The sorry no customer service waiter stood on her phone talking to a friend loudly as we waited to order. Then finally comes to our table with the face of so what do you want. Red flags were screaming at this point! So we proceed to order lunch and she explains why we couldn't because lunch time was over. My wife and I explained that no we walked in well within the remaining minutes of lunch, and that there were a few lunch items only offered during lunchtime that we wanted to take advantage of. Remember, if she would've come to greet us right away instead of being on her phone there would not have been an issue. Plus there was literally no one seated outside except for us! No excuse for this type of service. Plus I'm shocked that management didn't accommodate a first timer to your establishment being it was the server's fault. Amazing how these kind of restaurants forget there are soooooo many great options in this city! No one is going to put up with this type of nonsense. Located at the vibrant Roswell road, this restaurant invites diners who want a casual place to eat, talk, and drink. Its entrance is around the corner on the side of its parking lot, and once you enter, you'll be immediately greeted by nice staff members. Quality food. The pork chop and beans is delicious every time. I love when a restaurant puts effort into good beans. The spicy feta dip, beet salad, greek salad, meatballs au poivre, asparagus, rotisserie chicken, burger are all tasty. The lunch pick 2 is a good deal. My one gripe are the shrinking portions. The first two times I ordered the pork chop and beans, it was a good sized pork chop. Advertised as 10 ounces, it was about that size. Large enough where I could request the doneness. A few months later, they switched to two smaller chops. Not a big deal as they were both relatively large, just thin. Close enough to the 10 ounces combined. I assume it helps cut down on cook time during the busy lunch rush. I went this week and the two cuts were no more than 3 ounces each. The taste was still excellent, so giving 4 stars, but they need to update their menu as it still says one, 10 ounce pork chop (two 5 ounces chops listed on the online menu). Service was fast and efficient. Quite casual with tolerable noise level where we could hear each other talk. Menu was not overly complicated but had enough variety to satisfy most diners. Our group had trout, salmon, burgers, rotisserie chicken, and lamb gyros among other things. The lamb gyros were a hit and served with one side (e.g.; chips). The overnight brined rotisserie chicken was good though it did not include a side which I thought was unusual, but even the white meat was edible. Although good, Costco and Sam's rotisserie chicken is far superior in taste and moistness. Burgers were 1/2 pound, cooked to order, and were good. The fish dishes (trout and salmon) were okay but probably won't order again. Pricing on the menu was quite reasonable though many items did not include a side and side choices were quite limited for those thaf did. Overall, a relaxed casual atmosphere with decent food served on tables layered with thick, sticky, disgusting substance, the biggest criticism. My wife had to put stain remover on her blouse as soon as we got home as the elbows were heavily stained black from the disgusting tables despite our wiping them down at least 3 times with sanitizer wipes to no avail. Worth a visit but be careful of the grimy tables. read more

Vibe is so awesome and charming, the place is well-decorated and cool. We were a lot of people and we came in staggered numbers. They had a little trouble so the food took a while for some people. The waiter honestly sounded pretty annoyed/somewhat condescending but I think that may have just been her demeanor to be honest... All I had were Brussels sprouts because I wasn't very hungry, but they were very good. Really can't go wrong with Brussels sprouts! They're very oily so dab them with a napkin if you need to. I stopped by for lunch on Tuesday and had a great experience. The service was outstanding from start to finish. I ordered the pick two lunch special with the quarter chicken and the soup of the day, which was tomato basil. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and cooked just right, and the soup was absolutely amazing. It was rich, creamy, and exactly what you want on a chilly Atlanta day. The ambiance is laid back yet versatile. You can come in casual or dressed up and feel right at home. I also appreciated the open kitchen, which lets you see how your food is prepared. That is always a plus for me. Everyone was welcoming and attentive, and although I wish I could remember my server's name, he was fantastic and very knowledgeable. I've been dying to go here to try a couple of recommendations. One being the cilantro chicken and the other being the lamb gyro. The inside of the place is pretty cool. It has a lot of decorative black and white prints of interesting characters. This place is huge they even have a double patio area that has twinkle lights for the evening. I ordered the small beat starter and the lamb gyro with their homemade chips. To tell you the truth I really wasn't impressed with the gyro. I'm used to sliced gyro. This is the second time in Atlanta where I've had little diced balls of lamb. I'm not a fan because