I got a milkshake and I honestly appreciated the staff because they informed me that whipped cream on top was an extra charge. I actually didn't know that before because sometimes B&R staff but it on without asking or they just leave it off and don't ask if I want it. With that, I didn't know it was an extra charge. Anyways, this location was good and there is a parking lot which is good. Easy to find parking. They have more options of ice cream creations here like the dubai chocolate bar. I rarely go out of my way to put my energy into writing a bad review but OH BOY! I'm definitely putting the energy into it today... As a customer who lives right down the street I would come into this location to get ice cream when I needed a picker upper, the past 4 times I've been here I have been treated very poorly by the employees when I ask the reasoning for their so called policies. This location has had an advertisement that when you purchase 2 scoops you get a free waffle cone. On one of the visits I was there intending to buy 3 scoops and I asked if I can get the free waffle cone. The employee said "No" and that was all they said. I asked why wouldn't I be able to take advantage of the offer and they said "it's only when you buy 2 scoops". I'm literally buying an extra scoop which cost more than the 2 scoops and I can't have the cone? WOW! hence that I was going to be buying 2 orders of the 3 scoops. I told them never mind and walked out. On another visit after that I went in and attempted to give this location another chance. I asked for my 2 scoops in a cup and asked to take up the offer of the free cone. The employee said "you won't be able to" and I asked why? I'm already purchasing 2 scoops!? They said that the scoops had to be in the cone. I find that reason to be extremely stupid. I explained to the employee that I was stopping by after work and the reason that I wanted the 2 scoops in the cup and the cone on the side was because I was going to put the ice cream in my fridge and eat it later. I was only getting it now because I was tired from the day and once I got home I didn't want to drive back out. It was info that I didn't need to tell them but I wanted to explain my thought process behind it. They still said no so I ended up purchase my own cone because I didn't want to get into it any further. Today I went in again thinking that maybe my visit would be good. I asked for two scoops and told them that I would be requesting that they can put the scoops on the cone but if I can have them put the cone upside down in a cup. The person said I still wouldn't be getting the cone for free. At this point I told them "I don't want it" and walked out. I rather walk out than say unpleasant things... I don't know what the deal is with this dumb policy. If you are advertising a free cone with a 2 scoop purchase then give me the damn cone, it shouldn't matter to you how I enjoy it! I'm already fulfilling the requirement. To the owner who I hope reads this... Maybe you should consider chatting with the team and ask them to not be so condescending for starters when enforcing a "rule". Maybe change that sign to say "with purchase of 2 scoops or more" or "2-3 scoops". Like you literally can be upselling an additional scoop(s). Until then I decided to boycott and no longer go into this location. I rather take my business somewhere else or just go purchase ice cream at the store. read more

Came here for dessert after trying a near by sushi spot and it was such a hit. Got the cookies and cream scoop and it was delicious. Place was well lit, clean, and so cute! I really like the layout of the store. They were also very considerate about allergies and said they will give out an allergy scoops-- which i believe they change the scoop spoons for people with allergies. There is so much hype online about this dubai pistachio chocolate. When I saw that baskin Robbins released a limited edition ice cream bar, I absolutely had to try it. It's definitely pricey (almost $10/bar), but so worth it. The pistachio ice cream is so creamy, the outside chocolate shell is rich and the perfect amount of chocolate coating, and the knafeh inside gives it the perfect crunchy texture reviewers highly recommend it, praising the flavorful pistachio base though some note it can be quite rich due to its concentrated flavors. They often sell out, but if you get a chance to try it, I suggest you do. I hope it remains a regular menu item. As a paying customer, my experience depends heavily on who is working. Today, March 2nd, I visited Baskin-Robbins and encountered extremely unprofessional service. The employee assisting me appeared to be in a bad mood from the start. I ordered a banana split and politely pointed out that the banana looked rotten. Instead of replacing it, she placed it on the counter, removed her gloves, and walked away without addressing the issue. This is not the first time I've experienced a negative attitude from this employee. Each time she is