I needed a new battery for my phone. My husband took my phone in, and they needed to order the battery, and told him it would be there the next day. I took my phone in the following day and the man behind the counter immediately checked it in, got the new battery and told me it would be done in about an hour. When I returned later that day, he had the phone ready to go and got me on my way. He and the other men on staff, were curious and helpful, and I will return to their store for all of my battery needs. read more

My aging laptop required a new battery, and I received first class service. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very personable and knowledgeable which sold me. She also recommended to open my laptop to make sure they were ordering the right model, which is a good thing she did because my machine had a larger battery. I have been to this location before and never had an issue. Today, I went in for a laptop battery that I was told (by looking on the internet) would cost around $25. Got a quote for $99. When I questioned it, the salesperson said "they all tell you bad numbers - you'll be back in a few days". Not so. Came home - order two on line for $30 - same battery and won't be back. May have been this salesperson because I have not had bad service before but his attitude (even in front of other customers) was disappointing to say the least. read more

I received the best customer service from Justin! I had already had to replace my iPhone screen after cracking it. I ended up dropping it. I knew it worked but the screen was black. I figured that I would stop by to see if it could be fixed but thought I was spending $$$ for a new phone. Justin had it fixed in no time. I bought a charger for my cell phone on-line and picked it up in the store. The Duracell product had specifications that were nearly exact to OEM (unlike Amazon products that were fraudulent knock-offs) and the price was very reasonable. I used a promo coupon for the purchase and it became even cheaper than expected. The guys in the store were friendly, appreciative of my business as well as knowledgeable. Our battery for our home alarm system went out on Sunday and after calling them realized that I wouldn't be able to get to their location until after their closing time. I called and asked if there was any way that they could sell me a new one over the phone and then hide it outside somewhere for me. The manager said he didn't trust that it wouldn't get stolen before I could get there to get it. The manager said that his assistant would hang out until I could get there.... my phone said it would take 18 mins.... I made it in 14. Normally I go to another place for watch batteries that might be a little cheaper, but lately I was having trouble getting there before closing time. I dropped my iPhone and it wouldn't turn on. I took my phone to Batteries + Bulbs. Justin suggested trying a new battery. When he opened the phone he noticed that a bracket that holds the battery in place, was missing. He repositioned the battery and added a piece of tape. PHONE FIXED!! Went in for a garage remote battery. The remote has been through a lot. The inside had corrosion and the remote flattened/ran over. Batteries Plus had the best customer service I have ever had. They opened the remote, checked battery, tested battery, found a new battery not in stock and put it in, tested remote and it worked. Can't say enough how great the customer service was. Great place, I always get my car battery from here. They install it for you, and my only complaint is it once wasn't installed correctly and my car shut down dangerously while I was driving in a parking lot later that day. Other than that, they are amazing. read more

They spot-welded cells in my electric bike battery pack while I waited. Then charged me LESS than I would have guessed their hourly rate was (I'm accustomed to being charged more than what I think a shop's hourly rate should be. Price Range below is my experience, YMMV. I just recently today visit the store to check a scooter battery, when I brought the battery inside the store a gentleman whom I figure was an Indian American guy at the store started to help us out, we told him that the battery was not working properly he preceded to open the battery casing to check and see if they were not good. So he told us that the batteries were dead which was not true then he started to give myself a little attitude all taken out the batteries before prior to bring it in and I told him that the store on 35th Ave. have replaced the batteries for us. So he looked this up on the computer and said there was no information on those batteries which was not true again he said he didn't see any information on the batteries. When I stepped over there he started to click on information but my wife's name connected to the batteries said there is no information all of a sudden her name pops up and he told us that the batteries were replaced in 2016 buddy before he told us that there was no information is this the way battery plus continues to do business with customers who are African-American this is the second occasion where we had an issue. I will not be going back to the store again neither will I go to the 35th Ave. by degrees plus store out order my stuff from online Amazon. read more

Called this store Sunday after my car would not start. I talked to a salesperson named Josh. I told him I was having car trouble and wanted to buy a battery for my car as well as have them install it. He would not sell me a battery or promise that they could do any install on Sunday as there were only 2 people working that day. With service departments closed I stressed that I really needed their help and could not afford to be stranded. Josh refused to help me and insisted that I take it to a dealership for service as my battery was probably under warranty. I stressed because it was a Sunday I did not care about a warranty. I just wanted to buy and have a new battery installed. This salesperson refused to help me. Having owned my own business for many years I thought the owner of this location would like to know that they lost a sale due to the lack of initiative and willingness to help by this staff member. read more

They do have just about any kind or type of battery. My issue is with the website. After looking up the battery you need, then you select the store nearest you and check stock. Then you arrive there to purchase the battery and they tell you they DO NOT HONOR THE INTERNET PRICES. When the internet site directs you to a store they should honor the price. read more

Made an appointment to get my wife's battery replaced on her iPhone. I made the appointment around 9am for an 1130am repair. I get there around 11 and tell them I have an appointment. They say, "Oh, our tech who fixes phones called in sick this morning." I asked when they planned on giving a heads up to the people who made appointments that they weren't going to be fixing phones today and they all just looked at me like I didn't deserve an answer. I'm not upset that someone had to call in sick, things like that happen, but at least have the courtesy to call people and tell them they can't fulfill their appointments. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend anyone coming to this location. If their inability to realize they should cancel people's appointments before wasting their time wasn't enough to show you their incompetence, their attitude about it was even worse. read more

This is a difficult review. I don't know if the problem was caused by the lack of knowledge at the store or at Batteries Plus corporate. Either way, we got scammed. My truck requires two large 12 volt batteries. I use AGM batteries because of the hot climate. The store we regularly used to go to, on West Bell Road, didn't have any, but this store did. We arrived and the batteries were ready to go. This transaction was about $700. With the paperwork, we were told that the batteries came with rebates. They gave us the rebate forms and rebate receipts that clearly showed the battery make and model. We mailed the forms and receipts in with plenty of time to spare. Some weeks later, we got a letter back from a Batteries Plus office far, far away telling us that the battery we bought wasn't eligible for the rebate, and that there was no recourse. Say what? This sort of nonsense is taking place far too often on really expensive things at Batteries Plus. There are competitors in the AGM battery field. Just a note for Corporate. (The batteries, though are pretty good.) read more
