We bought 3 Life time Watch battery replacement package/product for our 3 watches - but every time we need a new battery for the watch the Manager always makes us feel like we're trying to cheat them which we are not. We took it to the Wickham location - no questions asked and they seemed happy to serve and see us. I guess the problem is with the manager at the Merritt island location who does not seem to like their own life time battery replacement product and made their customers feel guilty whenever we go there to replace the battery. read more

Had an issue with iPhone. Had made appointment at a repair shop across the street. Arrived and competitor had me waiting outside in the heat. Even though I had appointment waited 20 mins. Saw Batteries Plus Bulbs across the street, called, they had the part I needed so I headed over there. Was in and out, and on my home in 20 minutes. While waiting in the store, saw the interaction of the staff with other customers. Very customer focused and seem really interested in helping people. Reading some of the more negative reviews. My thought is, you're in Brevard County where it is really hard to find trained people to work on tech. Our talent pool is very shallow. I'm happy I didn't have to drive to Orlando or even Melbourne for a quick easy repair. If you're looking for real customer service and some nice people, stop by and see if they can help out. read more

Be aware!! Be very aware! David the store manager/district manger is a JOKE! I took my Galaxy Note 5 in there to have the battery replaced. What a HUGE mess this experience is and I will tell every person to NOT take anything there to be repaired!! This is my experience. When I went there the person behind the counter took my phone and promised me that my phone would be fine when they returned it back to me. Now mind you my phone was in PRISTINE condition when I left it with Batteries Plus Bulbs in Merritt Island Florida. I kept my phone in a Samsung wallet case and never took it out of it. There wasn't not one scratch or a ding or any other damage that happens to a cell phone when dropped on my phone. I made the guy aware that ALL Note phones are all GLASS and has to be opened very carefully to replace the battery. The guy assured me that they knew how to work on those type of phones and it would be fine. I went to pick up my phone at Batteries Plus Bulbs and it was a total WRECK! THEY BROKE MY PHONE!! The person who worked on my phone broke the glass on the back of the phone and also damaged the "paint" under the glass on the front of the phone. The guy behind the counter was shady as hell and very deceitful He handed me my phone back and in the hopes I wouldn't recognized how badly they damaged the phone. After inspecting my phone and showed him what they did and he had absolutely no reaction to the situation whatsoever. I asked to speak with the store manager who is David and he tried to blow me off about their reckless ways of doing repairs. I told them they had to replace the damaged phone. David said he wouldn't replace my phone but would replace the glass front and glass back of the phone. This really mad me angry considering we paid $1000 for the phone!! Sadly they did not carry the parts so they had to be ordered and once again I had no phone. I had to leave my phone once again with Batteries Plus Bulbs (357 E Merritt Island Cswy, Merritt Island, FL 32952 (321) 459-1393). This time when I went to pick up my phone THEY (David) BROKE MY PHONE AGAIN! This time David (store/district manager...which is a BIG joke!!) who told me he personally worked on my phone severed a wire that lights up the lower keys and the return button. I had to leave my phone once again with these dingle brains. At this point I wanted to speak to the higher ups to only find out that it's a franchise store and the OWNER REFUSED to speak to me. Now that's another shady way to run a business. What kind of business owner that does NOT want to speak with the customers is one shady person? Both times when I picked up my phone I noticed that it was only charged at 20%. David said it was because they didn't have the pass code and wasn't able to charge it. I just took my phone and left at that point. Yesterday and today my phone was not holding a charge. I called and spoke to David today only for him to tell me he would either replace the battery AGAIN or give me my money back for the battery. I once again told him I wanted to speak with the owner only to be told no. At this point BE VERY AWARE not to use this business. They are very deceitful and shady. I would not take anything to them to be fixed nor would I buy anything from them. I took my phone in for a broken screen , which they repaired. However, I had to return 2 additional times to have them put the phone together properly so it would function normally. I understand the phone has a lot of small parts, what I didn't understand or appreciate was not once did they apologize or show any concern for the time I have to carve out of my day to allow them to correct my phone, which should've been done right the first time. Now that my phone is finally fixed and working properly, I'm happy with it. All in all, it would've been 5 stars had they fixed it right the first time or even apologized one of the two times I had to return. Customer service is lost now a days and it's very sad and doesn't make for customer loyalty. read more

I have used this store a few times. On Jan 7, 2019 I took my mc battery in and they used an advanced battery tester to run a full check for free! It showed voltage was great but amperage was too low, needing replacement. These guys are willing to help customers! I recommend them 100%. read more

I got the battery replaced on my phone. I took it home and less than a hour later the battery died and the phone didn't work. I took it back to the store and the employee, Steven, said that it had water damage and the battery warranty was void. The phone stayed dry and was inside while I had in my possession. I did not heed their advice on replacing the battery as my phone is going on two years, I was in Merritt Island and my phone died, I thought it was from the previous repair, but it turned out to be the battery as the other store had recommended. Bought a $175 battery for my scooter a year and a half ago. Only used the scooter 10 times and the battery is dead. First they said it was because it was over charged but when I told them I had left it off the charger for the last 4 months, then they said it was because it wasn't charged enough. These guys are the best. I went in to drop off a couple of broken UPS battery backups for recycling and walked out with all sorts of valuable information on a couple of electrical problems I've been having. I would not recommend this store for any phone repair. I entrusted them with my phone and they lost it and are claiming no responsibility. What is really disappointing about my experience is I was a repeat customer, they had fixed my phone screen one time before. So I automatically trusted them to repair it a second time. They acted like they had all of my information from the first repair by repeating my phone number and information back to me at the counter. Seemed legit at the time. But when I went to pick it up.
