went to Washington Square , in Tigard Oregon , Worst service ever. I had a online coupon for the reward program and 2 additional sets of coupons. I wanted to separate my orders to qualify for 2 of by coupons. I would pay separate which i have done in the past. This time the cashier did not know how to proceed. She used my online coupon and ripped up my paper coupons and told me i could only use 1 coupon . She said good day basically dismissing me. I asked to speak to a manager. The assistant manager gave me the ripped up coupon and that expires tomorrow saying she was not sure if it would work . I would need to come back tomorrow. I asked for the coupon set that expires in a couple weeks she ripped up. she said the cashier did not have it. The manager now joined the conversation and basically told me that there was nothing they could do to accommodate me. I left with 1 ripped up coupon and very frustrated with the service. I went today looking for a candle that would suit my smell preference as well as my husbands. Maca, one of the stores representative approached and asked if there was something she could help me with. I mentioned to Maca what I was looking for and what each scents we both liked. I also mentioned that we both liked the honey crisp apple candle. Right on the spot she showed me the GARDEN SAGE & APPLE 3 wick candle. Loved it on the spot and bought it. Brought it home showed it to the hubby and his eyes lit up and said this smells pretty, let's light this up. I'm extremely pleased and happy with the service I got today. Good service, but confusing signs for their specials and sales items. The economics behind them kind of force your hand to buy in bulk to receive the benefit of most of their savings. Just need one hand soap, not 6 at the moment. BABW always has good products, just with most individual pricing was adjusted so you don't have to spend so much time figuring out your right combination of items to get the best deal. I appreciate the customer service at this location. All the staff I've ever interacted with have been very friendly and helpful. It seems like a great place to work. Special kudos to Tom and Eric; they're the best. I was in the store once when I woman knocked over a 3-wick candle and it fell on the floor and shattered. The Sales Associate nearby made the situation very lighthearted and all-in-all alleviated any embarrassment the woman may have had in breaking the item. I was impressed with how quickly she responded. The products here are more expensive than your everyday lotions, soaps, shower gels, hand sanitizers, car fresheners, scented nightlights, body sprays, etc., but depending on the scent you're going for, it may be well worth it. One lotion or shower gel is $12.50 each. A body spray is $14. However, there are consistently buy 3, get 3 or buy 2, get 1 deals. That means you could potentially bring your cost down to about $6.25 per item. If you sign up for e-mail and mail offers, they're always sending coupons for things like a free travel-size item or $10 off $30. They almost always put another coupon in your bag to keep you coming back for more. To put quantity into perspective, I use one lotion bottle every two weeks. To be fair, I use a lot of lotion all over my body. Thus, I would need 26 bottles to last me throughout the entire year. Oh, this is not a place a to frequent for someone who is highly sensitive to smells. Otherwise, being in here for even five minutes is sure to give you a headache and agitate your nose. Hello everyone, how are you? I want to share with you my experiance at bath and body works washington square. I went to bath and body works to do an exchange and I had the recipt for two of the candles the other ones I didnt well here is the thing as I was wondering around the store picking out my candles to exchange the employee came up to me and told me I couldnt exchange my candles the reason the wax was a little bit soft she kept accuseing me of using a candle warmer and I kept telling her I dont use those but she didnt listen she kept accuseing me and sadly she would'nt even show me my candles that I brought back that she said there not sellable because they were just a tiny bit melted from being in my friends hot car while we had Lunch and yes it was a hot day. Ive exchanged candles before and it wasnt a problem. Sad thing is each year I give them a christmas card looks like they wont be getting one this year and I am sorry I wont be shopping at that bath and body works because of the employee who treated me wrong. I will always Love Bath and Body works but I will not allow to be treated bad. read more

This is the closest bath and body works store to me, and its a bit of a drive. The employees are very nice and make you feel welcome in the store. I don't feel like I'm being forced to try new scents or sprayed with perfume. I can shop at my own pace and its lovely. The only complaint or I guess negative star is the hand soap selection was very small. Not sure if this is because all the holiday scents are out, but it just seemed to be lacking a bit. read more

I worked with a young lady by the name of Sydney tonight. I have to say, she's one of the most customer service oriented sales reps I've ever met in a BBW. I told her what my normal scent was but I wanted to take advantage of the sale and she took the time to match me up perfectly! I walked out with Cashmere Glow and Dark Kiss as my alternate scents. She had a good nose and knew exactly what alternative scents to suggest. She went out of her way to match all my lotions to shower gels, and even though everything was 50-75% off and I still left the store with $100 of merchandise! Give that girl a prize! Oh my gosh the sales. It's glorious. I've been multiple times here specifically for hand soaps but I always walk out with a little extra. The scents are so amazing, the variety is gigantic and ever changing. And I love how you can smell and try out practically every single thing. They provide everything you need to stay there for hours trying out items. They also always have seasonal fragrances that I love to try. Did I mention the sales? They're also super helpful if you have questions, but rarely have I needed to ask anything. The layout is incredibly easy to navigate, everything is displayed efficiently and always well stocked. They had a bunch of new scents I immediately fell for. I now possess more room sprays than I have rooms. Buy 3 get 3 free on signature collection is what did me in. They're ever changing but constant, if you want the best deals keep checking back. I spend quite a bit here every time but I think it's always worth it, and I can't use any soaps but their foaming hand soaps. But those sales, tho. read more
