First time trying them out. It is in a Good location with good hours. They had my watch battery in stock and installed it right away. I asked about the warranty and the rep kept saying it should work for about a year. I kept redirecting the question to the warranty and no real answer. She never said it has a warranty or it doesn't. Seems like a simple question that Corporate has probably prepared a response. My receipt didn't answer my question either. I would expect this type of "no answer" from the kiosk at the mall. read more

I needed to replace the battery in my key fob of my car. I had no idea how long it would take or how much. The employee was very nice, knowledgeable, and efficient. It only took him about 5 minutes to take apart my key fob and replace the battery. It was only $12 to change the battery. (After looking on YouTube, there was no way I was changing that battery at home, this was $12 well-spent.) read more

Well, I went to the location after they "found" the iPad I dropped off for repair. The repair was done right, but almost two weeks later then promised! I did speak to their tech, Carlos. Good guy and will go back if I can deal with him directly! Just read the reply from them... they are lucky they have Carlos. He apologized which was big to me. As far as contacting them directly, I did that... If I can use them again I will, but will only deal with Carlos. Over two weeks for a screen replacement and no compensation offered, I should have paid the extra $20 to a competitor and had it back in under 25 hours read more

I would give a zero star if possible. I bought an expensive $400 car battery with a 5 year warranty, brought the battery back after one year, because it is dead and not holding a charge. They refused to replace the battery saying I abused the battery. So if you buy an car battery from them and you don't drive that car everyday, you are abusing the battery. My original battery that I had in the car before buying their battery lasted over 5 years, same car same driving conditions. Go figure... read more

Had my son's iPhone screen and daughter's iPad screen fixed at this Batteries Plus. Son dropped his iPhone again a few off the ground and the screen broke but not the screen protector they put on. Daughter's screen is starting to pop out now as well. Could be the battery. Battery's Plus would not cover either under their warranty. Not going back for Apple repairs since I prefer quality workmanship that lasts. read more

I used the online payment and pick up feature. I got a discount for doing that and when I walked in the staff welcomed me and my battery was sitting on the counter waiting for me. He processed my refund for the core charge that I brought to them and I was on my way. I shopped around for this battery and they beat everyone in town by $9. read more

I bought stained glass lamps for myself and my mother while I was on vacation overseas. I didn't realize the bulbs had a different base than what is sold in the US. Luckily I remembered this store was nearby. I brought my lamp in and one of the men working opened a package to make sure the European based bulb would work. It was very busy in the store and there were only 2 people working that I saw. The employee was patient and didn't make me feel rushed or like I was a nuisance with my questions. Now I know where to send people for those hard to find items we don't carry where I work. read more

NEVER ever go here! Not worth time or money. They are a scam. If I could give them a zero I would. After changing the screen of my once functioning cellphone the system hardly allows me to type, end calls, or use aps. Batterylife has also been cut in 1/2. I took it back to them for review because there was clicking on one side where screen and device met and screws were missing. They said all was resolved after hours waiting. I took it back again because the phone was shutting off on its own while in use. This time they told me the screen that was installed wasn't theirs and there was nothing they could do, but give me a discount? After waiting hours again and speaking with a manager on the telephone they changed my screen again with even worse capabilities. They have no knowledge of apple technology and Verizon sent me here. STAY AWAY! Worst experience I have ever had, anywhere! Horrible experience with not only store manager but also the general general manager. Tech admittingly broke my iPhone. My iPhone screen that was cracked in one area but completely functional other than that was returned to me in non working condition. After having my phone for eight hours, having me drive back and forth five times to the store, attempting to replace two different screens on it, and finally telling me there was nothing they could do except dig my old cracked screen out of the trash in order to give me a refund, I finally went to the Apple Store like I should have in the first place. I had to pay $700 for a new phone and batteries plus bulbs didn't even have the deciency to voluntarily refund the purchase of the screen after admitting it was their fault. I was informed by an apple tech that the proximity sensor was not removed from the cracked screen properly, and should have been transferred to the new screen. Extremely disappointed with the customer service, they were so rude and I had a manager tell me "well that's not going to happen" when I calmly and simply asked for a refund and explained the situation. Even if I would have let them put the cracked screen back on, it would have been doing the same thing and would not work as There would have been no proximity sensor. You are trusting the techs with your phone and expect that they know how to fix iPhone screens. This previously frequent customer will NEVER be going back! CROOKED, FRAUDULENT BUSINESS, who cannot perform. read more

I needed a specific battery and this store is nearby. I went in and the man behind the desk was on the phone. He didn't acknowledge me, he just kept on talking. I stood there waiting for him for a few minutes and he eventually got off the phone. I am not positive, but it sounded like a personal call, which he was masking as a business call. I told him I was looking for a battery and gave him the model number. He then grabbed grabbed some batteries, which were obviously not the right kind. I told him those were not correct and he tried to tell me I was wrong. He asked for the model number again and then he grabbed the right one for me. He then tried to push a bunch of other products on me before he rang me up. I kept telling him no and eventually he stopped and rang me up. The price was decent, I think. So no complaints there. Just annoying to have the salesman ignore me for so long, then try to push crap on me I said I didn't want Obviously, I'd go back if I needed a specially battery immediately. It's closer than the radio snack. ________________________________________________________________________ So I went back as I needed to get a replacement bulb for my floodlight. They took my floodlight apart to figure out what bulb it was. Turns out they didnt carry it. Then they didnt even put the light back together correctly. And the mistake wasnt that they didnt screw in all the screws, or something easily unnoticed. The lens cover was visibly put on wrong. Since I had to redo their work I noticed the bulb wasnt even burned out, the battery was dead. You would think a company called "Batteries Plus Bulbs" would be competent enough to know something about the business they are in. With the bulb out they could have easily tested or inspected it to see that it was fine. Same goes for the battery, all they had to do was test it. Also, I was comparison shopping and their prices suck. Walmart has the same bulbs for half the price. read more

I am SO tired of wasting my time driving to this store to get an advertised service only to be told they "can't" do it because of some ridiculous company policy. The latest involved replacing the battery in my 10+ year old watch. Apparently it is company policy to only replace batteries in watches that cost less than $100. REALLY?? I told the tech, the watch isn't worth that...I've had the battery replaced at kiosks in the mall...heck, I think they've even replaced it before, but no can do mi amigo, he didn't want to "assume the risk". I now understand why they have to hawk expensive lightbulbs and repairing cellphones...because replacing batteries is apparently too challenging and risky. read more
