My son broke his iPhone and we took it to Rapid iPhone Repair. The back of his phone was shattered. We called ahead and let them know what type of repair was needed and they gave us a quote. When we arrived, the staff was helpful. The guy who assisted us examined the phone and gave us the same quote as well as a timeline, within a day. We gave them a contact number and they said they would reach out when it's finished. The next day, we got a call or text (I don't remember) that it was ready. We returned shortly to pick it up. Hands down the worst iPhone repair shop around. The workmanship is horrible. They put phones together without securing the battery. They don't remove or apply adhesive correctly. Their warranty is garbage and they won't honor it. Phones put together are put together missing screws, and unsealed. The owner is not reachable directly and does not return emails or call customers. I dropped off my phone only to have them ruin it and tell me it would cost $225 to fix it. 4 miles down the road another company agreed to look at it and determined that Rapid Iphone damaged my phone and all the work they had done was incorrectly and poorly done. to date, not a word from Rapid Iphoke repair. I haven't been able to use my iPhone lightning port for about five months; Apple quoted me $100 just to diagnose. Dropped by Rapid iPhone Repair as I drove by it going to another store in the same shopping center. The gentleman working said it may still be dirty after I said I tried to clean it. do not take your iPhone there for a battery replacement. They do not use Apple parts and your phone will complain. The battery life is worse than when I brought it there. They should take the name rapid off of there business name as it is nothing but rapid they should call it slow repair. For another $10 take it to the Apple store. This is a rip off the battery life of this "new battery" is pathetic. You get error messages when checking battery status. I am surprised that they could be in business offering off brand batteries that don't work. read more
