7040 Santa Teresa Blvd San Jose, CA 95139 This is the popular Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop at the Santa Teresa Village Shopping Center. It's located near Santa Teresa Blvd & Bernal Rd in South San Jose. I stopped by on a Tuesday night to grab a snack before the drive home. Even though it was rather chilly, I saw a steady stream of customers going to this ice cream shop. This is a fairly large place, with lots of tables. They even had little tables for small children. I took a peek at the cakes. Yikes! $39 for a cake! I stepped up and ordered my usual.....Two scoops of Jamoca (coffee) and Dark Rich Chocolate in a cup. The price is a bit higher at $8.19. Also, it seems like the cup is smaller. But the ice cream still had the familiar rich creamy texture. The young lady serving me was friendly and patient. I gave her a 20% tip. Overall a good experience and I would return. Free parking in lot.

Baskin Robbins offers consistently delicious ice cream with a great variety of flavors to choose from. The quality, taste, and presentation are always excellent. It's a wonderful place for families, friends, or anyone looking to enjoy a classic dessert done right. Friendly Delicious ice cream paired with wonderful service! Baskin Robbins never disappoints with its variety of flavors, but the friendly and helpful staff make the experience even better. They are always kind, quick, and welcoming. Every visit feels pleasant and satisfying.

Just drove into town, and my mom's 75th birthday is being celebrated today. I drove down from Reno for a weekend visit. I decided to surprise her with a cake and balloons. Stopped in at the local Baskin Robbins that was close to mom's home in San Jose. My son and I picked out an ice cream cake from the many in the ready-made freezer with chocolate cake and chocolate chip ice cream and whip cream frosting decorated with oreo cookies. I asked the counter person if they could write "Happy 75th B-DAY" on the cake. They said they could and asked if I wanted it red or blue writing. I chose blue. So we waited about 15 minutes for the counter person to write on the cake. It wasn't the best writing, but it was last minute, and I am grateful they were able to do it. The cake was really delicious! Thank you to the counter people who were working that day.

Walked here on a warm Saturday afternoon around 1:15 pm when my family was in the plaza! Only one other customer inside who was already served their ice cream, so we had the full attention of the associate there. So shocked that a single scoop ice cream was $5.19- so much inflation. Nonetheless, I got 3 single cup scoops of triple mango, Rocky road, Jacoma almond fudge. Super pleased by the taste and my family liked the flavors as well. Sweet, refreshing, but a bit too overpriced...

Just got out of the shop. Not very happy that almost everybody knows about the Capuccino Blast promotion except the only employee in the store. They have the banner posted on the window but when I asked her she just said "no, just regular price. You want it or no?" Of course I bought it anyway because the ad had made me craved it. Didn't get in my car and drive here for nothing. Paid 9.99 when its supposed to be on sale for 6 for a medium. Thank goodness it tasted good.

The good: I've been here dozens of times and enjoy that they have seasonal flavors, variety of ready-to-buy ice cream cakes, and lower calorie ice cream options. I got a Polar Pizza (an ice cream pizza cookie) for my niece from here and she enjoyed it. The cakes come in many different fun designs for every occasion. They even had a turkey-shaped ice cream cake for Thanksgiving and heart-shaped cakes for Valentine's day. I got a photo cake here as well for my parents wedding anniversary. The bad: I came once at 11:08 and the store was closed with no one inside. The worker ended up coming at 11:10 (when they're supposed to open at 11) and she told me it'd be about a 20 minute wait because she had to set-up and count the cash. The same cashier said she couldn't write happy birthday on the ice cream cake I got because she said her handwriting was bad and that she didn't learn to write on cakes much yet. I had to write on the cake myself and the icing they gave me was super hard and dried. It was already laying outside from overnight. I've tried coming here on multiple occasions before 11AM because I keep forgetting they open so late. I wish there were more flavor options with the ready-made-cakes. It's mostly just vanilla, chocolate, Oreo, strawberry and mint chip. You can get custom ice cream flavors for custom cakes. I asked for a plastic toy in their display shelf for my cake one time and the girl didn't have the key for it. She said they aren't for sale. They should be put away if they aren't for sale. The ice cream cakes are pricey. Most of their ice creams are sweeter than I'd like. I once ordered a birthday cake from here that I had to cancel so they refunded the money to my card. However, the card I purchased it with was a gift card so the credit didn't go back to anything. Instead, the owner gave me store credit but he told me to use the text he sent me as proof of it. It would have been nicer if there was a physical gift card or certificate I could have used to applied online toward a cake. The interior of the store hasn't been updated since I first went here 24 years ago. The chairs are kind of dirty and the display shelves are messy. The interesting: They recently added mangonadas to the menu.

