First time visitor during a very hot weekend in Tulsa…read more I ordered the Hokkaido Milk soft serve with Taiyaki. It was a good size serving and you get whatever topping you want for free (yay sprinkles!). The Taiyaki had the right amount of chewiness and crispiness. The Hokkaido Milk flavor was just sweet enough, with hints of coconut. You get a lot of soft serve and the Taiyaki is big enough so that I could eat it with most of my soft serve. Definitely would order this again. But there's the thing. If you take it outside, your soft serve is going to disintegrate. It just will, because the heat in Oklahoma is stronger. I ran back inside and they gave me a bigger cup, in which I placed my original cup, saving what was left of my dessert. I probably would request a larger cup for this purpose alone, knowing what I know now. The workers were helpful and friendly. I especially appreciated their willingness to answer questions about my order. There are places to sit, and I think it would be good for individuals, pairs, and very small groups (4 max). Usually, I don't use the restroom in public establishments. It was decent. All in all, if and when I come back, I will stay inside to avoid the heat attacking my dessert.

Stopped in from out of town, since I have a local taiyaki store that I love. Was let down with…read moreKremee - first they don't offer very many flavors, and even creme and chocolate which are pretty typical flavors, second the taiyaki was pretty thin and my nutella had almost no filling, additionally the red bean was unlike any red bean I've had, it had a fruity/nutty taste and a pretty odd color. They were pretty nice and crispy which was nice. Overall I probably won't be back unless they add more flavors to try out.

Instead of a simple greeting like "Welcome to Sonic," I was bluntly hit with "What do you want?" over the speaker. No courtesy, no professionalism--just attitude. I let it go and said I had a mobile order for Larry, only to be told "pull forward" in a rude, demanding tone. It didn't get better. When my food came out, the employee practically shoved the bags into my face--aggressive and completely unnecessary. At that point, it was clear this wasn't just a bad moment; it was a complete lack of basic customer service. I called the store to speak with a manager, hoping to resolve the issue. Instead, I got even more unprofessional behavior. The manager dismissed the situation with "I'm not the one who did that." That's not the point--you're the manager, and it's your responsibility to address how customers are treated. When I pressed the issue, she escalated things further by cussing at me over the phone. Completely unacceptable. I've already filed a formal complaint with corporate, but given that complaints appear to be outsourced and handled with little accountability, I'm not holding my breath. If this is the standard of service at this location, customers should seriously consider going elsewhere. Respect costs nothing--and this place seems unwilling to offer even that.

Inside, the shop has a lot of cute seating areas, both indoors and outdoors. They also offer a fun variety of flavors. I ordered a small cup of the honeycomb lavender ice cream, which came with a free waffle chip. They also have cones, flavored cones, and other options if you want something a little more elaborate. The ice cream itself was very creamy and delicious. I would have loved to have some actual chunks of honeycomb mixed in, but the honeycomb flavor still came through nicely, and there was a swirl in the ice cream that added to it. Overall, it was a really delicious scoop and felt well worth it. I visited on a Thursday afternoon around 3:00 p.m., and it was already fairly busy with families, moms, and young kids. I imagine it gets even busier in the evenings, especially during the summer after dinner. Overall, it is a neighborhood-friendly spot with great ice cream and a fun neighborhood feel.

Our family ordered: the BootDaddy Concrete, Snowmonster Concrete, Butter Pecan Concrete, James Brownie Funky Jackhammer, Rico Suave Jackhammer, Tin Roof Sundae, and a kid's sundae with strawberry topping. It is rare that I will eat frozen custard, and I will usually order the smallest size because I try to watch my caloric intake. I ordered the Butter Pecan Concrete, and it was so delicious that I ate the entire thing. My family was amazed! It was thick, creamy, not too sweet, with the buttery, roasted pecans. I could eat those pecans all day long! Next time, I would like to try the root beer float.

For those of you wondering why there's so many businesses using the Michoacana name, it's because the state of Michoacán is credited as being the origin of paletas (popsicle) and their popularization. A core tenant is using fresh fruits and natural ingredients, so I feel better when I opt for this healthier snacks. I think this particular brand has two or three locations in Tulsa. Since they just opened, everything is shiny and new. The place looks super clean and there's seating available inside. I wish they had a printed menu to see all available snacks in one place, but they seem to have the regular offerings. Thankfully, I'm familiar with them but I can see it being harder to order for someone who is not. They have a rolling menu with pictures on a couple of screens, so you can always use that to make a decision. The lady working was nice and helpful too. Among their savory offerings: prepared chips like Tostilocos (including lots of toppings like peanuts and chamoy), elote (corn cup with mayo, cotija cheese, and chili), nachos, and chicharrones (crispy, deep-fried pork rinds seasoned with chili and lime). Among their sweet offerings: aguas frescas (including Jamaica, horchata, pecan, watermelon and cantaloupe), mangonadas, ice cream, fruit cups, and popsicles. The cherry on top is that they have Don Deli cookies, a Mexican bakery with a distributor in San Antonio. Their butter, cinnamon and wedding cookies are legit. If you get the elote and like it spicy, don't miss adding their salsa macha (thick fried dried chilies and garlic in olive oil and seasoning with salt). It's so good!
