yesterday I was in coco Walmart store and bought a cover for my IPhone. I told the guy what kind of charger I have and to make sure the cover allows me to charge my phone on existing charger. He started to talk about magnets, I told him I don't want a new charger only a cover that fits my phone and he sold me this cover for $25. when I came home I noticed that my phone could not be charged with this cover on. I drove back to the store and asked for a refund but the guy told me NO. Why sell me a cover that will not work wit me charger when I specified what I wanted. I called this location to get a price quote for a screen replacement for my smartphone. The rep asked what model. I told him the model and he said $89. I said fine, I will come in for a repair in a few days. When I went in there, I handed my phone to the rep. He asked what specific model it was (his voice sounded exactly like the man when I called). I told him what model. He immediately replied with $99. I said, no thanks I have received a lower offer elsewhere. He asked where? I told him actually this exact location told me $89 only a few days ago. He looked a bit surprised that I caught him, and said fine for $89. The repair was quick.. maybe 20-30 minutes, but the screen quality is terrible as its a 3rd party part. The colors don't display quite as vividly as the original and there appears to be an additional light sensor that wasn't on the original. From the outside the replacement looks flawless, cosmetically. But the worse part is that if there is even the slightest bit of excess pressure applied to the sides of the phone, the screen will start jumping around from app to app. It will type random characters in text fields, turn the flashlight on and off, open music and play random songs, etc. In the end, I got the replacement screen I needed and the work was satisfactory. However, the poor quality of the part and the shady customer service left me disappointed and I cannot recommend this business for anyone in need of digital device repairs. read more

Dont go here! I brought my phone, which had a cracked screen, to be fixed and the guy who works here screwed up my phone. After he replaced the screen I immediately noticed the fingerprint ID wasnt working and it wouldnt recognize my touch when I hit certain letters on the key pad. Basically he screwed up the sensors. I went back and he wouldnt take responsibility and acted as if it was my fault. He got very angry and started yelling at me. Once he got my money he wanted nothing more to do with me. Ive since been told by a different iFixandRepair store that this location uses poor quality screens. They use cheap materials and give horrible customer service. Got a message from one of the workers at the store chastising me for not being patient with them. This is without addressing any other grievances in my post. My impatience was because of the lack of customer care. If the diagnosis of my phone was going to take a long time, don't tell me that it's going to be ready in 30 minutes then start looking at it when I arrive a few hours later. Don't ignore me when I get to the store and give your attentions to the female customers who arrive after me. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The owner, not a random tech, the owner personally destroyed my phone during a repair then proceeded to insult me when I went back to get it fixed. He later emailed me after leaving a negative review saying he would make it right, only for me to go back into the store with the phone and him to proceed to pretend to not speak English before insulting me more and telling me to fix it myself. I decided to fix the battery he broke myself only to find once the phone was open, he ripped the side of the battery while trying to remove it, then decided it was ok to just put a ripped battery back in. The phone was giving off strong noxious fumes and turned off constantly the day I picked it up. The owner's response in person "fix it yourself". Contacted the head office of ifixandrepair and they are just as unprofessional and useless. Funny part is while getting a new phone a guy at the T-mobile store was buying a new phone and complaining about a repair shop that broke his phone during a screen repair. I asked him if he was talking about the store in the mall with the short guy with the beard, and he started laughing and cursing about the guy pretending to not speak english before telling him to get out of the store when he went in for a refund. DO NOT come here, the owner has no idea what he is doing when it comes to repairing electronics, he didn't even know he had to use heat to remove my phone's battery and simply ripped it out causing it to leak. I brought my laptop in for repair and was told I needed a new laptop. Brought new laptop in for transfer of files to new computer. It was frustrating because the scheduled time for each job was not met and no call made to me to tell me otherwise. I had to call them repeatedly to see what the status was. When I got my old and new computers back, some of the files were transferred over via an external drive that i was told by them to buy. The files were all clumped together in one folder. As it turned out, my old laptop was fine. The problem was in the mouse. I got a new mouse and it works fine. The only good thing I can say about this experience is that they did not charge me anything. read more

My daughter got a new screen put on her phone. The very next day it started glitching, typing numbers on it's own, locking her out of her phone numerous times, and scrolling all on it's own. We brought it back to see about getting a fix to it, but the man said it was caused from overheating which was impossible because the phone was never left outdoors or in a place with no air conditioning. Another store tried to repair the charging port on my Samsung Galaxy S5. After working on it, it would no longer stay connected for phone calls. They tried repeatedly, but could not get it to work. They charged me for the initial repair and gave me back a non-working phone. So I took it to iFixandRepair. They replaced the antenna for me and the phone works fine. And they only charged me a $26 diagnostic fee since I had already been ripped off by the other store. That was really nice of them. I would have paid them more. You don't find people like that much any more. I strongly recommend them. read more

