This is also where I get teachers gifts, group gifts, party gifts, etc. I mostly buy body wash, lotion & body spray, but their candles smell amazing & the car fresheners too! Good variety of scents too. There's always enough friendly, upbeat & helpful employees. The store is neat, organized, well laid out & made to highlight certain areas. They keep some popular base scents year round and change scents seasonally. Online ordering is easy & can be picked up in store to avoid shipping costs. Located between VS & Sephora. Let's talk scents...Gingham Gorgeous, Champagne Toast, Bali Mango, At the Beach, (Ocean for men) are some of my faves. Shopping in Kapolei, Oahu, Hawaii... When I went to the Ala Moana location of Bath & Body with Irene, we found out that the cute rabbit bag was sold out. She looked online and saw that the Ka Makana Ali'i store still had some rabbit bags! I guess I wasn't quick enough because when I got to Kapolei in a couple of days later, they were sold out of rabbit bags. Arggg!!! They were also sold out of the rabbit socks and mini hand sanitizer holders. Gee... some items in the Easter 2025 collection are really popular! Oh, well... since I was there, I looked at other items, washed my hands with the various fragranced soaps at the sink, and tried some hand creams. I even bought some hand soaps that were on sale at 5 for $27. I remembered to get the free cellophane gift bags and ribbons at the cashier for each soap... and I even got ribbons for the hand soaps that I purchased at Ala Moana because they had run bout of ribbon! You know why I come here? Because who doesn't love to be buttered up with beautiful scents! I love coming to this location because the workers are super helpful. They have a pretty good selection of items too. If you have no time (but wish you did) like me, you can order on the app/site and just pick up your order. I go CRAZY when they have a sale. I once walked out with a 15 lb bag of hand soaps. (That was 3 days ago, but come on! The hands soups were on sale for $3.50!) This is my favorite spot to get gifts and giveaways for my organization. They have great products that anyone can use. My favorite products are the room sprays, lotions and hand wash. So listen up boys. If you have no idea what to get your mom, girl friend or ever your bromance bro, come here and grab hand sanitizers, lotions or even some aromatherapy oil mists. If you are in trouble from your other half for being a slob, grab the plug in air fresheners and it will instantly smell like fresh linen in that room (this only works if you get the scent called "fresh linen" and actually make an effort pick up after yourself. Just saying). Overall, this location has always had the products and scents that I love. The workers are helpful and really know the products. My last visit I was browsing and one of the staff members asked if I needed help. I told her I was picking up my online order, but decided to browse first. I loved how well stock this store was and stayed a little longer than anticipated because of the all the different varieties. As a result, I ended up spending more than I thought! What I didn't love was the "so-so" customer service that surprisingly seemed bland compared to the other times I've been to other Bath and Body work locations. I was there a little past opening and it felt they had more workers there than customers. At first I was greeted, but was not told what type of deals they had that day. I didn't realize they had a "buy 3 get 1 free" deal going on nor where there signs to advertise this. I only purchased 5 things in total and would've purchased more to utilize the deal if I had known sooner. I was pretty much left alone the entire time after that initial greeting. read more

This B&B location is located at the Ka Makana Ali'i Mall. It is on the west side of the mall behind Moani on the side of 24 Hour Fitness. I came in to pick up an online order that I made and was very happy that it was ready quickly. The employees here are very friendly and always immediately greet you when you walk into the entrance. They are also very helpful. The cashier who assisted me was awesome and very welcoming. She punched in my phone number because I could not find my email and my name pulled up right away. She got the order from the back and I was on my way. Love that they have the order online and pick up in store option. It is so convenient and alleviates the big crowds especially during their sales. 8-5-21 we took a drive out to Kapolei and this was one of our stops. Usually I'll shop on- line or pick up items at Pearlridge but this was a nice change. The staff I encountered were super friendly and helpful. The shop seemed aglow with Autumn enticement like Afternoon Apple Picking and Halloween items creepily labeled like Vampire Blood. It was attractive and well displayed. I liked the store set up a lot . I found the hand soaps, spray sanitizers and tiny pocket size hand sanitizers that I came for. The cashier kindly updated my email address at the end. He also told me to get one more pocket sanitizer for the best deal. I very much enjoyed the chill atmosphere at this shop. I have picked up products here few times and all my encounters with the staff are great. Things to like about this location is one it is conveniently located in a strip close to man roads and or freeways. I can easily stop by straight from work without going in deep into the outskirts of Kapolei. Two, it has ample parking as parking is shared with other establishments in the mall. Once parked, store is located no more than 3 minutes walk away. Three, store is clean, organized, and fully stocked. Four, staff are very welcoming, courteous, and friendly. Five, lots of sales and lots of option from bath, body, air, car, and hair products. If you have the option to order via the app and pick up in store, definitely recommend this. It will tell you your order will be ready within the next 4 hours, but based on my experience it was ready before the 4th hour. read more