the meat constantly rolls out of the pita. I asked for extra tzatziki dressing which came in a small ramekin the price was $1 extra. The whole thing was pretty flavorless. The mini beet starter was just the right portion for one person but the actual beats were gigantic. And the spoon was almost double the size of a tablespoon that I had to use. The chop pistachios could have been any nut. It really gave no interesting extra texture at all except adding the color green. But the highlight had to be the whipped goat cheese. It was really really yummy. I was truly envious of a young lady that sat down after me she ordered the beef burger. I snuck a couple of pictures before and after she cut it in half. NOW that's what I'm talking about! She said she gets it every time she comes. I wish I had ordered that because I'm always looking for a really good burger for when my son comes to visit. Finally decided to try this place for lunch last week since we had extra time running errands. All of us decided to give the Lunch Pick 2 a go since we could try a little bit of everything. We liked everything ordered (sausage and beans, beet salad, mac & cheese, 1/2 chicken sandwich), and the only one that didn't seem to be quite as good as the others was the beef burger. Ultimately, while tasting pretty good the burger buns were too big for the single patty (likely because the burger is usually 2 beef patties and the lunch pick 2 size burger is only 1 patty). Don't feel I would choose the burger again but the others would bring me back. Service was quick, but I didn't expect anything different since we were the first ones there when they opened. read more

When I walked in it took a while for someone to acknowledge me standing at the hostess station as the sign said to wait to be seated. I watched several employees working but walking past back and forth. The hostess came and I opted for a bar seat instead of a seat inside or on patio. The hostess said someone would be there to help me shortly. I browsed the menu and the hostess came back and asked if wanted water so I took the opportunity to ask a few questions regarding menu items since it was my first time there. I settled on grilled octopus for now. A couple walked in and an employee acknowledged them immediately. A few more employees walked past me several times. The employee that acknowledged the couple said something to me someone would be right with me. My octopus came it was delicious and reasonably price considering other restaurants comparatively speaking. I give it 9/10. The Bartender came up near me several times and never spoke, never asked if I was ok, did I need anything. He focused on other patrons in his area. Finally I asked the young lady who brought my octopus who was my server. She pointed to the guy who had been near me and never checked in me. I continued to watch the service and what seemed to be a manager this lady came up and greeted the bartender and never acknowledged or spoke to me. This told me a lot. The energy of an establishment usually stems from top down. The standards and bar has to be set. I ordered a burger and their homemade chips along with a mimosa. The bartender checked in with me a little more. I listened to reels and ate my food and left. I'm used to chatting with the bartender if I'm sitting at the bar. Im accustomed to mangers actually greeting customers when they are in the vicinity. It nothing else to see how things are going. All in all I would go back with low expectation of friendliness and service. The food would be the only reason for me to give it another chance. read more

They have indoor and outdoors seating. They have music playing in the background so it's not a quiet spot, but it's not allowed in abrasive type of music. Everything seems pretty made to order so the food came hot and fresh. It's a really large shot so they're plenty of seats even if you can't see that from the street. They have free parking and it's plenty. And you can park in the lot next door as well if you want. They have a bar that is a decent size bar. It's got a full bar like you would expect package 20 people, but it's a nice size bar. The lush special is actually pretty cool. You get two things to choose from the lunch menu for above $13. If you are very famished, this may not be the thing you pick, but if you want a lighter lunch, this is a good selection. Asparagus - Pretty decent The meatball trio - Good taste, kind of wanted more lol Burger - It was a good burger, it was smaller than I thought, but at the same time, it was good tasting so I was not mad at it. I will say however service leaves much to be desired, we were seated and it took 15 minutes for someone to attend us at our table during lunch time. Great service, good food & doable prices. I love the Bohemian atmosphere & patio flow. The menu offers a small, dedicated plant-based section that is creative & pretty tasty. We ordered the Impossible Gyro, Quinoa Stuffed Avocado, Baked Feta & Spinach Dip & the Lamb & Lime Marinated Chicken Skewers. Everything was in good portions & tasted great. It wasn't crowded when we went, so I'm not sure if later in the evening this could be an issue or not. You don't have to worry about parking even though the lot is small. IT'S FREE!!! LOL.. Our server, forgive me. I forgot his name with the British accent was