If you lived hyperlocally, it would be a great place to supplement your needs if you needed something quickly without the hassle of driving south on 295. Expect organic produce, bulk grains and flours, a simple selection of plant-based options, clean health and beauty products, as well as locally made goods too (and if you're from south of Brunswick, you'll probably discover new-to-you midcoast and downeast brands). I picked up a few things when I stopped by, and had the absolute loveliest chat - about the weather and gardening, of course - with the man behind the counter. Also, shout-out to whoever is choosing the playlist: I know this seems random, but every single person cashing out commented on the tunes!

The staff are warm, kind and friendly and always happy to help. Supporting other local business, stores and farms in the process of providing you with all of the essentials you need on their own, it would be a shame not to at least give this store a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Our first visit here a little over a year ago was for a special collaboration with Frosty's Donuts for a mocha donut special. We recently revisited due to a Yelp experience and had delicious strawberry specials! Earlier this week we spotted that they would be doing another collaboration with Frosty's for Maine Wild Blueberry Weekend. My wife loves blueberry so it was a no-brainer! Lots of parking available nearby and easy to spot the trailer. The owner is so friendly and will greet you with a smile! My wife and I both grabbed the donut special that featured a glazed donut that comes with blueberry soft serve and blueberry sauce. I think it even topped the mocha special and was mindblowing! The absolute perfect glazed donut meets deliciously flavored blueberry soft serve. If you love ice cream this is a must visit! Grab some ice cream and enjoy sitting along the historic Bath waterfront! Follow their social media for the current specials, typically different every week and all of them sound so good.

Zellie's is located right by the waterfront in Bath and was very easy to find. We've driven through downtown dozens of times but this was our first visit. I ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake Mousse Parfait special and it was delicious! Loved the layers of cheesecake mousse, brown butter graham cracker and strawberry soft serve. My husband ordered the Maine Strawberry Soft Serve on a sugar cone. We had our kids along with us -- one ordered the Maine Strawberry Soft Serve with Chocolate Sprinkles and the other ordered Strawberry/Vanilla Soft Serve with Rainbow Sprinkles. We enjoyed our treat right along the water. We all left with happy bellies! We will definitely be back again!

The line up is an eclectic mix of Maine products and vendors. Whether you need a sweater (or her lamb), specialty vinegars (and recipes), or any other delicious housewarming or holiday present, the market offers a diverse array of products besides the organic produce and other goodies. We like providing them to our VRBO guests too. We do wish they would move Hootenanny's Bread to the south end of the market near Dharma Farms and Kelly Bros beef-- it would reduce the congestion from the long lines and make the "main street" of the market more enjoyable. The market moves indoors with fewer vendors in November-- being in the historic freight shed is a little more crowded but also cozy as the winter months progress. And our freezer is never without a Mainely Poultry pot pie or two, some haddock "burgers", or a Chase Farms apple pie. It's our kids (and their kids) favorite activity when they visit.

Grab yourself some totally goattly chipotle cheese, a few loaves from the Van Gogh of Dough, and some chicken legs from Maine-ly Poultry. And even if they aren't punny, pick up some fresh eggs, crab dip, squash, sage bundles for spiritual wellness, handmade candles, peppers of all kinds, shepherd's pie, heritiage pork, and the best jam ever. That's just a little bit of the selection. And if you tell the folks selling bulbs for your garden that you don't have a garden because you lead a sad life in NYC, they will offer a sympathetic, "Awwww." But my favorite thing about this market? There was a little kid trying to buy a pumpkin, and he dropped it. The nice vendor said he could still have it, but now it's a squash. I'm going to be using that dad joke for decades to come.

It seemed to be where most people were anyways. The bartender, I think named Greg, was awesome. Even though he was busy, he was quick and attentive. I ordered the filet cooked medium rare for dinner. It was slightly under, more on the rare side, but I didn't complain. Mainly because the couple next to me were non stop complaining and I just didn't want to be a bother. It was still delicious and I don't mind rare steak anyway. I will say, it had an amazing crust on it and was seasoned well. The sauce also paired really nice and wasn't too heavy. The baked potato was also delicious, and they made sure to salt the skin which is bonus points. Overall, I thought it was a cute little restaurant. I liked the vibe and sort of eclectic decor. Food was fresh and delicious. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in town again.
