Received phone back and the screen they used is crap and very dim. Showed them compared to my identicle work phone the difference in brightness and they claimed that the new part has thicker glass therefore is dimmer. This is a complete lie. Took home and noticed the battery they replaced doesn't register with phone and is actually worse on holding a charge. They use crap parts for their phone repairs.......DO NOT USE THEM!!!! They will use crap parts and then lie about it and not stand behind their work. I went in today to get a battery replaced in my watch. I was met by an unpleasant man with a lump on his head. He took my watch and came back and said we cannot put a battery in this watch we only replace batteries in timex watches. If timex batteries are the only ones you replace why doesn't your website state that instead of wasting my time. I will never be back in your store. read more

Just to let everyone know, there's only a 15 Day Warranty on Watch Batteries. They sold me an old corroded battery and they Don't keep records of small purchases. They didn't even have a tool to replace it and Another reason Not to buy a Watch Battery here. I recommend Nelson Estate Jewelers by Baby Kays. They were very nice and up front not to install that corroded battery and gave me one and installed it. That's a local company worth supporting, not batteries plus bulbs. Well, if you don't value your time, B&B on Dobson is the place to go. Made an appt. 4 days ahead of time for a screen replacement and new battery for IPhone 8 Plus. I get there- NO batteries in stock it will take a couple of days to get one in and it is going to take 2 hrs because there are walk-ins ahead of you. That is ridiculous- why did I make an appt? Why wasn't the battery there since I made the appt.? Then it took over 2.5 hrs, I left and and they forgot to hook the camera back up so I had to go back the next day, then the manager wasn't there to approve a "free of charge" that put me over the edge- well 1.5 hours later it was fixed and I will never visit a B&B again! I came to batteries plus after going to a couple of other stores that didn't have the batteries I needed. The batteries I needed were extremely small, smaller than hearing aid batteries, and they had little Japanese writing on them. When I went to Batteries Plus I walked up to the counter, and asked if they had these batteries. After waiting about 1 minute the gentleman emerged from their back room with the batteries I needed. I had purchased a battery from another retail store and was not able to get the battery in the devise so I figured it was worth a shot to see if the people at Batteries Plus could figure it out. Not only did they fix the problem, the literally spent an hour working with the battery since it was expensive and I didn't want to replace it. Took in my galaxy s5 to have the charge port replaced. Everything was functioning aside from being able to charge my phone. So I drop it off, they ask for my phone number so they can call, to let me know when it's done. Well here's my number, but it won't do any good since you have my phone.....anyway they gave me a timeline and hit it, but. There is now damage from prying the screen off, which I pointed out and was told that was like that when we got it. Go home to try and charge my phone and it charges....sort of. Sometimes it charges, sometimes it doesn't. My microphone is also no longer functional, so the phone feature is now useless as well. I'm getting a new phone next month anyway, so I won't bother trying to fight with the obviously ambivalent staff, but this place is good for batteries, not so good on repair. read more

Went to the Dobson location to have a new uncut keyfob I purchased cut and programmed. The machine the employees used to cut the key malfunctioned and cut it wrong and it would not work. The Store Manager was able to help me and covered the cost of the key. Thank full for his help. read more

Went there to have them send my cell phone in to repair the power button (which they said they could do). They said it would be back in 3 days, I informed them that I would need the phone back within 7 days and they said it was guaranteed to be back in time. After the 5th day they called me and said they couldn't fix it and they were shipping it back. they finally called me back after another week to tell me the phone was back (not fixed) and I could come and pick it up. Okay so all staff at this location needs to fired terminated and a manager should be assigned to work there everyday they want to provide a service to the public. I'm truly thinking this place is full of racist working there as I work with the public in my executive profession. I have purchased 2 batteries from this company one was for my daughter SUV which had to be replace about a year ago and the other was for my 7 series BMW. SUV had to be replaced by this company and location and encounter was rude as if we couldn't afford cause of our color staff refused to honor the warranty until I had to threaten lawsuit. That's strike 1. Strike 2- This weekend I had to take in a dead battery from the Bmw to rude old guy to tell me it was under warranty until 2019. However they needed to charge it overnight. So we called in today to a rude as hell employee to say you should've gotten a warranty card as the system already has the warranty information. Stated talk to a manager and hung up in my face. So now we will let the repercussions begin. Employees don't understand why their companies go out of business overnight. CUSTOMER SERVICE..... POOR MANAGEMENT..... I will not stop till I have all jobs at this location. I want all staff replaced that worked the weekend of 4/22/17 and 4/23/17. I went in to get a universal charger for my camera battery. The salesman made me feel inferior and then proceeded to sell me an expensive charger. He attempted to show me how it worked and when it did not complete the charging sequence he assured me it would work once it was plugged in for awhile. Well, it didn't. And we were going on vacation - so no charge for the camera on vacation. When we came back, I went to return it. However, I was informed that we were passed the "14 day return policy - even with a receipt" so they would not accept it! I explained it didn't work, etc. No - no return. We'll take your money for the overpriced product - run along now! Worse - I found a working charger and 3 batteries for half the price on Amazon. Took my iPad in to get the screen changed because of a crack in a screen. When I called to see how long it would take I was told an hour or two, when I got there I learned it was an 8 hour job which meant an extra round trip out there to pick it up. Got home with the iPad I realized there was now something wrong with the functionality of the iPad. I called a few days later to ask about this mishap and was told it's something that sometimes happens when they work on them bring it back and they'll do a quick fix on it. Another trip there to then be told it would be all day, it turned out to be 20 hours. Another trip back there to pick it up when I find fingerprints on the INSIDE of the screen. To get that fixed would be another day they have my iPad and another trip. I don't have the time for all of these trips. I paid about 140.00, took 2 extra 38 mile round trips (that's 76 miles) there to come out with an iPad that now has fingerprints inside the screen I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

