This is a poorly run BBW store! The employees never know what the deals are and give wrong information. BBW was having a buy 3, get 1 free on body care and told me the scent I wanted was not a part of the promotion. When I got home, I looked it up online and indeed it was. This promotion was valid both online and in-store! I went back to the store and spoke w/ the manager. She acknowledged their mistake, but didn't seem to care. With that kind of attitude, you're going to be losing sales. I will never buy from this location again. read more

It was time for a refill on the Bath & Body Works hand soap - unfortunately Bath & Body Works does not offer soap refills for their soaps. It's kind of annoying from an environmental perspective - if you like their soap - you have to keep throwing out the pump bottles and buy a new one. I think I am going to have to start looking at the competition for an alternative - one that does offer a way to buy a large refill. I picked up the Tropical Passionfruit, Sparkling Peach, and Coconut Lime Verbena hand soaps. I really like the way the store smells! I mentioned to the cashier about my gripe - she agreed they should offer refills. She recommended I contact the corporate office to communicate my views on this - I had already done so - over a month ago - no response thus far. read more

Bath and Body Works is always great with the scents, the lotions, the soaps, and the candles! The staff is polite and attentive, and the store is clean and tidy. I came here Saturday, December 1st and they had a HUGE 3-wick candle sale. 1 candle for 8.95!!! They are usually $24.95! This is a bigger sale than their Black Friday sale (buy 3 and get 3 free-which makes them ~$12.49 per candle! Almost everyone I saw in the mall had a bath and body works bag and the store was crazy crowded. It took me ~20 minutes to get through the line. Also, the store was amuck with candles misplaced and many counters bare...but this is out of the norm. I've had decent experiences shopping here, but wasn't typically blown away with their customer service or disappointed. It's very average and very hit or miss! read more

Polite staff. Well organized and clean store. I strolled in here recently because I saw so many people inside. Come to discover they were having their mid-year sale. Fragranced lotions boiled down to be 3 for $10 or $3.33 a piece (75% off). I picked up 3 frangranced lotions. They are great after a workout and shower at the gym. Something light that smells nice, not overwhelming. I was never a fan of the fragrance sprays. They don't last. I may go back and stock up on a few more. 3 for $10, not bad. The fragrance sets make great gifts. They also sell candles and items for guys. read more

While running around the mall doing last minute shopping, I noticed all the bright and colorful bottles in the store. Gone are the vintage scents like Cucumber Melon. The super duper friendly staff member told me that she remembered trying that scent when she was a child! Hmmm I am old. They always host some sort of special. Today it was buy 3 get 2 free. Yes, they are a tad pricier than Dial soap but the variety of scents is so overwhelming! It's like the Disneyland of soap and lotions. The names are no longer obvious. I purchased Hello Again! Not sure of the scent but the packaging drew me to the shelf. This place is always fun. They have free gift wrapping and the staff is quite knowledgable even with vintage scents. read more

I feel like every time I come here no sales associate EVER wants to greet me or even ask if I need to be helped when I'm clearly in the same d*mn section for the past 10-15 minutes. Perfect example of this was yesterday. I came here to buy some wallflowers and was in the home section or whatever it is for a good 10-20 minutes deciding on scents. There this was one particular sales associate who was clearly stocking or doing whatever the hell she was doing not even offering if I needed any assistance. Whatever-- only reason I keep coming back to this particular store is that it's close to my house and it's convenient. If it wasn't for the sales, I wouldn't come here on the regular. I came here for a sale. The lotions and soaps were at a good price but when I came here another time with my mom and her friends, I caught the employees giving us a bad look. They weren't speaking in English so maybe that was it? Also, my mom was ignored by the employees when she was clearly ahead of someone else in line. A woman who came after her was about to be served first, but when my mom complained about this, they gave each other a look. I was not happy with how the employees treated us at all. This also happened in January when I went for the New Years sale! They were soooooo rude! I will not be shopping here again. Their products have artificial ingredients in them that are in the long run, bad for your skin and overall health. read more

Bath & body works , Fair Oaks Mall. is a very nice store, I have been shopping in this store for at least seven years. But this very time when the usual 75% sale was going on. On the sunday before the 75% sales ended after christmas of 2014, I got to the store at about 5.55pm and one the gates to the store was closed and the other half way closed, And they won't let me in, I asked what time the store closes and I was told 6.00 when I looked at my cell phone it was 5.55pm. I quickly asked for the manager and fortunately she was right by the gate, her name is Carolyn, I said to her it's 5.55pm why is the store closed? She replied to me, 'my computer says 6.00pm" so i asked to see her computer and she decline and she did not let me in. That was a very bad customer service. read more

My friend and I were misguided by poorly marked sale signs. We went to check out with our items, and When I saw the price I asked why it was so expensive because there were signs saying half off everywhere. A worker proceeded to come out and very rudely raised her voice and said that I misread the seemingly straightforward sale sign. My friend and I were both astonished by her actions we put our things down and left without purchasing anything even though we both had gift cards. I never thought this would happen in this store because it is usually a lovely experience, but not this time. read more

I decided to take advantage of the sale at this Bath & Body Works place/location inside of the Fair Oaks mall (in Fairfax Virginia)after noticing that they were having a sale and I have previously enjoyed a multiple number of Bath & Body Works products before. I have shopped at Bath & Body Works from time to time since the 2006/2007 timeframe when my husband and I were living in Mayport Florida and I have sometimes shopped at some of the different Bath & Body Works locations in the metropolitan D.C. area since May 2010. The employee who noticed my husband and I looking around made sure that we found everything fine and the cashier who handled my order was also very cheerful and kind. These are the items that I selected/chose as part of Bath & Body Works semi annual sale; Sweet Escape Strawberry Picnic bodycream, Bourbon & Strawberry Vanilla bodyspray, Champagne Apple & Honey bodycream, Twisted Pepper Mint bodyspray, 2 Japanese Cherry Blossom bodysprays, and one Japanese Cherry Blossom bodycream. I admit that it was an easy decision to choose the Japanese Cherry Blossom brand among some of my purchases because it has been one of my favorite Bath & Body works products since around the 2006/2007 timeframe. read more

AMAZING STORE!! :D Visiting from Kansas. They had fantastic customer service and products. In the other customers past responses they claim the they wouldn't let them in before they closed, but as any retail employee would understand it is very irritating to let customers in right as you're closing, as it takes a while to close down a store and clean and refill everything (I work in retail at my home, and it is difficult), so this is completely understandable. during this experience I got everything I needed and everybody was very nice to me! I felt very welcome, and will most definitely be visiting next time I come to Virginia. read more
