Dubai pistachio ice cream bar
Susie L.

There is so much hype online about this dubai pistachio chocolate. When I saw that baskin Robbins released a limited edition ice cream bar, I absolutely had to try it. It's definitely pricey (almost $10/bar), but so worth it. The pistachio ice cream is so creamy, the outside chocolate shell is rich and the perfect amount of chocolate coating, and the knafeh inside gives it the perfect crunchy texture reviewers highly recommend it, praising the flavorful pistachio base though some note it can be quite rich due to its concentrated flavors. They often sell out, but if you get a chance to try it, I suggest you do. I hope it remains a regular menu item. The girls that work here are also so nice and always provide excellent service.

Ordered a photo cake from this location - there was plastic wrap inside... was obviously grossed out so called the store to let them know and the manager was unhelpful and downright rude. I still haven't been refunded. Avoid this store at all costs.

It was hot as all get out, so me and my mom decided to get a little something cool to help ease the pain. I remember 31 flavors (as it was called when I was a kid) being such a big deal. Now that my tastes have "matured" I tend to go to more refined ice cream shops. :) But today, Baskin Robbins did it's job. My mom went with the classic pralines and cream on a sugar cone. I got a new flavor called baseball but I think? It was vanilla with raspberry swirls and cashews. It seems like an odd combination. But it worked so well! The person who helped us was friendly as well. One thing I will point out is that that parking lot is a bit wild. It's a busy lot with lots of stores. So be prepared for a parking lot adventure.

Isabel & Diana were amazing ice cream scoopers/ cashiers. Very friendly as soon as my family and I walked in and even went above and beyond with my daughter. First time at this location and definitely recommend. Everything was spotless and clean. Thank you girls keep up the work... ask for a raise lol

So I usually love baskin robbins and how can you complain about ice cream! But something was super funky with the ice cream cake frosting that we had purchased for a friends birthday. It tasted really bad like it was rotten. Kinda weird for an ice cream cake that was like $50 to not taste good. Probably won't order a cake from this location again.

Omg I swore I'd already reviewed this Baskin Robbins giving it the FIVE stars it deserves! The actual facility itself is updated, modern with some IG "Story" worthy features. They've got a great selection of ice cream flavors and the BEST part of this place is the service. I recently ordered a fiesta themed cake for my son's COCO themed birthday and they did not fail to deliver! The cake was decorated beautifully despite not being fondant and the price point can't be beat. The ice cream even stayed frozen through the 100+ degree heat that day and was delicious! A special shoutout to Assistant Manager, Courtney! She went above and beyond in every way and was super accommodating. The cake was so great, my sister is getting my niece's cake done there too! We grew up on BR ice cream cakes and I'm so pleased the tradition will absolutely continue. Thank you SO much, Courtney!

I actually went with brown sugar cookie dough instead and both were delicious: smooth, balanced, and not overly sweet. Ice cream quality was solid -- fresh, creamy, and held its shape well. They also had pre-packaged pints and ice cream pops, which I thought was pretty neat. Service was quick and super friendly, and even the to-go bag was cute. This was especially unfortunate because I had just finished a 13-hour shift and wanted to celebrate my daughter's first-place achievement. So obviously we had to get some. Verdict - yes, it absolutely was as good as I remembered. I wouldn't go back to DTLA just for ice cream, Long Beach Creamery being walking distance and wonderful, but I would absolutely stop here if I were back in DTLA and wanted ice cream. Night time is the best time to go because service is usually more attentive. The server had time to share their top picks with us when we went, which were the Sweetie, the Dear Chocolate and Honey Affogato. Our group got all three to try. Honey Affogato: 4/5 I usually go for items with caffeine and I wanted to like it more than I actually did. It was cold and refreshing at first but the coffee tasted a little too bitter towards the bottom of the cup. Dear Chocolate: 5/5 No notes other than, it was perfection. My friend mixed the chocolate well with the soft serve, and she liked the consistency and texture. It wasn't too sweet for her either. She also did not add the sea salt Sweetie: 5/5 The honeycomb "chunk" is chewy and had a more natural taste to it, if that is what you're into! Combined with the lightness of the soft serve, the Sweetie is a solid choice for the people who are looking for sweets that are not too sweet. Overall, this is a great spot for a sweet treat. The area did get a slight upgrade from what I heard - they have a photo booth and the walls look like they've been painted over for a more vibrant yellow. They also sell merch of Honeymee tumblrs, mugs, and of course, local honey jars! Parking is challenging because this location is smack dab in the heart of Little Tokyo Village! Prices are a little bit on the higher side for the small cup they provide, but the quality of the honey does make up for it.