Had my iPad mini digitizer glass replaced. Quality of the repair was spot on and the price was very good compared to other repair shops in the area / online. Staff was friendly and Tim seemed very knowledgable about the repair needed. I'd take other mobile devices for any repairs needed in the future. Only thing keeping this from a five star review is the staff's optimistic estimates on how long it would take to do the repair. I went here earlier today to get my iPhone 6 screen and digitizer replaced. When I got there to pick it up I saw that the screen is completely garbage, doesn't show true colors and looks terrible. Absolutely terrible experience with the store in the Melbourne Square Mall. My son who is in college originally went in and ordered a repair on his Nexus 5. They ordered his screen. He told me later that he had found this store to repair this phone, so I took my daughter's Nexus 5 into the store a few days later to get her's repaired. The salesman wasn't sure that the store repaired Nexus 5 phones, but he looked up my son's existing order and realized they did. So I placed an order also to have my daughter's Nexus fixed and paid a $100 deposit on my credit card with my phone number information. Apparently, the salesman did not create a separate order for me, but instead he added my daughter's phone order to my son's order profile. My son got a call a couple of weeks later saying his phone screen was in and he took it in and they replaced his screen. He told me later that the screen was ok, but he learned a couple of days later that after the "repair" his wireless charge capability and his NFC no longer worked. I encouraged him to take it back in and have them fix it, but learned later that his schoolwork did not give him time to do so, so he just lived with it. Meanwhile, I called back 3 weeks later to ask about my order and learned that my daughter's screen had not come in yet - the salesman said that he didn't know when it would come in because it was a specialty order and that he would contact us when it did. I waited almost another 5 weeks before I called and found out that my daughter's screen had come in and they had it on a shelf - they said they had called us a "couple of times" with no response. I went into the store to resolve the problem and found out that they had called my son's number on his profile and left a voicemail a couple of times saying his phone screen was in. My son never responded because his phone repair was already done and thought it was a mistake. When I went back into the store after the 5 weeks, I talked with the store manager and asked them why they never contacted us and that is when I learned that the original salesman had put my separate order under my son's profile which is why they were calling him for my daughter's phone. I said I was sorry they had made that mistake, but too much time had passed and I needed to cancel the order and get my deposit back. The manager said that it was my mistake for not returning his calls and that he wouldn't refund the $100 deposit. I pointed out that it was the store salesman who called the wrong number and put my order under the wrong profile. The manager was very agitated and said there was nothing he could do and to contact the owner, but the owner didn't have a regular schedule and I would have to try and keep coming in and "catch him in the store if I could". I left my phone with them (again) and requested they have the owner give me a call to resolve the problem. I called in the evening the following day to see if the owner was in - was asked to explain the problem to someone else from the beginning - was then put on hold for 15 minutes until I hung up and called back. This time, a new salesman answered and asked me to explain the whole problem again, put me on hold again, and came back to say that he had talked to the manager and they were not going to give me a refund (the info he relayed once again confused my son's order with my daughter's order) and said that the owner would be "very hard" to get ahold of and "in his opinion, was a deadend since he knew the owner". I hung up. Have called the corporate IFixAndRepair office to report this store. They are going to pursue it thru their chain but said it could take a very long time to resolve. I called the credit card company and disputed the charge since no product was delivered and no refund was granted. I would never recommend this store to anyone with the customer service that I experienced. They would not accept the fact that they had made a mistake with the order and had called the wrong numbers and then refused to give a refund with no service delivered. I haven't experienced this bad of experience with a store in a very long time. I cannot imagine what my son might have endured had he really tried to get them to fix the damage to his Nexus 5 after their "repair". My advice - stay away - if there is any type of problem or mistake on their end they apparently will not stand by what they do or their mistakes. read more

