I'm not a fan of an ice cream parlor that weighs one scoop of ice cream nor am I a fan of the owner looking over their employees shoulders. This location also gives the least amount of ice cream in their samples, you can't really get a good taste from the small amount they give. This Baskin-Robbins is located in the same parking lot as the Von's right by the 210 Freeway. I have never had a bad experience here. All employees are friendly, helpful, and patient. If there's a slow moving line, it's because customers are taking their time. Once I actually saw a couple pay in all pennies, dimes and quarters , in year 2023. They parked their BMW next to my car so don't come at me about "hard times". The employee was so patient! The reason why I really love this location is because of their cake decorating services. I have a two year-old, and for both his birthdays we chose to get an Icecream cake. This year, he actually got to speak with their cake decorator, and someone else who coordinated the conversation to help ensure our custom cake looked exactly the way you wanted it. Their cake decorator did such a phenomenal job! I wish I had taken more pictures because my sons two later duck cake was so cute. Also, do you know how sometimes ice cream cakes just smell and taste like the freezer? definitely not the case here! The employees are so friendly and welcoming here and super patient when you don't know what flavors to get! They do provide samples, which I enjoy when I'm in between flavors! My other choice I will go with next time is the Belgian Waffle. Sampled it but wanted to try the Cookie Butter as it was their flavor of the month! Generous scoops and pricing is great in my opinion. This is by far THE WORST BR ever! I usually get prepackaged quarts and usually every other time I get one quart that is bad. Melted and then refrozen or grainy texture and gummy sticky like also. Normally when we go here they have good customer service. Tonight a girl helped me with very thin drawn eye brows and she wouldn't take my order until the register was free. Which was 5 minutes. When we walk in the two employess did not greet us and continued to talk between themselves. We ordered 4 single scoop ice creams with plain cones. I was shocked when the total was $25.56 for less than $1.00 worth of ice cream. I will never go back and I suggest that customers go to Thrifty and purchase the same ice cream for less then $8.00. I said I was never coming back here after they refused to honor gift certificates I got a year before. This was a few years ago. Well today I decided to go against my better judgement and go into get an ice cream cake for my son. I opened the freezer to get it to hear the cashier yelling behind me, "mam, mam, go ahead and close the freezer and I'll get it." The freezers are in the open for customers to go into. I didn't know I needed a degree in ice creamology to pull the cake out. Anyways, I left and went to Dairy Queen and got the same size cake that tastes much better for 20$ cheaper. They always have a bunch of flavors and the staff is really nice. However the service is lacking, sure you get the generic "welcome to (insert whatever name here)" but that's it. I've had to walk out because nobody has helped me and not because there wasn't enough staff because there were 4 people working but only 1 helping customers. Recently we were in a bit of a hurry and threw it out there to see if that would speed things up but nope! It just bounced right back so off we went.
