Ooh this place has so much variety of flavors and waffle cones, I was deliberating between the Brie and wallhit flavors but then saw my favorite rocky road flavor, so I had a single cake cone of it but they were generous and gave me more. I was kind of in a rush to go to another place to eat and I was in and out of the place in no time. Staff was friendly and fast. I would come back just to hang and have a social hangout. The place is bright inside with lots of lighting and seating. I wonder why ice cream places are always bright? Check this place out! Free parking in the area if you purchase something. Lured in with free cookie dough pizza sample and then also discovered we had a BOGO coupon as well so we got our favorite cone to cool off with on a hot day. When in Tosa and happen to stop in here, I always get jamocha fudge (because what's better than coffee & chocolate?) in a sugar cone. I chose the Oreo cookie dough sample as well. Although one of my favorite things about this place is how amazing it smells, we opted to sit outside and enjoy the warm weather. That ended up not being the smartest idea with two ice cream products but I'm sure we were entertaining to watch as we tried to keep up with the drips as they melted down the cone! The service here is always friendly and the ice cream is always tasty. BR offers 31 flavors - as advertised- but I've only tasted about 3, all chocolate flavors of course. The prices are very reasonable but I always try to take advantage of special promotions & free birthday scoops. I LOVE Baskin Robbins but when I went to the location in Sussex yesterday- I had the worst experience!!! There was an employee in the bathroom forever so when he came out I went in and there was NO soap to wash your hands properly. So then I went to get some ice cream before leaving and I asked for a sample of something and the girl employee said no samples (I was blown away!!!) so I ordered the kind I wanted and she rang me up and as she was ringing me up she said well that kind is really frozen so I don't know if I can get that for you? I wish I made air fresheners for a living, because if I did, my first new scent would be the smell that wafts into your nose when you open up the door to a Baskin Robbins. That smell, the smell of hot fudge, waffle cones and ripe bananas takes me back to my Dad taking us out for ice cream when I was a kid. Now the store in the old neighborhood has been gone for more than a decade, with other stores in the area closing one by one. This location is the last of a dying breed, and it has another frozen dessert place literally yards from its doors, waiting for it to die. This place should never die. 31 Flavors is a relic to the past that actually holds up in the present day. So many delicious flavors to choose from, it's a good thing they still give out free tastes if you can't make up your mind. The ice cream is still the way it was back then, rich and gooey. It's still the best scoop ice cream out there. This location shouldn't be discounted, it not one of those part time Baskins that doubles as a Dunkin Donuts or a sandwich shop. It's a full time Baskins, complete with Banana splits, sundaes, shakes, malts, quarts and ice cream cakes. About the only thing they don't have anymore are those crazy ice cream cone clowns, but I'm sure they would make you one if you asked nicely. This location, while small, is clean and updated. The staff is very nice, acknowledging my baby when we came in, but seeing that she was having nap time she was careful not to disturb her. This trip I came in for my free birthday scoop (yes, they still do that, except you sign up by email now). Rocky road, as always, another delicious end to a great trip. read more

Color me surprised when I realized they removed the 31 flavors from their name. Color me more surprised when I discovered they not only still have 31 flavors but also a monthly special so make that 32. Unfortunately, my nostalgic pining for it's lost name did not make up for the absolutely generic ice cream this brand puts out. Sure, back when trapper keepers and pinned jeans were all the rage, BR was the only place in town. Now in the land of super premium ice cream, craft ice cream, fro yo, and so on, BR simply doesn't stand out. We came in for National Ice Cream Day yesterday, July 19th. We were very surprised that there was no special, not even a mention of this sacred holiday! They of course had 31 flavors, and I chose Bananas Foster. It was heavenly. Banana flavored ice cream with caramel swirl and pecan pralines throughout. SO GOOD! Joe always sticks to his go-to, Chocolate Chip. I wanted a bottle of pop, but the cooler that the 4-5 bottles were sitting in wasn't plugged in, and what I assume used to be ice was just a pool of warm water. Not that hard to keep up... Also the teenage girl working was just a bump on a log. She seriously couldn't have made us feel more like we were putting her out. She literally said "what do you want" to Joe as he made his way to the counter, not a thank you or anything. Don't work in customer service if you hate people... simple. Ice cream was good, but the young immature staff leave little to be desired. After taking a customer phone call the girl walks over to a co - worker and immediately complains about how annoying they were and makes fun of them. Not really fun to listen to when you are trying to enjoy yourself. It didn't look like they had any supervision either. The ice cream is very good, with many options for toppings. The prices I say are fair. It is very clean and in a prime location.

As much as I enjoy Baskin Robbins, the service at this location on this particular visit was worse than horrible. Sydney, I believe her name was, never greeted us, and instead left us waiting there for 2 or 3 minutes as she dried out a mixing bowl. Her young African American coworker never acknowleged us either, but instead decided he would rather unwrap his subway sandwich and take a bite, opposed to doing his job. Then, after Sydney finished drying her bowl, she didn't ask us how we were, what we would like, etc. Instead she stared at us with blank eyes waiting for our order as she smacked her lips together chewing gum. My wife told her what she wanted, and Sydney obliged with the same enthusiasm any seemingly 17-year-old would, that is to say as if it was a bother to her personally. Afterwards, she failed to ask me what I would like, again standing there staring off into space bothered that she had to help us. I asked for 3 scoops in a dish, and watched as she scooped my treats while still smacking her lips with gum. All i could do is imagine how much spit was dripping into the ice cream as she chewed. I have been in food service my entire life, and the customer service and food sanitation on this visit was horrible. Whoever is the manager needs to train their staff correctly. It is simple- greet your customers, dont chew gum, I dont think that is too much to ask. We will not be back. read more

Went here for the first time on 7/10/15, and it is a cute little ice cream shop in Wauwatosa. We went on a Thursday evening, so the parking wasn't bad, and the line wasn't long. Ordered a nutty coconut with a dip cake cone with frosting, and it was delicious. The cone had chocolate inside. Baskin Robbins has been around for quite a long time and it's nice to know they still exist! (Although at least one location has closed down in the last 5 years or so) They have some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted. The selection is amazing; they now offer ice cream and coffee drinks to go along with their ice cream and ice cream cake offerings (I prefer the mint chocolate chip concoctions, myself)! The shoppe also has seating available should you decide to "go out for an ice cream" with your loved ones, but as in all ice cream shoppes they're incredibly small tables. The only downside to this particular location is the mess outside. I swear, every time I go there, they have stacks upon stacks of pizza boxes from the nearby Little Ceasar's in and outside their trash bin. It's unsightly, to say the least. I'm not sure if it's out of spite that they just don't clean it (because it's from LC's customers) or what, but it shouldn't matter.
