We schedule for him to come out the next day to program my keys. Next day Josh the store owner comes over and tries to program my fobs again. No luck and states that his system needs upgrading and he will be back tomorrow. Josh now clears all functions for 1 fob. Next day I'm waiting for Josh to show up. Waiting, waiting, waiting, No call no text message no show. One day passes no call no show no text message! I GOT SCAMMED and by the owner of this Batteries Plus store! Craig (I believe was his name) was the first gentleman to greet and assist me. I told him my car make and model and that I needed to replace my battery since I hit my 3-year mark on it and he instantly let me know it would cost $105 (which included installation by the way; what a good deal)! Not only that, he and Juan got started on it right away and it only took about 10 minutes to get it replaced! By the end of it, I had to pay with two cards and Craig kindly only charged me a total of $103.90, I had to give them a 5 star review! I used to believe the hype about Interstate Batteries being top of the line. I don't anymore. The last straw was the motorcycle battery I bought 14 months ago that came with only a 6 month warranty. It will no longer hold a charge. When I asked the guy at the counter if $25+ a month for a motorcycle battery was acceptable, he seemed OK with that. Even though I got 14 months out of it, that's still $10-$15 a month which he thought was a bargain. No offer to prorate on a new one for me either. He told me that this would not be acceptable to him if he were on my side of the counter, but that it should be OK for me. I told him that this was an unacceptable amount of risk to me and that I could not buy a replacement battery from him today. Nor could I buy a car battery from him for my two cars that will need new batteries in the near future. He said that the computer wouldn't let him rectify the situation and that there was nothing he could do. He probably did me a favor anyway. I got a new Duracel battery at Batteries Plus with a two year warranty. I took advantage of some Labor Day sales and got it for 35-40% less than what Interstate would charge. I gave Interstate a chance to retain my business and they failed just like the battery they sold me. Spend my money well because that is all you are getting.

I installed and went on with life. All of a sudden it's drained. I get back to the store. The guy tests and says it's not the battery, it's the alternator. So I go to a mechanic with ACTUAL alternator testing capabilities and told NOTHING wrong with it. So $300 for a new battery and install. NOW because Batteries Plus won't refund only replace. Now days later I have to go back a 3rd time, WAITING for them to get another battery, leaving mine there. So now I have to store a backup battery I DON'T NEED. They left me stranded and HAD to buy a new one else where. NO REFUND just replace? Very disappointed. Seriously managed to not swear.
