Taco Mac at the Prado is a great place for a group, with a wide variety of bar food and drinks. They have an amazing beer selection with many dozens of drafts in addition to canned and bottled beer. Wine is also available though the selection is limited as expected at a sports bar. Our bartender was prompt and helpful. I decided to go to Taco Mac Sunday Fun Day cocktails while kicking off football season. It was not overly crowded but got busier as the afternoon progressed. The energy was great. Every staff never I encountered seemed like they enjoyed working there. The manager Shane even stopped by to converse making the experience personal. My waitress was outstanding. If you want to just relax and fun and enjoy a casual atmosphere take some time to visit Taco Mac in Sandy Springs. My next visit I will order food. read more

This location (and Perimeter) definitely went downhill a year or so ago, but the last few times we've visited the food and service have been very good - major improvement! I stopped into Taco Mac recently and tried their NEW Ultimate Pick 3 Sampler, which is now available for 14.99. It's easily one of the better sampler deals in the area, especially with how many options you can mix and match. Guests can build their trio from wings, mozzarella sticks, spinach dip, fried mushrooms, egg rolls, buffalo chicken dip, philly egg rolls, and jalapeno bacon cheddar egg rolls. Everything arrived hot and well seasoned, and the portion sizes were solid for the price. My server was really nice as well and very knowledgeable of the menu. A big highlight is their Monday special -- wings for only 1 each starting December 8 (dine in only). It's a nice bonus for anyone looking for an affordable weeknight outing or a game day stop. We ordered the All the Way Nachos and 10 count Parmesan Garlic Boneless Wings. YUM. Not only were the wings plump and juicy, but the sauce was spot on. Our server was the best; she came to check-in on us so many times. As for the restaurant itself, I was impressed with the size and cleanliness. This place was always my go to with my friends. Recently, me and my wife received some poor service from a waitress here. We're fair people, but when you have to wait half an hour for your food, and don't even receive your appetizer, you come out a little cranky. The server seemed like she did not care and went about her work us as such. Took 10 minutes alone between when she dropped off the receipt and when she picked up my card. To mention, it was not packed, and it was probably around 50% capacity. I'll be coming back here, but I'll definitely be making sure we're not sat in her section. I have literally been to this location twice unfortunately. As I sit here now, it's been over 30 minutes that I'm waiting for an order of 6 roasted wings and a wedge salad. I am only here with a party of two. Would highly not recommend this restaurant in general, but especially the Dunwoody location. Service was great! The vibe is sports bar as they have many hanging TV's. Drink prices are more reasonable here than other places I have been. They seem to have an all day happy hour menu which I thought was amazing. We sat at the bar and ordered The all the way nachos - these were really good but it's more of a large queso dip with stuff added to it than actual nachos. My only advice would be to take off the shredded cheese as it clumps up and you are unable to dip a chip in the actual queso dip. The chili and beef are a bit overpowering, next time I might just try the queso alone as it has really good flavor without all the extras. The chips that came with it.. half were a little stale and the tortillas were a bit stiff as well. I tried a bite of the boneless wings on my significant others plate and they were oddly chewy and had a weird consistency. He said it was only one that tasted like that, the rest were fine. read more

The food at Taco Mac is good, well the food we were actually able to order. We were here on a Saturday when there were lots of college football games going on, including UGA. The place was busy and apparently the manager did not staff accordingly. Service started good but then we didn't see our waitress for about an hour because she was pulled off to another area of the restaurant. Other than a couple of appetizers and one round of drinks, we never ordered anything else because our waitress was pulled from our area. All in all, this place missed out on sales because of staffing so I wouldn't recommend going here while sporting events are going on. read more

This Taco Mac is leaps and bounds better than the one closest to my house. I've been a huge fan of Taco Mac since I moved to Atlanta in 1991. They still have some of the best wings when they get it right. Over the years, with growth, several Taco Macs have come and gone. And some have gone due to their own poor execution at an individual location. This Taco Mac is just inside 285 on Roswell Rd. At The Prado (as the name would indicate). Parking is fine and it's easy to find. I went here two weeks ago with my family for trivia night. It's about 3 minutes further than my neighborhood Taco Mac, but it was worth it. The ambiance is...Taco Mac. American wing bar food. We have a great server for a table of six. Food was delivered quickly, and it was hot and fresh. And again...they still have some of the best wings around...not too wet and not too dry. During our two hour stay for trivia, drinks were kept refreshed and the table was cleared when needed. Going forward when I am craving some of my favorite Atlanta wings, this will be one of my go to stops. read more

It's cool but not giving. Had a nail appointment. Went in after for a self pity drink. Asked for the lavender lemon mixed drink. They don't have lavender liquor. Waitress didn't seem to be feeling my detailed request but lightened up after. The bar smelled sour the crowd is always lack luster .