working, her demeanor is unpleasant and unwelcoming. Customer service matters. As consumers, we deserve respectful treatment. If someone is unhappy in their role, that should not be projected onto paying customers. I got a new flavor called baseball but I think? It was vanilla with raspberry swirls and cashews. It seems like an odd combination. But it worked so well! I've been to this Baskin-Robbins twice with my kid, and both times the service was terrible. The same employees were working both visits, and even my kid noticed how rude and unfriendly they were. No one greeted us when we arrived, and the employees weren't in uniform, so it was confusing to even figure out who worked there. Their attitude made it clear they didn't want to be there, and they treated us like we were a bother. I get that people have bad days, but based on other reviews and my experience, this seems to be a pattern at this location. It's not a place I'd recommend if you want to be treated decently. One (blonde woman)was helping with a cake order at the register and the other (brunette woman)was washing dishes and packing ice cream cakes. While we waited the one washing dishes looked over several times. She was visibly annoyed that we were there at all. Or visibly annoyed with her co worker. Finally after 7! Minutes, she came over and left her dishes to help us. She pretty much groaned, what can I get you? We asked for samples of three ice creams. She was visibly annoyed and it showed in everything she did. From scarping a tiny sample (caramel salted with no caramel and cookie dough without any cookie dough). Most places wear gloves but she came from dishes so I guess her hands were clean? We chose our flavors and left. It was unpleasant. Ice cream shouldn't be unpleasant. It should be fun. It was hot out and my daughter had just gotten off her bus so we just wanted a cold treat to make the day a little brighter. For my ten year old to say "she was kinda rude daddy, huh?" It means it was very noticeable. So many choice for ice cream around us, we will think twice before returning to this place. They've got a great selection of ice cream flavors and the BEST part of this place is the service. I recently ordered a fiesta themed cake for my son's COCO themed birthday and they did not fail to deliver! The cake was decorated beautifully despite not being fondant and the price point can't be beat. The ice cream even stayed frozen through the 100+ degree heat that day and was delicious! I know that back in the 90s there was a basking robins then it changed to other business I remember going as a little girl..... I'm so glad it came back. Super clean location and UPDATED! I have visited this Encino location on several occasions to purchase gift certificates for my students as I give these as rewards for their hard work during COVID. This weekend, the young woman at the front got the manager (owner?) and he said that I would need to make $5 min purchases on each card. When I asked why the change, he said that this is how it is. I was a bit taken aback when he said "It's only a dollar difference", I explained that on a teacher's budget it would affect things as that would be a dollar difference per card. Another girl Cynthia aka shift-leader helped me picked out and ice cream. She showed me the new flavor of the month; pumpkin cheesecake. I ended up getting ice on the cake flavor. B&R has been my favorite ice cream ever since I knew what ice cream was! My dad used to take my family there as a surprise treat. He loved the French Vanilla, but I always had a weakness for Chocolate Fudge. As I grew more mature(?), I branched out and tried Peanut Butter And Chocolate, Jamoca Almond Fudge and even Butter Pecan--as long as it had B&R's obscenely delicious hot fudge on it! Great branch with great staff, very helpful, accomodating and professional. I ordered a custom birthday cake over the phone that was the perfect choice all within 5 minutes. This was after I called another nearby BR branch that was super unhelpful and brushed me off saying you have to come into the branch to order. Oh well, apparently they don't want to make sales, so this branch is a very welcome addition to the neighborhood. But my roommate wanted a cake for his birthday and the one I ordered from Ralph's wasn't correct when I went to pick it up so then I called Baskin Robbins and they were like yeah we have lots of ice cream cakes. They even had oreo cookie ice cream cake which is what I told the birthday boy to expect so I got lucky! They also had a box of like 12 or so mini ice cream cones of different flavors already picked out. So you better believe I'll be back to score some of those once this ice cream cake is toast. They are only open for pick ups cause of COVID which is nice. They had a lot of frozen treats like ice cream cake slices dunked in chocolate and frozen. It was wild. And there's three kids working there during a pandemic! So, I can't imagine there's a line ever lol. read more