UNFORTUNATELY I bought my I Phone 5 here to repair the cracked screen. I cannot emphasize how many times a day I regret this decision. For starters I was quoted a repair price of $140 something, however when I picked up the phone my bill was $185!!! DO NOT GO TO IFIX FOR ANY SERVICES! I brought a white iPad into the iFixandRepair in the Melbourne Square Mall. The screen was cracked and the man who worked there, Tim, told me they would replace the screen within 2 hours. 2 hours later, I called to before returning to the store to confirm that it was ready and they assured me that it was ready and waiting for me. I arrived and had to wait an additional 20 minutes for them to "finish working on it" (note, I was the only customer in the store). When they finally finished and showed me the iPad, they had put a black screen on my white iPad. Further, the black screen did not even work. I was polite about it, because I understand that sometimes people make mistakes. Without any type of apology, they said "you can come back in about 5 hours. We'll have it done then." This was a great inconvenience considering I had to go to work, but I agreed and returned after 5 more hours. Again, I waited around for them to bring the iPad out. At the register, I politely asked the lady if they offered any type of discount for the inconvenience (considering they tried to give me the wrong screen, which didn't even work). She looked at me as if I was speaking a different language and yelled to Tim (who was in the back) and said "Tim! What do I give this girl for a discount!!!!!" Tim came to the register and responded to me in an extremely rude and condescending way, as if I was somehow offending him with my question. He started screaming and yelling, saying things like "I don't have to give you any discount" "you're just trying to make me feel bad" "I didn't do anything wrong, your iPad is fixed so you have nothing to complain about" I was absolutely shocked, this man was acting like a child. He had no concept of customer service. After listening to him scream at me for a while, I just wanted to pay and get he heck out of there. But Tim would not give me my receipt. Instead, he kept stalling and continued to yell in my face about how horrible of a person I was for asking for a discount. When I finally got the receipt, I got out of there as fast as possible. That was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Horrible attention to detail, terrible customer service, and the quality of the repair was extremely poor. In addition, the lady and Tim were dressed very poorly, both used foul language, and bickered with each other. This place is an absolute joke. The people seem like they're on drugs considering how insane they act. The store is run by children who don't know how to act toward customers and have no idea how to do their jobs. Don't go here, don't tell anyone to go here. A better option is Ubreak IFix in Hammock landings, about 10 minutes away from the mall. Two days later we picked up our iPad, screen worked great... however the iPad had erratic battery indications and we couldn't even get an app to open. Took back and they gave us a loaner (iPad mini that barely functions) while they investigated the issue. Thought wow that is good customer service... 2 months later and I haven't heard anything more from them. I have emailed and called multiple times and have just been getting the run around. Long story short, if you have a cracked screen take it somewhere else to get fixed, they took 200+ dollars from me to fix a screen and now I have NO iPad. I went to iFixandrepair in the Melbourne Square Mall at the recommendation of a coworker and am sorry for it. If I could have left the stars blank I would have but I am required to check at least one. It's a shame because my issue is not the craftsmanship but the business ethic. I arrived at the store in the evening and they advised me they had one person in front of me and that if I wanted it fixed tonight I would have to be willing to come back between 15 to 20 minutes after the mall closed. I had other shopping to do so I agreed, like most people, my phone is an integral part of me conducting my day to day business. When I am unreachable I lose money. In that vein I was more than happy to return at that late hour. The mall closed at 9 pm and I returned to the store to find it locked and dark. They had closed knowing full well we had made the arrangement for me to return and I had already paid my bill in full. Needless to say I was irate that I was going to be without a phone until at least 10 am the next day. Now I needed to waste gas, time, money and work productivity to make my way over to the mall for something that should have been resolved outside of working hours. When I picked up my phone and I expressed my displeasure to the clerk, he didn't even acknowledge that there was an error on their part nor did he even offer an apology. This would have been a non existent post if he had offered an apology of any type but evidently inconveniencing a customer is such an oblivious fashion is of no concern and customer service, at least in this case, is dead. read more

The experience was very frustrating. From the first call to the very last minute, just utterly frustrating. The call wait times are ridiculous and put you on hold forever and a day. The reason I went with these guys is that there is at-least some sort of record of purchasing something from them, as most of the other phone repair places will only accept cash, which to me is very shady and suspect. I require my phone for most of my daily business operations. I went in on a Friday, was told it be there Tuesday, call Tuesday, was told its in, show up, wait for about 15 minutes, then I was told it was never ordered. The owner says he will take care of it and offered expedited shipping. I simply asked if I could get a case instead of expediting shipping and he agreed. So it comes in on thursday, nearly a week after I originally came in and I drop it off. I come back to pick it up and no one offered an apology or remembered to give me the case. i didn't even bother asking because in a situation like this the owner should just remember to tell his employees. The staff is very unprofessional, they dress horribly, they will argue in front of you and use vulgar language. Its pretty ridiculous. With the prices people pay, these guys should look like top of the line, dressed to the nines and very educated speaking people, but they are nothing but sloppy, vulgar inefficient people. To top it off, the mic on my phone on the replacement screen echoes now, so the work wasn't even quality. read more