This place saved the day like crazy for me. After a massive headache of my key fob not working and plenty of tow truck drivers becoming incompetent, the owner (Kyle) was able to figure out how to program my 2016 CX-5 Mazda key fob to my car when I didn't have a second one available. Not only did he save me $320 at the dealership but he saved my job all for just $10. Hands down beyond impressed with the service here especially after a day like mine. I brought it in to have them replace it, and they called me the next day to tell me they had sold me the wrong battery but they had the correct one in stock and would waive the installation charge for the mistake. Went in to get my button repaired on my iPhone 5 and picked it up and the person who fixed it got dirt trapped throughout the screen. 6 pieces big enough to count, more that are just pieces throughout that are tiny. I wasn't even told when it got picked up. On top of that I asked him to fix it and was told that he would most likely break the screen trying to fix it and that he wouldn't warrant the repair of the screen broke. I will be calling manager and update Yelp post upon his response. I have never had such poor customer service. They just ruined a $600 phone. I bought a x2 18L battery for my Arctic Cat ATV, it lasted for about a year and I rarely used it, when I brought it back the Manager accused me of neglect and refused to replace it, they 'recharged' it which was a joke, it didnt work, so basically I bought a battery with a 24 month warranty, and they refused to honor it. The batteries in my two car door and my garage door openers all failed on the same day so I stopped in to Batteries +Bulbs on my way home from work. The Rep not only changed the batteries out but he very patiently did some maintenance work on the car openers that is going to help give them a longer life (replacements are very expensive). I buy all my regular batteries, etc. here. It's always a learning experience whenever I stop in to purchase a specialty item because all of the Reps are very knowledgeable and always willing to take the time to explain the workings of things. If the item I'm looking for is not in stock, they offer to order it for me. If on occasion I have to wait while they're helping someone else it's never a problem because I know they give me the same kind of attention. read more

I've done business with batteries plus for years. 2.5 years ago I decided to get their top of the line X2 battery for our toy hauler. I figured 380 bucks for their best battery with a 5 year warranty was the way to go. Overall the first 2 years the battery was good, no issues. Well over the last 6 months I noticed we had to run the generator more often to keep it charged up. When we weren't using the battery I would take it out and put it on a trickle charger to help maintain it. The last time we put the battery on the trailer it wouldn't hold a charge. So, figuring I had a quality product backed by what I thought was a quality company I brought the battery into the store to have them test it. It was severely low and the clerk said that being this low it looks to him that I neglected the battery and they usually don't warranty them. He then said, let us keep it and put it on the charger and see what it does. I was all for it. If they could bring it back to life then fantastic. Well I went back to the store after 2 days and was told it is upto 8 volts and they wanted to keep it longer to see if it would respond to the charge. No problem...I wasn't in a rush and had no need to use it right now. So another 3 days go by and I call in and I get the same story we need to keep it on the charger...So now I am almost a week out and still in no rush as we weren't planning on using it for a while. On day 9 I call the store and talk to someone and they said they were going to go in the back and check on it and he puts me on hold. A few moments later I hear, Batteries Plus this is Chad, can I help you. I then explain I was just waiting for a gentlemen to check my battery and I didn't need assistance. Then the guy goes, yeah he told me you wanted to talk to me. I said no. I didn't ask to talk to you. I was just holding for him to check my battery and get back in the phone with me to tell me what was going on. Well Chad then said, yeah you had the X2 right? Yes, that would be me. He then says that someone took the battery off the charger and it's only showing 4 volts. I said oh, then it really isn't holding any juice. The whole time he is short and rude with me. He then says, I'll warranty it this time but not again... I politely said thank you and I would be I. To pick it up. I get to the store and am met with someone other than Chad who is completely rude and short with me. He grabs a new battery, types a few things into the computer and snidely says here you go. I asked him if I needed a receipt or anything and he rudely says NOPE and immediate turns to another customer while I was still in front of him asking a question. Every person I dealt with in the last 9 days has been short and rude. They really did not want to warranty the product and lacked any decent customer service. They tried saying that it was ultimately my fault the battery failed. I will no longer use batteries plus for anything. I recommend anyone buying from them to watch out as I can see them sticking it to people whenever they can. Ultimately I got my replacement but for them to say they will not warranty it again if it fails goes against the warranty that is on the damn battery. Buyer beware. Oh and to add to it. When I first went in they were helping a gentlemen and as soon as they guy walked away they began to talk smack about the guy...I should have known what I was in for when I witnessed that. The staff was friendly enough, but if you are looking to have your tablet or phone repaired you should explore all of your options before going to Batteries Plus. I broke the display on my Samsung Galaxy S5 and brought it in to have the screen repaired. Even though the screen was cracked, I knew that the fingerprint feature was still functional before I took it in because the phone still vibrated each time I rolled my thumb over the home key. After the device was returned to me, the fingerprint feature no longer works. Looks like I will once again have to return to entering passwords for all of my apps and websites manually. Also, there are some smudges that are visible from the underside of the new screen. If you need a unique battery for your extinct device, perhaps this is the place for you.. Disregard the signs plastered all around the build advertising screen repair, they are not qualified to provide professional repair. read more