They are on sale for $3 and some change. I also got one citrus candle for the house to smell good. I love how organized this store is. The employees were nice as well. Heads up, their semi-annual sale is going on right now. It's not really that great of a deal yet because their items are only 50% off at the moment. I usually like coming in when they do their second round of mark downs and things are 75% off. The only downside to waiting for the second mark down is that you run the risk of the items you want being sold out. Since I wanted a specific hand soap, I came here early. I usually call them before stopping by to make sure they have the items I want in stock. Their staff members are very friendly and do not mind manually walking to their display cases to check if said items are in stock. I hate it when stores (I'm looking at you, Target) just check their inventory on their computer because sometimes their physical inventory and their computer inventory do not match up, and I make the trek to their store only to be disappointed. Anyway, this location is pretty organized even during their sales and the line moves quickly. Because of Covid, they now hand you their bag at the door for you to place the items you want to buy while browsing their stores. During checkout, if you decide to keep the bag you will be charged $0.15 per bag. I normally bring my own recyclable bag with me so I make sure to tell the cashier not to charge me for their bags. read more

I couldn't wait to share this! My daughter and I wanted to get out of the house for awhile so we came over to the Ka Makana Alii Shopping Center to enjoy their outdoor mall environment. As we were coming up to Bath and Body Works, the aroma of fresh scents convinced us that we needed more of their hand sanitizers and candles for our home. With COVID still around, they had their signs up to remind shoppers of social distancing and that wearing a face mask is required. No one was waiting in line which was nice but we still followed the rules by waiting outside for someone to allow us in. A friendly staff member noticed us and had let us in a few seconds later. We got our usual hand sanitizers and hand sprays but what got me excited was their cute bags stuffed with some of their popular items. Honestly, it was the hardest decision for me to make because I wanted them all! But after being yelled at from my daughter to "hurry up," I made an impulse decision to get the teal (Tiffany & Co. color) that had a White Tea & Sage hand soap and candle inside of it. If you guys haven't seen these yet, go check them out! If you don't like crowds like me, I suggest going to the Ka Makana Alii location cause they have friendly staff that assist with getting customers in and out! I was here the day after Christmas to see what kind of deals they were having. Nothing caught my eye that day. The promo they were running was ok. They had better deals before Christmas and I stocked up on the things I wanted. The best deal was on Black Friday. It was buy 3, get 3 free anything in the store, plus coupons. Remember that for next Black Friday, if you shop here. The customer service here wasn't good. No one greeted me or asked if I needed any help. Most of the workers were just stocking and ignoring customers. I had to chase down a worker to ask him a question. At the Ala Moana location, they have workers standing at the door to greet you and ask if you need help. I've had workers come up to me and offer me a shopping bag when my hands were full. The Ka Makana Alii location needs to step it up. read more

I love Bath & Body Works and am glad that they have one now in Kapolei so I don't have to go all the way to Pearlridge or Ala Moana. The customer service here is pretty nice. I usually buy everything on sale, and they often send you 20% off coupon in email if you decide to sign up....and you can use the coupon on all sale and clearance items as well. With corona virus panic, this place was the only one I could find hand sani bac....though they are little travel size. I will keep shopping here for their awesome hand soaps! read more

Prior to those dark ages, we locals had to beg our friends and family visiting the mainland for B&B Products; I've been on the receiving end of the hauls home and their products are not lightweight! Bath and Body will now sell stuff to us online, but they tack on a crazy shipping fee to Hawaii, sometimes costing more than the product itself...c'mon B&B, let us order and you ship our products to one of your local stores, like this one at Ka Makana, with no charge to us...you gotta ship stuff to Oahu anyway! I gave this store a 5-star because they are friendly and helpful (as most B&B's are...good job B&B on your customer service!), but what truly stood out this store were the displays and the decorating...despite it being a lot smaller than other Bath and Bodies on the island, this store makes the best use of space and the displays are markedly "mainland" in feel, which makes me feel like I'm in a store in Vail, Colorado vs Kapolei, West Oahu on the "West Side"...nothing wrong with that, but the optical illusions of this shop made me feel like I stepped into a Bath and Body Works in a ski lodge! read more

