Assorted crostini for sale to go
    Maria M.

Highest quality pastries, breads, and desserts, plus pizza slices, frittatas, and sandwiches. Very cute interior, with exposed brick, glass cases, beautifully displayed food. Right next door (connected on the inside) is a seating area for eating in, where they also serve gelato and coffees. This place is a gem. I wish it was a little closer to my home, but now that I know about it, I will stop in every time I go to or through Bath. We tried several items, ate some there, and brought some home. We tried the pizza, a veggie frittata, and 3 Cornetti which is an Italian version of croissants, slight denser, just as flakey, just a buttery, maybe even more delicious. We tried the almond, the raspberry and the chocolate...all were incredible. They also have a nice selection of bottled Italian soft drinks. I tried the rose water. The fragrance and flavor of rose was amazing. Will definitely be back.

We stopped in and got their lemon crème cornetto - which was tart, flaky and PHENOMENAL! Our bed and breakfast served sourdough bread at breakfast and OMG It was the BEST bread that was airy yet crusty with great taste and texture!!

I want to keep this review extremely simple by just saying you absolutely need to make it to this bakery. It's easily 5 stars with their warm environment, artisan pastries and breads and craft coffee. Not the mention any time I visit I am greeted by the sweetest staff. Such a gem for Bath!

What a beautiful and intimate little bakery! Parking was a breeze with plenty of street parking as well as lots nearby. The Sponge cake was in fact spongy filled with a soft custard. The dipiomatico was essentially a cake version of baklava which was great! Both the plum jam croissant and chocolate croissant were buttery and flaky. The chocolate was my preferred of the two. The breads are baked fresh in which we tried their milk bread and semolina bread. I loved the texture and taste of all their items. Staff were more than happy to help with smile on their faces. Would love to come again and recommend others to as well!

Haven't been into Solo Pane in a few years...wow! These bites transported me right back to Italy. Enjoyed some cornetti alongside a smooth espresso! We will be back!

Browned Pumpkin Butter cold brew with Maple cold foam-yes please! Lattes were great! So many beautiful pastries, cookies, breads, tarts, frittata. Everything we got was great. Nice seating area. One of the best bakeries Ive visited!

Great pastries and coffee. Such a yummy local gem. We got breakfast twice on our trip and I know if we were locals we would be there all the time.

A slice of Italy in the Midcoast. Solo Pane e Pasticceria transported us to the European bakeries we often fall in love with during our travels. From the moment we walked inside, we were taken aback by the smell of fresh bread and the dozens of picture-perfect pastries. My partner had a savory snack, and I had a yummy pastry filled with hazelnut butter that was just incredible. We were both impressed by the quality, presentation, and taste. At $5-7 on average for a pastry, they aren't necessarily the cheapest, but they are worth it. Add a coffee from their dedicated coffee bar, and you'll get an authentic Italian breakfast for around $10. I also heard they do aperitifs... I so wish I lived closer! The "worst" thing about Solo Pane is having to decide what you'll order -- everything looked divine.

    Selection of sweets and savory

Lovely bakery. The selection of savory is smaller than their sweets but I tried the Margarita and It was pretty amazing. I'm pretty sure It was on focaccia bread. Very light and just good! The persons behind the counter were nice and helped me with my questions. Their bathroom was clean. And they had seating indoor and outdoors. I would come back to try all their sweet things.

She immediately and rudely told me, "You need to go through the drive-through. All pickups are at the drive-through." The promptly closed the walk up window in my face. If that's the policy, that's fine, but there was no need to act that way, especially to someone who was just attempting to pick up a DoorDash order. In addition, it was especially confusing since other Aroma Joe's locations always direct dashers to use the walk-up window or go inside to avoid holding up the drive-through line. Rather than deal with the hostility, I unassigned the order from my account and left without pay. Delivery drivers are simply following the instructions provided to them and a respectful explanation would have been appreciated, especially considering the store has to manually add in what pick up instructions for drivers are.

We like providing them to our VRBO guests too. We do wish they would move Hootenanny's Bread to the south end of the market near Dharma Farms and Kelly Bros beef-- it would reduce the congestion from the long lines and make the "main street" of the market more enjoyable. The market moves indoors with fewer vendors in November-- being in the historic freight shed is a little more crowded but also cozy as the winter months progress. That's just a little bit of the selection. And if you tell the folks selling bulbs for your garden that you don't have a garden because you lead a sad life in NYC, they will offer a sympathetic, "Awwww." But my favorite thing about this market? There was a little kid trying to buy a pumpkin, and he dropped it. The nice vendor said he could still have it, but now it's a squash.
