However, this location was so nice because the lovely guy who helped me wasn't pushy or overbearing. We had a nice conversation about what products I like and he made a wonderful suggestion when they were out of the mask I wanted. I was given space but was attended to if needed. That was SO refreshing. The customer service at this location was fantastic. And I found multiple new products that I love. More of this please, LUSH! I will now be a regular at the Annapolis Mall location because it was the most relaxed experience of any LUSH store I've experienced (and I've visited many across the US).

This is a one-stop store. With clothing, household products, kitchen products, household furniture including outdoor chairs. I have purchased a jacket for my husband. My king size sheets were priced at $25.00. So I bought two. I love them and the feel of them. Certain sheets make me sweat and I haven't had a problem with these. Gabe's has a little bit of everything. Including scrubs if you're into Healthcare. One of my favorite stores now with excellent prices. Don't forget to join the awards club. They had all of the items I needed in stock... Including some products I have not been able to find it other locations. I ended up leaving with more than I originally came for. The staff were polite and allowed me to shop in peace, checking in wants to make sure that I was finding everything okay. I especially love that the store is in an outdoor shopping center and not tucked away in a mall somewhere where I have to walk past dozens of stores that I have no interest in just to find it. There's also plenty of parking in the shopping center, which only adds to the convenience.

I had to look around and over several stack boxes to look for the flat iron I needed. Why would you have a shipment stack outside on the sales floor during business hours. After I couldn't see the flat iron I needed. I headed to the hair care aisle. Where I noticed she looked up at the mirror to see where I was. Then she noticed me walking to the front where the register was she again did not acknowledge me. So as I walked out I said I guess you don't acknowledge customers in this store. We had a great experience here recently in the clothing and electronics departments…read more It was pretty late in the evening, and the mister decides that he "needed" to buy and pick up a raspberry pi that day, which was only available at this target location. He called and was able to have it set aside. Once we arrived, the guy in electronics was very friendly and we got we went for... ...until I came across the women's clothing section and wanted to try on a blouse I saw on a mannequin. The lady in the area was super friendly and said I shouldn't hesitate to try something on (apparently, others have said the fitting room was closed even though it doesn't until the store closes). I tried on a couple sizes, but they didn't have my size on the rack. She was very helpful and checked to see if it was in stock at the store. I mentioned that it would be funny if it was on the mannequin, which it was! She was so sweet to take off the one on the mannequin and I was able to buy my blouse. :)

When I entered the store, the sales associate did not acknowledge me at all -- no greeting, no offer of help. As I walked through the store, she followed me closely from section to section, including into the fitting area where there were additional sales items. However, when two white women entered the store shortly after, the same associate immediately greeted them and offered assistance. When I approached the register to request the store manager's contact information, the assistant manager identified herself and I calmly explained what had occurred. At that point, the associate claimed she never even noticed me -- despite having followed me around the store the entire time. As I was leaving because I no longer felt welcome, the associate became hostile and yelled at me, stating that she "gets along with the assistant manager" who happens to be Black," which was completely inappropriate and deeply revealing. I am a Black woman. The associate is white. The customers who were greeted and assisted were white. The difference in treatment was clear. I was made to feel watched, unwelcome, and devalued as a customer. What I was wearing -- leggings and a hoodie -- should not determine whether I am treated with basic dignity or assumed to be suspicious. I hold a LOFT credit card and was fully prepared to shop. This was not just poor customer service. It was biased treatment that requires immediate attention. The associate needs serious customer service and bias training, and store leadership must address how this situation was handled. No customer should ever leave a store feeling humiliated, profiled, or unwelcome. I did.
