We made reservations and checked in. The young girl who helped us was very nice. She was friendly with a cool vibe. I forgot her name, but she just started working there like her second day. I would have to give a compliment to her because she did a great job! Even honored a refund because fathers throw for free this weekend since it's Father's Day! It wasn't posted online but there was an advertisement for it on the tv when we walked in. Then we went to Lane #8 where another employee greeted us, told us about the rules and served us drinks. He was very nice and attentive as well. Overall the place was nice and clean. There was jumbo jenga, and big uno cards. I saw some arcade games and claw machines. The bathrooms were nice and taken care of, there's a button on the wall, if you press it lights and music comes on like a party. Very cool. Our wood board was pretty damaged and seemed beaten. My axe didn't stick and it's the worse I've ever played. My man whooped me all four rounds for 75 minutes. But we still had a great time!

Round1 has so many fun options all in one place. There's bowling, a huge arcade with both classic and modern games, racing games, basketball hoops, rhythm and dance games, and interactive skill games. They also have karaoke rooms, ping pong, and billiards/pool tables. It's really nice because there is something for everyone and every energy level...whether you want something active, competitive, or just casual and fun. We enjoy pool, basketball hoops, racing, several other sit down games like the Top Gun game. We have yet to order snacks as we usually get there too late, but will next time. We love Karoke so we may do a little Karoke The staff has always been kind, and the customer service is consistently good. We also really appreciate the security at the front it, it makes the environment feel safe and welcoming. We haven't tried bowling at this specific location yet, but we have at another Round1 and look forward to doing it here as well. One of our favorite things is just walking around and trying different games together...it honestly feels like stepping into a playful, fun space where you can forget stress for a while. My husband is incredibly supportive and often carries me so I don't have to use my wheelchair inside, which makes it easier for us to enjoy the experience together. Even though I'm 38 and he's 42, it truly feels like being kids again, laughing, playing games, and just enjoying each other's company. We're really grateful to have found a place like this where we can still make joyful memories together despite health challenges.

Being a long time customer, I would like to give the management at The Emporium a chance to respond…read moreto the false advertising that happened recently at their venue in San Francisco on 6/13/26. I tried to avoid writing this review by contacting the venue directly but have yet to see a response, so here we are. They had multiple pages on their website saying they are showing all the World Cup games for free, including the game I attended on June 13th. None of the pages I saw mentioned a cover charge for this game. (See the attached screenshots). Also, they had posted similar ads on their social media accounts saying that they are showing the games for free. So after waiting 20 minutes in line for the Brazil vs. Morocco game with no prior warning I was informed there's a $25 dollar entry fee at the door. The game had already started due to the extremely slow door management even though I showed up ten minutes early to get in on time. I just payed the cover because I didn't want to miss any more of the best match for the group stage, and didn't know where else I could go nearby. Once inside the promoter showed the game on a low definition satellite stream that was choppy throughout, and kept cutting out completely, missing parts of the game. On top of all that the promoter was charging $20 for feijoada, which basically is rice, beans, and some meat on top. This seemed draconian considering the ridiculously high price of entry for a game viewing that other venues all over the city showed for free. I would like to know how this obvious disconnect between your advertising and what the promoter actually charged/offered will be addressed to your loyal customers?
