    Ice cream flavors

My wife and I stopped by here after dinner because she wanted some ice crcream. When we first arrived they had a line outside the door which surprised me because it brought back memories of covid lockdown time. But the line was due to the store being very small and there were people inside already. So we walked around the plaza and let the line calm down. When we came back 5 minutes later, there was no line so we walked in and my wife got her rocky road ice cream in a cone. The price wasn't so bad and you get a decent scoop of ice cream so she was happy. The parking here won't be an issue because it's in a big parking lot.

Came here specifically for an ice cream cake. The man helping me was really nice and the cake was fresh and delicious. Overall a great Baskin Robbins location - easy parking, nice staff, good ice cream!

    Cappuccino blast! Love it :)

Best place to order your cakes and ice cream. Katherine("Kathy) is very friendly and detailed and gives you the best customer service. The place is clean and all the staffs are very nice. I definitely come back since they have overall excellent service and selection

Came in the store and started to look around at what was available and did realize a "make shift" line had started to form so needed to get in line behind others that came in after us. No biggie considering I'm in vacay, some people may not appreciate it. The staff was friendly the store was clean and overall busy. It appeared part of their ice cream freezer was down but the had the other flavors stacked in the one so they had them you just needed to ask for the flavors. A sign would have been good to let everyone know that those flavors were available.

    Yummy

My favorite place to get ice cream!! I either get the brownie sundae ( that's huge ) or the chocolate fudge ice cream. OMG they are so good oh and also there vanilla milkshakes are the bomb!!!! I've never entered there store and not been greeted or had a bad experience. The staff is always nice and friendly and they work really fast I have never had to wait in line a long time. LOVE you baskin robbins!!!

I'll have to go back soon to confirm that because lately I've been craving the sweet, decadent taste of their homemade apple-flavored ice cream accompanied by crunchy cinnamon pieces and an "applesauce ripple." I've been to Handel's a handful of times, and there is usually a fairly busy line, but it moves pretty fast. They don't skimp on portions, nor is the presentation ever sloppy, no matter how busy they are. Considering the generous portions, I was pleasantly surprised by the price. Definitely less expensive than Cold Stone or Ben & Jerry's, and the quality is - dare I say - on par or even better?! Also, if you ever have to go to the urgent care off Pass Avenue, one silver lining is that Handel's is *literally* right next-door to the urgent care! If there's a long wait, take advantage of it, and pop next door for a scoop of ice cream or a banana split! Or if you have a child who needs some bribing or a post-appointment reward, Handel's can handle that for you! Parking is plentiful, but keep in mind that there is a Starbucks and a 24-hour Vons in the same parking lot, so certain times of day will be busier than others, and some people are bad at heeding the one-way arrows down most of the rows. If you go to Handel's soon and they still have Deep Dish Apple Pie on their menu, I highly recommend it!

My daughter got a single scoop of O Dough (cookies and cream and cookie dough) and a waffle cone and paid more than $8. She liked it. Hubby and I shared a 4-scoop special that cost about the same. I loved both of my flavors: mocha almond fudge ripple and Rocky Road. Hubby gave a thumbs up to his pretzel and cookie dough, sweet, the way he likes it. His vanilla caramel brownie got an "it was OK."

I wander into Slusheeland and clock the menu, lots of fresh fruits and an overwhelming assortment of drinks and offerings. It's like a boba shop but with the OG Mexican flare of juices and street snack delights! I have to watch my sugar intake as I gotta get me new years new you beach bod going. Instead of a sweet treat I went with the snackiest of snacks the Tostilocos with mango subbed for pork rinds and no Clamato! Vegan Friendly FTW! Service was amazing and everyone was wonderful! Like it's rare getting quality service like this and they are dialed in!!!! Let's talk about the vegan style Tostilocos I just watched them prepare... This is some sophisticated snackage I really went buck wild on this offering that seems more like a wild craving of the pregnancy kind BUT IT WORKS!!! Sweet, savory, salty, tangy, spicy, crunchy tender chunks of fresh mango and crisp jicama. It hits every tastebud and nearly every texture in a crazy accomplishment of delight! It was perfection and basically delivered the food pyramid in one snack! Needless to say next time I'm in the area I'm getting this again!

The location is very small, and there is no inside seating; rather, it is all outside. There's always only two people working, which is odd because the place gets really busy and wait times are long and extreme. I usually come and order iced cafe de olla because it is so good here, and I've waited up to 30 minutes just to get my drink. Today I only waited about 5, which is a miracle, but it can get bad and quick, so it is important to keep that in mind, and maybe they should consider keeping it at 3 staff members. Besides that, the snacks and drinks here are pretty good, and I can't complain about the cafe de olla; it always hits the spot! I do recommend this spot for someone looking for a sweet treat, but do keep in mind the wait, and it is pricier than other places.

I have been ruined for any other ice cream solely due to how AMAZING McConnell's is!…read more If you are like me, ice cream is a pleasure enjoyed every once in a while. I would like it every day but my doctor would probably have some words for me if I did. So when I actually do get ice cream, I want the best. And let me tell you, McConnell's is the best in my opinion. I would describe the ice cream here as being made with the freshest ingredients you could imagine. They have an assortment of interesting flavors to choose from. The staff is more than happy to offer you samples so you can pick your favorite, but always stick to my go-to flavors, which never disappoint. First is one of their original flavors, Eureka Lemon and Marionberries. It tastes like Italy in your mouth. It's sweet and light from the ice cream base but also tart and flavorful from the lemon and marionberry notes. My second flavor, and probably my number one if I had to choose, is their coffee ice cream. When I tell you, I crave this stuff, I mean it! I've had plenty of coffee ice creams in my day but this one is perfection. It has a strong coffee flavor that isn't overpowered by the sweetness and it's got little specks of coffee grind in it which is like a surprise for the palate. You wouldn't think these two flavors go well together, but they really do! I always get myself a double scoop (which is actually four scoops). So if you order a double you can actually get four different flavors. I always get it in a cup with a sugar cone on top. It's the perfect treat. They also offer some baked goods like brownies where you make sundaes with them. And while I normally think a brownie would enhance the ice cream experience, here I believe the ice cream is the star and you shouldn't ruin it! Now on to the negatives, and there aren't many. It's on the more expensive side for ice cream. But again, you are getting a premium quality product and I personally don't mind paying a little more for something I feel reflects the value. And while the ice cream here is the best, the parking is not the best. You can get lucky and find metered street parking but because there are so many popular businesses on this strip, it's usually pretty crowded. If you are willing to walk a little bit, you can usually find parking in the neighborhood behind the businesses. Or, and I didn't tell you this, you can park in the large Von's parking lot on the other side of Laurel Canyon and take the short walk over. That's actually probably the best option to get that exercise in before devouring your ice cream anyway!
