This Baskin Robbins is located in a large shopping center with plenty of parking. We frequent this ice cream parlor more in the summer, hence our visit today since it is summer like weather. I didn't count the ice cream choices but the two cases were full of so many choices. They have many different dietary options as well. We usually get the no sugar added pineapple coconut. It is so creamy and delightful. Tonight they only had the no sugar added caramel turtle bar ice cream which is also good. My favorite full sugar choice is the baseball nut flavor. Almost baseball season, yay! The ice cream servers usually greet us when we come in. Some seem to enjoy serving ice cream more than others. I had friends in high school that worked at a 31 flavors and they loved it! It was a front-row seat to humanity -- first dates, breakups, baseball teams celebrating, toddlers choosing independence with sprinkles. This Baskin Robins offers the same variety of ice cream and the inside is always clean. It's packed and you get teenagers working here but all of them are really nice. Ava said welcome when we walked into the store. She has the patience of a Saint especially when people can't make up their mind, or they want samples but really don't want to buy the ice cream. She cleans as do the other girls although she seems more responsible. She's efficient and quick. This store is nice but has no restroom. The worst customer service at this location. I am a frequent Baskin Robbins customer and just moved out here in Santa Clarita and this is my fourth visit at this location and it is always disappointing. These young employees are miserable working there and do the minimal. One visit, I had to return my Cappuccino blasts (I guess now called Cappy) because they were tasteless. Too milky no coffee flavor. Another time, a guy I had not seen before took our order and our scoops were smaller than a kids scoop. I had to say something and his response was oh I thought you asked for a kids scoop. That's a lie because he had already charged us for a regular size scoop. I've also ordered a polar pizza and it didn't have enough ice cream. (See picture) I'm not returning here. I started going to the one on Lyons and yes they are really nice there. They have a variety of toppings you can add on to your ice cream and delicious flavor creations to choose from. The service was quick and the staff were nice. I was in a couple weeks ago, James was so friendly and patient, he offered great recommendations and samples. I came in about 15 minutes before closing with my family, by the time we were leaving it was 10pm, this extremely rude woman came in and gave the young woman behind the counter such a hard time, James stepped in, he was so calm, politely declined service due to closing and continued his work. Walked in at 9:59 PM to an ice cream shop that closes at 10:00 PM and was told I couldn't be helped because they "don't make milkshakes after 9:30." This was not posted anywhere. At the same time, a full family was inside being served. When I pointed this out, "James" explained they were being helped because they arrived before 9:50 -- yet another cutoff that isn't communicated to customers. The two employees on duty, "Alia" and "James", were clearly unhappy that I walked in, gave me uncomfortable looks, and made it obvious my presence was an inconvenience. The issue wasn't closing time -- it was inconsistent service and attitude. Translation: They were still open, but service depended on who they felt like helping. If a business has multiple cutoffs and exceptions, they need to be clearly posted and applied consistently. Customers should not be made to feel unwelcome for entering during posted business hours. A business that selectively serves customers before closing should reconsider its hours -- or its staff training. read more

I have been a loyal follower, supporting this location for past 20 years, with my beautiful wife and 4 kids. It's always time for a delicious treat, and this location is always a sweet destination. Probably the worst experience we've had at a Baskin Robbins. Adeline was helping us and she was rude and had poor demeanor. We simply asked her to put the peanuts for our sundae on top of the hot fudge, but I guess that was just too complicated of a task for her. On top of that she overcharged us, but fortunately caught it while we were still there. This place was busy when we went so clearly they don't normally have customer service issues. Very disappointing experience. I'd reconsider working in customer service if you can't be the slightest bit pleasant to ALL customers. read more

Very disappointed! This place is usually our go to spot for my usual banana royal with the hot fudge. The last 3 times they've ran out of hot fudge and it wasn't even close to their closing time. I only have one problem though, one time I went there with some friends and I got a Carmel Oreo something and OMG that ice cream was like a poison for my body it gave me a huge migraine not because of brain freezes but because of how strong it was. One scoop is always enough. I am not a huge fan of this type is ice cream. I prefer Froyo or boba nowadays. My friends wanted 21 flavors, so we ended up here. I have developed this taste & smell disorder called Parosmia post Covid. The virus damaged my nerves and I am unable to like anything with butter, milk, yogurt or with cream. I decided to go and try some samples but they still aren't doing any samples at this time. So ordering was a risk for me. I know that I can tolerate and still enjoy coconut. So I had a scoop of the pineapple coconut and it was safe! It was apparently one of the best flavors that night.