Clock showing what time it is. They're supposed to be open at 11 AM

Once again this location is not open at 11 o'clock as stated on their website and on yelp! According to their corporate headquarters they are supposed to have their doors open from 11 AM to 10 PM.

Nostalgic flavors from my childhood in a gelato format? :)…read more I came to Marco Polo on a Friday evening and ordered two small cups for my partner and I. This is my third time at Marco Polo and it really hit the spot. The location is in Vietnam Town, on the far right side, next to Pho 90. When I went this time around, there was no lines but there were still people sitting in the store eating their desserts. Parking here can get tough because of the plaza itself so just a heads up to folks who do not frequent the area. What makes Marco Polo so special is their Asian gelato flavors that you cannot really get anywhere else (that to say a lot of places are now expanding their selections). This was the first spot where I could finally get my hands on durian gelato and it was absolutely delicious. The store itself has around 3 tables for you to sit in and is pretty bare boned. It is good for a grab and go but with the limited seating inside and outside you could spend some time here. Service is quick and you are able to try out some samples. This time around I ordered black sesame and Pandan, while my partner got mango and lychee. It was near close so they ran out of mangosteen unfortunately when I went. While the flavors were great, stood out, and were bold, I will say texturally it was a bit icey for my liking but that might have been because they started crystallizing from being out for a while. Overall, this is a small business I will continue to support!

It was definitely noticeable in the soft serve and made everyone else around us notice it too. The soft serve was smooth and creamy, not icy like cafeteria quality soft serve. It didn't taste like there was only durian essence mixed in, it tasted like there was actually durian blended into a smooth cream that is then frozen and swirled into this nice frozen delight. The ambiance of the shop was cool too. It had a giant mural like painting of a big soft serve in a cone for photo ops and the colors were painted light with blues and pastels for a calming vibe inside the shop. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, and I really liked the decorations inside. It is a comfortable place to sit, chat, and hang out with friends. Our group ordered the avocado smoothie, soursop green tea, and durian soy pudding. The durian soy pudding had that distinct durian smell, but the soy pudding made the overall flavor a little bland. The ratio might have been slightly off. Two of my friends ordered the avocado smoothie and thought it was okay, but they wished it had a stronger avocado flavor. The appetizers were the highlight for me. The popcorn chicken was definitely the best item we tried, and the curly fries were also good. We also ordered a combo with fried fish balls, lobster balls, and fried tofu. It was decent, but nothing really stood out. They have a large menu with several items that caught my attention, so I plan to try something different during my next visit. Overall, Sweet Corner is a nice place to relax and catch up with friends, with good snacks and plenty of drink and dessert options.

It's an interesting blend that kind of works, even if it takes a second to figure out what the "theme" is supposed to be. They offer a wide range of desserts and drinks. On one side, you've got items like tartufo (chocolate, cappuccino, limoncello, pistachio), sorbets, and cheesecake slices in the display case. On the other side, they have traditional Vietnamese-style desserts like sweet soups (chè), grass jelly, black-eyed bean pudding, and combo desserts with things like cassava, jelly, and coconut. There's also a solid drink menu with milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, and specialty coffees. I ordered the latte with matcha foam, and while I don't usually go for sweet drinks, this one was definitely on the sweeter side--but still really good. The matcha foam added a nice earthy balance to the coffee underneath. My friend got the three-color iced drink (the one with layered beans and jelly), and if you're into that texture and flavor profile, you'd probably enjoy it. The service stood out. The man helping us (possibly the owner) was very friendly, patient, and took the time to explain menu items, which I appreciated since some of the desserts aren't as familiar if you haven't had them before. The display case also looked well-stocked and clean, with everything neatly packaged and labeled, which made it easy to browse. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're in the area and want something a little different from the usual dessert shops. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is because the concept feels slightly all over the place, but the quality, variety, and service definitely make it worth checking out.
