We stopped by Verizon to inquire about international calling and services for our phone. We did not want any surprises while we were gone. Make sure you ask a lot of questions when one of the sales people tell you that you're eligible for an upgrade. Usually, they will lock you in a contract and you still end up paying for the phone anyway, which was not disclosed at the time of the visit. Also, I was told that my bill would only increase five dollars a month when in fact it's going to increase more like $20-$25 a month. I don't feel that they were very upfront with me while transitioning me to a new phone. Don't buy into any of their antics . They're more concerned about getting a commission for getting you a phone than anything else. read more

I was disappointed with my recent visit to this location. As soon as I walked in (the door hadn't even closed behind me), the associate (Ian Welch) immediately asked if I just had a quick question or needed something quick, making me feel like I was being rushed out before I even had a chance to explain my needs. This is the second time I've experienced this at this store (Ian Welch both times), and both times I've felt a lack of basic customer service. There was no greeting, no warm welcome, or any real effort to assist me. I understand that working in retail can be challenging, but a little bit of customer care would go a long way. CHAD AND THIS TCC authorized Verizon dealer is AMAZING!!!!! We have been with Verizon literally ever since we had cell phones!!!!! I believe since 1999 for me. Needless to say we have dealt with A LOT of Verizon reps and CHAD IS HANDS DOWN OUR FAVORITE REP WE HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!! We have lived all of the country and also dealt with reps on line! He takes the cake for all of them! This store is located in Scottsdale and evidently is a TCC store. Not sure what that means but it is now my store of choice bc the store and Chad was the perfect combo for us!!! WOW! First Chad has excellent customer service skills! He is incredibly intelligent and was able to do the math on 5 cell phones like no other! He told us about a special that Verizon had on iPhone 13's that saved us SOOOOO much money. For this, I was so grateful. He obviously loved his job and was so good at it. He spent a great deal of time with my family and made sure that we were totally taken care of before we left!! I am not used to Verizon offering such poor customer service. My daughter ordered new phone to be picked up at this location but no one ever called her when the phone came in. Then, I came in to pick it up for her and literally been here for an hour and they do not know what they're doing. I waited 35 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me in the store. Do not go here ever. Desert Ridge has the best customer service. I have never had these issues! read more

Awful experience. The lady, the manager, is extremely short and doesn't want to work with you. I asked what iPhones they have in stock then she goes "all of them." I start asking about different colors and sizes and they didn't have any that I wanted. The only had like black and white in the smallest size for all the iPhone 12 models. Also I had a phone to trade in which I put into restore mode, aka reset the phone so everything is wiped until you connect it to a computer then you can restore it to your settings. One of most helpful and efficient Verizon stores I've been in! We came in to upgrade one of our phones, and CJ helped us right away. In the past, upgrading feels like the longest process and that they're trying to continually up sell us. But with CJ, he was so fast and even helped us decrease our monthly bill. I recently purchased a new phone and decided to switch to Verizon from AT&T and from iPhone to Android. I purchased a MIFI for my tablet and was told that I would get a rebate. I sent in all the appropriate paperwork as well as the Proof of Purchase from the box as the rep at the store told me to do. I received a postcard a few weeks later rejecting my rebate since I didn't send in the correct Proof of Purchase. Naturally I threw out the box, who wants a box that's all cut up? So, don't believe Verizon when they say they will give you a rebate. They have figured out a way to reject your proof of purchase and deny the rebate. What a scam! read more

I had an icloud issue that I spent 8 hours on the phone with apple to resolve. Thought there was something wrong with the phone but Darien fixed in within 10 minutes. Do not shop this store! Commission sales people that only care about selling you the phone. There is no service after the sale. As a matter of fact, you get "attitude" when you ask for help setting up your phone. All you hear is "I don't know how to do that", and "contact tech support. Ridiculous. Stay clear of this place, incompetent sales people-manager Kerri is worthless. I went in yesterday to buy a Iphone for my wife and upgrade service. The guy told me I could get the Iphone 11 for 700.00 and that I would get a 200 credit on my wife old phone. Spend an hour with the purchase and came back 2 hours later with wife to get phone set up and turn hers in for the credit. Spend about an 1.5 hrs transferring all the data and clearing out her old phone. At the last second guy tells us there is no credit he made a mistake...at this point I have spent over 2 hours at the store, so I told him unacceptable and call manager, she was out of store so called her on her phone. Manger told him refund me didn't even try to make it better. Spend another 1.5 at store to put info back on old phone-store lost all her text messages and several contacts in the transfer back. Manager Kerri came back to store and all she had to say with a dumb look on her face was sorry-Zero empathy a complete turd. Never even got a sorry from the sales guy. To top it all off they wanted to charge me a 50.00 restocking fee...I lost it told them no way in hell that was happening. So wasted over 4 hours at this store yesterday. I do everything I can to support local businesses in my neighborhood but I hope this places closes its doors. read more

Went in to see about my wife's phone, she was up for an upgrade and the screen seemed to be broken. The manager Mike helped us right away. He got us setup with both upgraded phones, trade in value, and the appropriate plan. When he noticed a line of customers accumulating, he called another store and had them send an associate over to help service. Great manager! read more

I bought a new phone and took it to this location to have it activated and the data transferred from my old phone. After a few false starts the salesperson finally figured out how to start the transfer process. While waiting I thought I'd buy a case for my new S7. Couldn't find any in the store and asked if they had any. The answer was no. "Are you going to get any in?" the answer was no because my phone was a year old model. I expected them to say "we don't have any but let me check with another of our locations" or "let me check online to see if we can help you find one for your model phone". When the upload to my new phone was complete, I began asking a few questions about the new features. The salesperson just said it's similar to your old phone. I expected "please let me help you find your way around the new features on your phone". When I was asking another question about the new phone the salesman turned away to help a client that was already being taken care of. It would seem the employees of this store need to take a few sales classes to learn what great customer service is all about. I will not be returning to or referring anyone to this location. read more
