items when we are told pull forwars.. The young man with glasses had the worse attitude... as if we were a bother to him... Placed our order. Best one in town plus they have a drive thru woo hoo! Makes it so much more convenient. I have been coming here for years! This location makes the best cappuccino blast. For some reason, the other locations don't taste the same or nearly as good. The manager here is great! I drive clear across town to come here. You can also try it with other flavors such as the seasonal flavors like peppermint or pumpkin. The original cappuccino blast is my favorite with the turtle blast being second. I came today for the grand re-opening ceremony (found out about it through Yelp). The shop itself is kind of difficult to turn into and I forgot to take into account the traffic at the time (thought I would make it back in time for work, but I guess not). They even had Cone-y the mascot out. The drive through line was extremely slow (I was only the 3rd car and ended up waiting and waiting and waiting). There needs to be a better system, instead of ordering through just the one window. I turned around, parked, and walked inside instead. Again, lines slower than molasses. After a terrible experience at a Haagen Dazs joint in Santa Fe, I refused to give that place my business and gave up hopes of a yummy frozen dessert. Four of us were driving back to Albuquerque and spotted the Baskin Robbins with an open sign. It was late and there were no cars in the lot, so my husband didn't want to stop but the 2 females in the car begged for a u-turn. We were waved towards the drive-thru. Yes, I wrote it. DRIVE THRU ice cream!!!! ahhhhh! I was very happy to see my coveted Daquiri Ice on the menu, so I ordered a scoop on a cake cone. The drive-thru had serious prison bars in front of it. They always have a wide variety of different flavors and they're always coming up with some different new way to serve their ice cream. I've always experience good customer service only complaint I have is that it's so cold in there. You can order ice cream cakes or you can order happy face upside down ice cream cones for the kids. There were 2 ladies working there, one mean and one nice. Guess which one I got? That's right, she hated her job and the customers even more. I believe her face would have split in two if she smiled. My 11 year old son asked for extra toppings to which she replied "that will cost extra, still want it?" My son asked for a cup of ice water and she charged me the same price as a bottle of water. I'd like to say she had the personality of lint, but I think lint has more character. We asked for napkins and was quite surprised she didn't threaten to charge extra.
