The chocolate sauce used was a tad bit watery, consistent wise, from what I'm used to my Sundays being topped with, But the chocolatey flavor was still there. I know it's a bit of a watered down complaint (no pun intended) that's why I feel it didn't warrant the removal of a star for this review. I also know how somewhat overly critical I can be about how my Sundays are made. One other thing I liked was the Bogo special they had going on with certain menu items, one of which being their Sundays. so the fact that I was able to get two for the price of one, definitely put a smile on my face.

We found parking easily and walked on - as soon as we walked in we were greeted warmly - always a good sign! The inside was very clean - it took us a minute to remember the menu because we don't get there often. Ordering was easy and the person at the counter was super friendly! Food was made quickly and was very tasty, hot and fresh! When we were finished I went to thrown our trash and put the tray back and I noticed the gentleman who was making the food and told him everything was delicious! Unfortunately... it didn't quite live up to it. I ordered the Freddy's Original Steakburger and it was honestly underwhelming. The patty came out dry and lacking flavor, topped with oversized chunks of onions and a single long pickle that didn't really help the situation. My wife's chili dog was just... there. Nothing memorable. Now, I will give credit where it's due. The thin fries were actually pretty good, even though my daughter jokingly called them "Ozempic fries" and honestly... she wasn't wrong. What saved this visit from dropping lower were the shakes and the service. The Signature Turtle Shake and Oreo Double Trouble Shake were fire. I'm not even a sweets person, but I kept going back for more of my wife's shake. Staff was also friendly and welcoming, which helped soften the disappointment. Overall, come for the shakes, maybe skip the mains.
