This unwelcoming attitude doesn't build a strong buy local community. This is discrimination and it should not be tolerated in our downtown Salinas community. Beeswax candles don't leave any residue and it's a natural air purifier. Add essential oils and you've got the best of both worlds. I actually left some samples of candle melts in my car once and it had melted because it was so hot out, but good thing it was still in a plastic bag so it was fine. But it made my car smell soooo nice! I even forgot what that sample was but it smells like honey and some yummy goodness! So I got a little container and used that for my car freshener. It's way better than using those chemical laden car fresheners. Everyone who rides in my car tells me how amazing my car smells. It's been over a year and I still have it. It was a fun little activity to do together while trying out a variety of scented liquids (i.e. citrus sands, jasmine, amber & plum) using tiny labeled bottles and pipettes. I loved having the freedom to be creative, though mine ended up being kinda simple and was definitely fruity, heavy on the smells of cranberry, apple, and orange.
