This location is always friendly and works efficiently. Tonight a woman who was out of control and making a scene over paying for whip... which I had just paid for and pay for all over the place. She was aggressive and wouldn't stop talking about it and demanding prices be lowered. It was awful and uncomfortable to hear. The staff, including the owner, were polite and never rude to her. We brought our 4 nieces here for a post-Christmas treat. I was very happy with it. The woman serving us was prompt and polite, so I thought it was great customer service. Their selection of ice cream flavors was alright. They had a few classics: chocolate, cookie dough, etc. They also had some holiday themed flavors like peppermint, sweet potato pie, black walnut, etc. I got a chocolate mousse and it was amazing. I felt like they should have had more classics like fudge brownie, salted caramel, all of those types rather than so many novelty holiday flavors. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars rather than 5 stars. But overall we had a really good experience here! read more

Overall, was not impressed by my visit. Staff didn't know what they were doing. A small kids scoop is $3 - what!? It was only a few bites, so a total rip off in my opinion for ice cream that really isn't that good. This review is based on ordering an ice cream cake for a birthday. They have a great selection and are extremely flexible on the design and flavors. The customer service, ease of ordering and pick up were exceptional. Super easy and convenient. The cake was decorated exactly as we had selected from their book. Perfect! We got a cake to serve 4-6. It looked really small but once I started serving we realized it was a good size. The price was just right too. My only complaint was that we asked for cookies and cream ice cream but there was only one partial cookie in the entire cake. Not sure if it was due to size but the kids would have liked more cookies. Overall I was really impressed and I would definitely consider ordering from them again and I would recommend others to order as well. read more

Well what can I really say about Baskin-Robbins? I've been going here since I was a young lad. Not this same location, but to a variety of the franchise locations. I remember it being much more magical as a child, just like Disneyland. Ah well. It's a convenient place to get your basic ice cream scoops. It doesn't have the glitz and glamour of the new Frozen Yogurt establishments with exotic flavors, healthy options, and fresh fruit toppings, but hey, they make ice cream cake! Stopped in tonight with three kids and the great service prompted me to write a review. I mean, the ice cream is always so good but usually, you put up with teenagers' bad attitudes to get it. Also, the scoops at some locations have gotten so skimpy. Not tonight. I don't know if it was the owner or manager that helped us but he was the best. The little three year old girl I brought went straight for the "rainbow" ice cram and he was ready with a sample of cotton candy (ugh) before she could even ask. Cone and a cup? No problem. Generous scoops served with a smile. I wasn't getting any tonight having had beer for dessert instead and as I paid, he handed me a sample of Caramel Oreo, heavenly. Went in to get some coupons/gift certificates to include in the goodie bag for children attending my sons birthday party. Made it clear that I wasn't looking for hand outs and was wanting to pay for something. I was rudely greeted and the girl working seemed to be utterly annoyed with my question and did nothing to try and help me or ask for clarification. My kids and I enjoy walking up here when the weather is nice and the staff is always friendly and the business is always clean. Tonight (5/26/17 9pm) we went in and were helped by a short, young girl with a long brown ponytail in a blue t-shirt. She was SO nice and patient with my kids and never stopped smiling even when they got distracted and teary-eyed because one got toppings and the other didn't. I've worked in customer service for 15 years and manage a bar currently and I always recognize and appreciate good genuine service from someone. Another great custom designed ice cream birthday cake was designed last month by the cake designer (Jody) at this Baskin Robbins shop in Tigard. Last year it was Minecraft Creeper (excellent), this year Starwars Strorm Trooper (also excellent) Really appreciate that Jody can recreate the designs so beautifully from the photos we send.
