This place handled the rush we had there pretty impressively, they only had 2 employees there at the time. There was probably a good 30-40 people overall inside at one point, and the line seemed to move pretty quickly in my opinion. I think Baskin Robbins has exclusively Dreyer's but to be honest, I'm partial to Dreyer's. Would comeback for a scoop or 2 for sure. read more

They are much better than I remember. I have been up and down with this location but having the Baskin Robbins app helps. Keep in mind when school is out is when they get busy. 10/10 customer service. When i went in to get some ice cream wednesday afternoon i was immediately greeted and offered new flavors that they had gotten. I hate to leave bad reviews and it takes a lot but management is very poor. I ordered a banana shake that tasted like pure milk even though I paid for an extra banana when I asked her to add another banana and the shake became a pure milk consistency, I asked the lady to fix it and she told me that she would have to charge me for extra ice cream. When I told her that i didn't think that was right she said there was nothing she could do and called the manager who still wouldn't do anything stating that it was a customized item. When I told her that was dissatisfied and that I wanted a refund or would even just take a scoop of ice cream at half the cost so I didn't walk out with anything, manager still refused and said she would have to follow up. I explained that I was from Palo Alto and ot from the area so there would be no way to correct later; still nothing. Terrible customer service. I just spent $80 on an ice cream cake this past weekend with their store, trust I will not be back. I will also add that the reason the employee said she had to charge me extra and couldn't replace with a simple scoop of ice cream was because she could give out free product. Well she dumped at least 2 small size shakes worth of product with all the left over she had in the blenders. I bought 3 shakes tonight. It's raining outside. I was craving HOT fudge so I tried this Baskin Robbin's again because it's a Mike from my house. everything was going well with my banana split until it was time for the hot fudge across all three scoops. The server and then I both realized someone had begun to "restock" the hot fudge but pulled both metal containers from their holders and left them Long enough on the counter that the hot fudge was now congealed. She got a spoon and proceeded to put lumps of it on the ice cream while I watched flies landing on the metal containers. The most unappetizing thing ever!! Not to mention that heating it, cooling and now Inoresume they will reheat it is a little scary bacteria-wise . I don't know why this Baskin Robbin's can't get its act together. It's so frustrating. We love this BR location because they have the lemon custard flavor, which is not available at every location. It's a nostalgic flavor that our family loves. We came in at 9:45 which is close to closing I understand but they had already put away half of their ice cream flavors. My brother who has teeth pain just wanted a milkshake so he could avoid chewing. They refused an oreo milkshake because they had just put the ice cream away. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! This location is awful. I tried to order a milkshake and the southeast asian girl that works here is one of the rudest customer service people I've encountered. She will sit there rolling her eyes and literally huffing and puffing the entire time. Why do customer service if you hate people or can't stand to be friendly? Ended up canceling our family's entire order. We have also tried a few different times to order a thicker milkshake, meaning less milk, and are told they cannot do that. She had the worst attitude & rolled her eyes after every sentence. It made us want to just leave. Since we we're such an inconvenience to her. For $19.27 for a Banana Royal Sunday with extra regular chocolate syrup and a Oreo's n Cookies Cappuccino. What a rip-off - the two ice cream scoops were two half scoops and you could not see the chocolate or even taste it was there. I called to complain to the Manager but they would not be in until the next day and basically very young workers running the show. When I phoned to speak to a manager - the person who answered was the one who made the order. They went as far as to say they added extra hot fudge when I never order hot fudge I ordered extra regular choc syrup for starters and the ice cream was all melted into a soup within minutes when it was brought home right around the corner from them. I have not ordered any thing from them because a while back the same issue. Needless to say they are over priced for the serving and quality and not worth paying your hard earned money for an order that is a joke when you get it. Nothing cools you down on a hot day better than some ice cream from baskin Robbins. I came in with my mom and niece late afternoon. They were quite busy, however, we were helped within a couple of minutes by Heidi, she was calm, collected, and had a smile on her face the whole time she helped us. She patiently made our sundaes with precision and obliged our little customizations. At 106 degrees F, I was somewhat feeling the heat. As soon as I walked into the place, I was greeted by a friendly worker. I told her what I wanted, and she asked all the right questions, and even offered a sample of some new flavor. I told her that my allergy to cow's milk made it difficult to have a lot of ice cream, so we left it at that. They're not horribly expensive, but it's not cheap either. However, the Pralines and Cream flavor is worth it from time to time. They were offering 2 pre-packed quarts for $10 which seems incredibly good compared to the pints of Häagen-Dazs you'll find for $5.00 each elsewhere. Whether you get exactly the flavors you want, I suppose depends on what they package ahead of time. In any case, there was some caramel drip on the side of the cup, but the ice cream was good--not thawed and re-frozen at all. read more

This poor store just can't seem to get its act together! Every time I inquire, I find it has a new owner. The quality of service ebbs and flows based on owners. Tonight after a 100 degree day obviously we all had the same idea at 8:30 when the sun was going down. Ice cream! The line was LONG. It curved around the ice cream stalls and all the way to the back door. 2 young employees (1 male and 1 female) were doing their best to keep up. There was a 3rd employee that was ignoring everyone and "stocking" ice cream tubs. 20 minutes in, it was my turn. I ordered and asked why the 3rd person wasn't helping customers given such a long line. They said she had seniority and felt her time was best used stocking. I never write yelp reviews because I don't like to judge a book by its cover but this is my third time this month leaving disappointed with the service. Although I am utterly disgusted at what I've witnessed at such a fine establishment like this. My granddaughter and I were going in for a scoop of a ice cream and there was a problem with the ice cream, the guy in front of me said it tasted freezer burnt, the girl looked at him with a blank stare looked over at her other employee and the other employee shrugged her shoulders and proceeded to walk away when there was a fairly large line. She set the cup down on the container then contaminated the counter. I really think these employees need a food handlers safety course. I had forgotten my wallet so I had gone back to my car and through the window i see the little girl come back grab the cup off the counter after helping another customer WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS (and served Reese's which i'm sure can trigger a nut allergy), she throws the ice-cream back into the container grab a scooper and smash it down all of this barehanded! This use to be one of my favorite places to come to growing up but it changed they hire children that barely know how to tie their shoe let alone make a banana split. This place has changed management and every-time is goes further downhill. Although the recent managers don't even seem like they care about what their restaurant looks like on the inside, who they have working for them and what skills they possess and hm maybe what skills are required for the job. Step up your game for the sake of us and our kids you guys already sell half a scoop of ice cream for $3 you guys can't work on your service or cleanliness, or sell it to someone who can run a clean family friendly establishment. Went here after the park to get ice cream for the kids. The lady scoops one ice cream then drops the scooper on the ground. She then proceeds to put it back with the other scoopers. I replied that that was disgusting and she just went on. She asked what the next ice cream was. I told her and asked her to not use the scooper she picked off the floor. As she was about to ring us up, I asked if there was a manager. She said no and told me " If it makes you feel better there is sanitizer in the water" no dummy it doesn't. I would have just left but my kids had been waiting in the long slow line and were looking forward to this. I don't even want them to eat it but, at this point it is what it is. I don't care if there is sanitizer in the water. Common sense would tell you that when dealing with food, if something falls on the floor go wash it in a sink before you put it back. I will never go to this location again. If your workers think that this is ok then they should be fired. Absolutely disgusting behavior for a place that serves ice cream. read more
