For some shoppers I would be careful. I have some friends who won't go into stores with this mandate in place. I contemplated this. In the end I decided to just go buy my candles. The ladies in the store were very friendly and happy to help me spend money:) they were very gracious with a coupon I had as well. I always enjoy walking out of BBW and felling like I got a great deal.

She was looking for a product under the display, and rather than walking over to us, he shouted at her. He didn't try to help, and his actions were meant solely embarrass. I would have made a purchase, but because of his rudeness, we walked out. Manners matter, and that sales associate poorly represented his coworkers. Shame on him.

I've missed having a convenient location for years since the old Rio location closed. The next closest stand-alone one is in Milestone in Germantown, which isn't wildly far away, but they sometimes seem to have supply issues for certain scents.* This new location in Downtown Crown is near Sephora, across from Coastal Flats and next to the old Zagg storefront (which moved over by UPS). There is a strip of 30 minute street parking available in front, or the garage around the bend from Ruth's Chris if you don't want to fight for space in the surface lot by the Harris Teeter haha I checked online to make sure the scents I was interested in would be in stock (assuming the corporate website was accurate) and headed in for the soap and sanitizer sale they had today. It is such a thoughtfully laid out location, and to say they had plentiful supplies of every type of item is an understatement! Everyone was friendly, and helpful, and when there wasn't any of the vanilla sanitizer out, they voluntarily checked their storage in front and back, and made sure to put more out by rearranging the display. This is the kind of location that will get me in the door more often than I should shop for some of these things, but it was such a joy compared to more stressful times I've had in mall locations, etc. [*Germantown tangent: I had been looking for travel sized Warm Vanilla Sugar all last fall/winter there and they never had it despite having tons of like 3 scents. To my surprise it was offered for store pick-up if I ordered ahead, so that's what I did. They actually never had it, and they game me a full size one for the price of travel instead. This Bath & Body Works is near the huge children's play pin and where Santa & The Easter Bunny picture taking would be. Since the mall is now at about 70% closed, this store is still going strong for now. Like the few and the proud store's still sticking it out, Bath & Body Works is one of these stores. The manager of the store appears to be of Hispanic decent. I heard her tell one of her employees work on his Spanish. Giving off the impression she wants all of her employees to speak her native language. I think this because of the tone in her voice to her employees. The employees were mostly Hispanic, but them seemed to be in good spirits. Until I started talking to one of them. Then I saw a different side to one of them. It seemed the standard level of civility begins and ends with ringing people up. Anything else is the middle finger. I wonder if the last guest she had helped was still on her mind, because her, another employee and the manager were at the cash register trying to help the female guest. Mmm, I guess I will chalk this up to a one time fluke. I ended up buying 5 hand sanitizers for $8 bucks. I like mixing these hand sanitizers with my non-scented hand sanitizer. My current hand sanitizer is now a light Teal color. I use these small bottles of hand sanitizer to turn a 8oz bottle of hand sanitizer in to whatever color and smell of the small Bath and Body Works sanitizer bottles I buy. The store isn't as jammed packed as other B&BW locations; they didn't have the lemon kitchen soap and other scents. They primarily have the white barn selection only at this location. Their candles are soy based and have a wooden wick so it's not toxic for you compared to other candle brands. There is a smell for everyone; they have floral smells, sweet smells, fresh scents, and they even had Halloween scents.