Every so often my sister in law will request some soaps and bathroom fragrances for me to pick up for her before I visit home on Kaua'i. But my sister is particular on what she wants. So before I head over to the stores, I'll call to see if they are available with those certain items. The employees are always friendly and helpful in my search for what ever I have to buy. The one candle fragrance I do buy is the eucalyptus stress relief candles. Reminds me of when I used to work at a spa. I didn't care much for smell good soaps, but when you have a stink poop. At this mall I definitely recommend to ask for Jomel I told him my scent and he went right into giving me samples to smell and all 3 scents was purchased. It was like christmas all year long. When I entered this location, there was not a single employee who greeted me or asked if I needed assistance. I was surprised with the lack of customer service. There was a male employee nearby but he did not say anything. WTH??? Once I found what I needed, I quickly went to the counter. The employee there was a lot friendly. Used those coupons from the mail for additional discount. After this first hand experience, I don't think I will shop here again. Poor service and not the best selection of products. read more

Something I really appreciate about this Bath and Bodyworks location compared to others is the workers here don't seem as up in your face about if you want to try this, or "oh if you like that, you should definitely smell this one" when they see you looking at something. In my experience so far, they ask if you need something, then either leave you alone or make their suggestions if you ask. Thank you! Also a big plus is everyone is just super friendly. And when you do have questions, they really know their stuff. I always have a hard time finding tangy citrus smells because I dislike really floral and sweet ones. Ask them to suggest some and they'll know which products are musky, which are sweet, floral, tangy, etc.! Only problem with this store is it can get crowded as hec during the holidays because it's kind of small :(. That's the price of being so convenient for west-siders I guess lol. All of Waianae and Kapolei pretty much come here now instead of having to go to Pearlridge, and you know us local girls have to have a whole stock of Bath & Bodyworks lotions and sprays despite the fact that we didn't use the ones we bought last Christmas ^_~ read more

I suppose during the holidays is not the best time to first visit a store and write a Yelp review, but seeing as though I rarely shop at Bath and Body Works anymore, I might as well while I have the chance, right? The week before Christmas, it's a bit crazy. As with most stores in Hawaii, there isn't much room to move around. And Bath and Body Works is no exception, if anything, possibly worse. So in all, that's where they lost a star. Overall, the employees were very pleasant, especially considering the chaos that is the holidays. They didn't have many sales going on because they were probably trying to promote their main one: buy a tote for $10 and fill it (zippable), everything in the tote is 40% off. Not a bad deal! The employees on the floor were the best, but not saying the cashiers weren't nice. But the employees on the floor were who had the best customer service with the nicest smiles :-) read more

This store features a White Barn candle section. I love it! The store itself is organized like all their other stores and some of the staff from the Pearlridge store has moved here. Josh in particular has always given me the greatest customer service in the Pearlridge store so I am glad he is here as this is the new store I will be frequenting. I came during their grand opening weekend so it was packed even more than normal (in comparison to the Pearl store) as they were offering an additional 25% off their sales as part of their grand opening special. I had a ton of coupons from all my previous trips to the other store so I had like 8 transactions to do. The line was long. When I finally got up the cashier was new and unsure on how to do my transaction. Luckily, their new store manager Lindsay was there to help. Lindsay was so helpful and cheerful and didn't at all seem bothered that I had like a million coupons to process. She knew what she was doing and was fast, something that if you are a big couponer like me, you most definitely appreciate. I ended up going back the next morning to get more candles (the deal was just too good to pass up), and she remembered me and helped me out again. Since I bought like 20 candles, she gave me some White Barn matchsticks. I think they always have them free since they have the White Barn candles there, but don't quote me on that. I don't have a problem with the products; love the soaps and hand gels. But their rewards program is a joke. I ordered products using my rewards--my birthday reward, and a purchase reward. Received an email that they received my order. Then next day, they email me that my order has been cancelled -- no reason given. I assumed it was because it wasn't at the store. So I contacted B&BW; the rep said he will ship out my order free of charge since it wasn't available at the store. I waited a couple weeks but didn't receive anything. So I contacted them again, and they tell me to reorder. By now the rewards aren't in my account, so if I reorder I would have to pay full price for everything, without the discount and without the freebie. What the heck? I asked about the rewards I was supposed to have, and was just told to reorder. Be careful ordering online using rewards, because they will just cancel it and take the rewards back! read more

CANDLES!!! I LOVE CANDLES!!! I used to work at the Ala Mona location and know how amazing the candles and soaps are. This little gem has amazing workers who make your shopping experience personalized. The set up of the store is simple. When you first walk in you see the signature scents and their line of products. The mid section is the candle section. My favorite. I could spend hours in this section!!! The have candles in the middle of the room and all along the walls. They even incorporated the wall flowers into this section. As you make your way towards the registers you enter the hand soap section. It's a bit smaller than the Ala Moana location but the staff here are seriously amazing. Normally I get annoyed when people ask me "Is there anything particular you are looking for ?" However, these staff members can read when you're not in the mood to talk and they just leave you be. They are also observant and know when their co workers Engage with customers. They won't re-bug you If they've seen someone already ask you a question. I would recommend this location over the pearl ridge location. read more