very attentive and engaging. Kudos to you, sir! We ordered rather quickly, and the food came out in no time. I dined at Kid Cashew with my team for lunch. We ordered an appetizer trio with hummus, spicy feta, and tzatziki + Brussels sprouts. The dips were delicious had mine with carrots/celery) but the Brussels took forever and didn't come out until after our main course was served. I had a Greek salad. It was fresh and just enough to satisfy me. Around the table, I saw several lamp skews and even some Mac n cheese. No complaints from anyone. Service was terrific. I can't recall the servers name, but she was fun and spunky. She was responsive and gave us great suggestions. My only complaint (albeit minor) - it was freeeeezing in the dining room. Parking- I was a little confused if it was on the left or the right of the restaurant. If you are coming from 285 the restaurant is on your left hand side and the parking lot is in front of the building is their lot. Hopefully that makes sense and is helpful information. I was immediately greeted when I walked in. There were only a few patrons so I basically had the option to sit wherever I wanted. My wait staff greeted me quickly and took my drink order. We had a brief conversation about the menu. I opted for the wood fire grilled octopus ( lemon vinaigrette & oregano leaves served on a bed of quinoa) to start. I ordered the Wood-Fire Portobello Gyro ( hummus, garden greens, tomato, basil, chipotle sauce on a toasted pita ) for my entree. The food came out quickly. If I had to pick my favorite of the two items I ordered I would say I enjoyed the octopus the most. However, I can't say that either item was so memorable that I would have to have it again. This restaurant is kind of hidden so be sure to slow down or you may miss it but let me tell you, once you make a right or left into the parking lot you are in for a treat! Every time I dine here, I am greeted promptly and the servers are always accommodating and very knowledgeable of the menu. Another thing I love about the customer service is when you ask your server what is tasty on the menu, they always make great recommendations but to be honest everything on the menu is absolutely delicious so you really can't go wrong. My friend and I went last Sunday for a Sunday Funday and dined on the patio. I know, Georgia has had a hot summer but we wanted some fresh air. Kid Cashew has specials Monday through Sunday and on Sunday they have brunch, $4 Mimosas & $7 Bloody Marys. We of course came for the Mimosas! We ended up getting a pitcher that cost $35 but it was well worth it. When it comes to the menu. Kid Cashew has a lot of items to choose from. They have shareable plates you can share with your guest or you can add them on as a side for Wood Fire Grill items. My friend and I decided to order the All-Natural Half Rotisserie Chicken, Lamb Skewers, Cast Iron Mac & 5 Cheeses and the Brussels sprouts and man let me tell you it was all delicious. The All-Natural Half Rotisserie Chicken is brined for 48 hrs and is super tender and juicy. It comes with a cilantro yogurt & tzatziki. It is placed on the wood fire grill and when I tell you the smell of the seasoning on this chicken is so savory it will make you come crawling back for more. The Lamb was very delicious, tender and flavorful as wellOOh . The Cast Iron Mac & 5 Cheeses is a mic drop. The mornay sauce tossed over the noodles with the 5 cheeses is a show stopper. This Mac & Cheese is the only Mac & Cheese I would ever order and bring as a side item to someones party because it's that good and I promise it would be the star of the whole evening. It would have everyone asking who made this?! Oh, Kid Cashew did. Who? Kid Cashew in Sandy Springs. Run don't walk. lol The Brussel Sprouts also are one of my favorites because they are tossed with almonds and are caramelized with lemon vinaigrette. We've been here a couple of times now, as well as ordered super convenient delivery. The restaurant is small and kitschy, with an inside-a-small-Austin-trailer sort of feel. Walls are adorned with lots of cool photos and things. Seating is spread out enough to not be too cramped. The working kitchen in your face is awesome to watch. The menu is full of fresh, healthy sounding options. Most specifically, anything "wood fired" is excellent. The rotisserie chicken is hot, charred, moist and delicious. The polenta paired with it is buttery, creamy, salty and delicious. The lamb is well marinated, flavorful and cooked perfectly medium, and the sandwich version of this on pita wasn't half bad (the portion is a little small and a little full of more frou frou lettuce than lamb, with an awesome tzatziki). The seasonal sides and small plates are also excellent - specifically the beets with some whipped something and mandarin oranges for a little acid, the meatballs that remind of a gourmet IKEA trip, and any of the dips with breads. My only gripes are the portion sizes are a little small for the price, some of the menu items were a miss (the Caesar salad had a pretty dry piece of salmon on it, the heart of palm was bitter and raw, and it was pretty plain all around - the burger while it sounded awesome was a little too dry and a little too busy). But overall, an excellent option for some Greek inspired New American style faire in the area. read more