Just went to ifix last Friday. I dropped my phone outside of work, which of course is completely my fault. My phone screen was completely cracked. However, speaker and camera were still in tact. I wasn't able to use the bottom buttons on my Droid Ultra. I was told to try Best Buy, they only fix computers, and then was referred to ifix. It is right across the street, so why not give them a try. I dropped my phone off and was quoted $130. Staff wasn't great, but I didn't think anything of it. I was told phone would be ready the next day by 5pm. No big deal, as I work at eBay right down the street and get off at 5. Next day I get off and go to the store, phone is done, and buttons are working. I get out of there, and notice on the way home that my front facing camera looks cloudy...as I look closely there is glue on the camera lens, and spilling out the sides of the phone. I'm a little peeved, but brush it off, as I should have checked prior to leaving the store. I go back the next day and wait until someone comes out of the back room. The associate acknowledges the glue issue, with no apology, but says they'll fix the phone. Okay. He says they should be done in 30 mins, and they'll clean it up. I walk around the mall, browse through store's to kill time. I go back to ifix after an hour, and have to wait 10 more min, as there was someone ahead of me. No biggie. Its around 8:00. My phone is brought out and I can't see the glue on the lenses, nor is it coming out of the phone. Alright it's fixed. At home, I'm playing with the phone, and the camera still looks blurry when taking a photo. Hmm. After then, my sister called and couldn't hear me. Now I'm pissed. Yet another trip. Back the next day...person whom fixed my phone(Dominick?) Says he'll put the phone under a UV light, and try to fix it. May take 30 min. I tell him i would like a discount, as I spent way too much time back and fourth. I was as patient as can be. He says if I go anywhere else l would be paying more, also that it's not right to be demanding a discount. Wtf. He also says," no disrespect but you're being petty". Now I'm irate. I am so frustrated with this shitty insufficient somewhat human being that um shaking. I argue with him back and fourth, in front of other customers. He says I can definitely take the phone and be on my "merry way" or he can try to fix it again. As much as I wanted to say, and/or do something I may later regret, I let that pos try to fix my phone again. Still need it fixed either way. I go see a movie and return in a few hours, and behold the phone camera is not fixed, but the speaker is fine. I ask to speak to the manager, as the pos is arguing with me AGAIN. People are watching AGAIN. He doesn't care. I'm not acknowledged when in the store. I wait around additional time, than expected, I'm disrespected. What the fuck kind of business is this? Who the hell runs this place and hires such complete fools. I can get hired minimum wage to utilize my kindergarten gluing skills too, except I would rather do something more challenging. Second associate attempted to be helpful by googling troubleshooting for the camera. The camera was not the problem. They should have just admit that they fucked up! I can use Google and super glue. What is the point of paying 130.00 for a ruined camera, and having your speaker blocked with glue. Needless to say, I'll speak to the manager regarding compensation. This place is a complete joke. I'm 21 years old and have better social skills, manners, and customer service than the pieces of garbage that work there. You'd think that after being at a store 3 times, they would understand why I'm Noe frustrated instead of saying I'm petty for asking for a discount. Does he even know what means? Just had the WORST customer service experience of my life! I left my iPad to be repaired and was told It would be done in one hour. I was then called and told they broke the antennae and it would be 5 days. When I went to pick it up, after traveling on business and being greatly inconvenienced, I asked that they meet me half-way. I was spoken terribly to by 2 young men, cursed at, spoken rudely by the owner and not ever followed up with. An absolute TERRIBLE experience that made me think of call the police. read more

I give it one star because I am not able to give a zero. My phone had been dropped in water and I called 30 minutes after it happened to verify if the store could help. I was told they could check the phone and let me know. I took the phone and was told they would call me by 7pm. I should have known better when I came in earlier to change the contact phone number and I could hear them complaining that they told me to go at 7. After 7pm I did not get a call so I called to check and a very rude man answered. He said they were still checking and that they would call but did not give me any information. The next day my husband called after noon and was told they were still checking but another technician had to look at it. We finally got a message later on the day giving the option for more diagnostics or picking up the phone. We choose to pick up the phone. When I got phone my home my husband opened the phone. The battery had tape on it and there were a lot of scratches. My husband called the store to question why the battery looked old and had tape on it. A man (who claimed to be the owner) told him they had to pry the battery off because it was stuck with crazy glue and they damaged it taking it out. My husband questioned why they did not tell him and the man was very rude and belligerent. And that was the owner of the store! Did they not think before returning a damaged battery to the customer without disclosing it. The funny thing is that the phone was not turned on after it was recovered from the water yet 1.5-2 hours after we gave the phone to this company my son received a text on his watch which is linked to the phone. So...... did they turn on the phone while it was still wet? Do they not know that the phone has to be off until dry. What kind of repair company is this? Do they know what they are doing? I took my iPad mini to the Vero Beach store 2 1/2 months ago, paid over $200 for anticipated repairs, and to this day they have not returned my iPad to me. No one can give me a status on the repair and no one returns my phone calls either. I have called and left messages on the corporate's voicemail; no one has called me back. At this point, I feel like I need to take a police officer to the store and file a claim that iFixandRepair has stolen my iPad. Worst experience ever!! Bought a gift card a few years ago for 82.50$ was told that the gift card never expires, the card actually says that on it. Went in today to repair an iphone that I finally broke to be told "we bought our store out from corporate, we cannot check or accept your gift card." What kind of crap is that?
