Terrible!!! New girl gave me milk in a cup not a milk shake we got kid scoops in our 3 scoop sundae! Absolute waste of $ and time!

FYI, They charge you for Ice when you togo pre packed Ice creams in 110 degree. I asked for Ice since I didn't want the ice cream to melt going home. Manager comes up and start charging us without letting us know. After an employee pack the ice she said that would be $3.00.I ended up paying for the ice. If the manager told me up front I would have been willing to pay. Ashley was super nice and I think she should be the manger. Current manager has an attitude and she is scaring the customers away. read more

I have come to Baskin Robbins for years. Usually understaffed but I am a patient person. Occasionally not as clean as it could be but I also understand rush business and they could have been busy and not been able to clean up yet, bit this time I just had to make a review. I called and ordered a cake 24 hours in advance and no one bothered to make it. It was for my 6 year old granddaughter who wanted a princess party. They had no cake but sold him one that they had that was bigger and more expensive. And it had a "Frozen" theme. That was not what we wanted nor ordered. Had no time to make a change so after 20 something years we are done with this store. read more

Best place to grab a coffee and ice cream. The staff is Amazing super nice and professional. They also have delicious cakes. Kim and Angelica do a wonderful job along with the other staff they get it done in as quick as 24 hrs. Definitely reccomend baskin robbins in La Quinta. read more

forced to give one star to get this posted even though they don't deserve any stars!Avoid this place like the plague! it's run by a bunch of idiots who don't know the right side from their left! I placed an order online 36 hours ago and went to pick it up today.... when I pulled up to the area that was clearly marked with banners "CURBSIDE PICKUP" I called to let them know I was here and requested that they bring my order out to me. the b**** on the phone said "we don't do curbside pickup for anything other than prepacked ice cream and drinks" and I had ordered an ice cream cake! I told her that it was pre-ordered and already paid for and she said "we don't do curbside pickup except for ice cream cones and drinks" so I had to stop and find parking, go into the store and get my order. I am a handicap senior citizen with handicap placards and recovering from back surgery with a spine full of metal, and when I got inside I said it's too bad you don't do curbside pickup for birthday cakes, "it was very difficult for me to come inside" and the first lady there who looked to be the manager said "I didn't tell you that on the phone" and I told her I don't know who I spoke with but somebody less than 60 seconds ago told me on the phone that they could not do curbside pickup for me! It was very uncomfortable because of my age and infirmity and again this lady who looked to be the manager responded again with "I didn't tell that to you, I didn't call talk to you on the phone" even though I said I didn't accuse her, just to make sure the staff was all on the same page! as soon as I turn to leave I hear all three of these girls saying "I didn't tell her, I didn't tell her, I didn't tell her" and I turned around and said "somebody told me otherwise I wouldn't be standing here right now" and again the older white lady said "I didn't tell you that, and we're having a private conversation" so I left. The corporate office will be notified as will the owner of this franchise. SHAME ON YOU! you've lost a customer for life and you've lost anybody else I can tell about this horrible experience, horrible!! read more

Just when I thought 2020 couldn't get any worse. I went into Baskin -Robbins today in hopes of getting pumpkin ice cream but NO all they have is pumpkin cheesecake. I'm a purist when it comes to ice cream, I don't like a lot of additional ingredients. My Fall is ruined Baskin- Robbins. read more

We thought things were going to be better(after the auto accident and the warm freezer fiasco) with the new ownership at BR. In general, the ice cream is usually in great shape. . . however. . . These clerks need training. Badly. The store is inconsistently clean. Not all employees know how to make change, nor do they understand how to reduce a customer's bill when given a one dollar per cone coupon. Further, last week I asked for a hand packed quart. (The product i wanted was not in the pre-packed freezer.) One clerk had trouble getting the fresh ice cream out of the barrel. Another took over and scraped the bottom of the barrel to such a point that the product was nothing but the consistency of maple syrup. And it was so poorly packed that almost half the container was nothing but air. The clerk knew this, too. This same clerk is the one who cannot process a coupon properly. She needs a different job. Of course the ice cream was good. The reason for a 2 star review is because it is my daughters 5th Birthday and we brought her for ice cream. She wanted some whipped cream and sprinkles on her scoop so I asked if they could. The girl told me yesterday, but it would be an extra charge. No biggie...how much could it possibly be? We paid $2.49 for the kids scoop and we're charged $0.89 EACH for a tiny swirl of whipped cream and a teaspoon or less of sprinkles. Are you kidding me? So, her small, kid size scoop ended costing almost $5. Next time I'll go to Cold Stone....it would be far less and better options. read more

Totally disgusted with the sundaes I purchased tonight! I'm a regular customer at this location and usually it's great and the scoops are fair and generous. The girl who filled my order went from washing dishes to scooping my ice cream without washing her hands and then proceeded to give me less than 1/2 a scoop of ice and and barely any toppings! I usually have a coupon but tonight it was all full price and barely 3 pink spoonfuls of ice cream! I've also been charged for eating in tax and I clearly took everything home where I found I had a really 1/2 ass made sundae. Waste of money! read more

VERY disappointed with their new "polar pizza", and it's VERY expensive for what you get for the money. The thin layer of ice cream on the cookie crust is almost the same width or LESS than the width of the crust, and the quantity of ice cream appears to be less than a pint(!). I get a full pint at the grocery for $3.99, and this deal costs $17.99!!!!! What? For that price I expected to get a sufficient amount of ice cream on the crust, this one looked like the "ice cream" was being used as "icing" for the cookie crust -- not good, and not fair to the customer, probably would have had a bigger serving if I ordered a 2-scoop cone(!) COME ON, Baskin-Robbins, it's 2016, we should get our money's worth!!! read more

If this place could get 0 stars for a review, I'd do it. Went in with some family to get dessert after dinner as an early Father's Day thing, the gal who attended us was straight up rude and you could tell she didn't want to be there. A sundae was forced into a child's size cup, it's common sense that you can't fit a scoop of ice cream and pile it with the toppings where it's all falling to the side..... after asking for some napkins, I am given one! Meanwhile toppings are falling from the sides and the drink we ordered was just halfway filled... like I get we're in a pandemic but charging full price for a kids scoop looking sundae and half of a large cappuccino blast? The letdown of this place, welllll; anyone got any other recommendations because I just opened up a new business and would love to treat my employees to some delicious ice creams and drinks during these summer months that we visit? read more

Went in lastnight for ice cream with my boyfriend we both ordered 2 scoops in a cup I had jamocha almond fudge and pistachio on top as I was eating the pistachio almond which tasted great I suddenly bit down and broke my tooth at first I spit out what looked to be a piece of tile or ceramic of some sort i went back to the store and she said there was nothing she could do about it...worst ice cream experience ever now have a broken tooth and will soon have a pricey dental bill I'm sure...I should've thought twice when I saw they didn't was their hands or wear gloves lesson learned read more

Rude, that's all I can say. Truly can't believe the manager, there was a new girl and I believe she did not make my sons smoothie correctly, I'm sorry but if I spend almost $7 on a smoothie I would like it correct. I asked very nicely if they could please remake it and the manager did not want to. She finally decided to make a new and told me to give her the other one back, NO problem! If we can't even get friendly customer service then I'll take my business somewhere else, $33 on a smoothie, 2 shakes and 3 single scoops of ice cream. No problem with going somewhere else. And trust me I never ever try to complain to people making our food, but I really didn't think I was asking to much. read more

If no star was possible that is what I would give. I have gone there for the last two weeks. First time the service was slow, store was dirty, just not good. So I want to give them a second change and went back on Monday of this week. It was worst, only one person to help the ten people, counters behind the ice creams filled with dirty dishes and utensils, no napkins and floor dirty. As we are getting ready to leave two young ladies come out from the back area. Where were they when everyone needed service. Asked for the manager or owner told they were not there. Stopped by Baskin Robbins in La Quinta today to pick up some pumpkin ice cream (which I wait all year for) and they have changed my favorite to pumpkin cheese cake. I love this place! The prices are less than a lot of Baskin Robbins I've been to in other areas of California and the cakes are amazing! They can do cakes in any design you want, any flavor you want and can make them big enough to serve a large party. The Polar Pizzas are awesome if you need an easy treat for kids in a classroom or at a party - no utensils required! They always remember my order when I go in and are always friendly and kind. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews - I go there all the time and always have a great experience. I think sometimes people just like to complain. read more
