I have been attending S&S Crossfit since April of 2013 and am so happy with my choice. I am never judged for my look or my crossfit abilities but am pushed to keep trying and give it 100%. The coaches are very friendly, knowledgeable and will always keep you safe. Absolutely love this gym!. Staff is very friendly. They have some good trainers on hand and a lot of friends now among other members. For me one of the highlights is seeing somebody that you know is struggling to get in shape and they continue to show up. I always try to seek those people out and make friends with them and encourage them because I was that person at one time I was over 36% plus body fat. I was gassing out just walking upstairs. I was very obese... I put in the work I put in the effort I put in the time the macros, the diet, etc. I lost the weight and a large portion of this transformation was done physically 100% at this gym. The trainers were fine & I even enjoyed them, but the contracts for the training are misleading & it took me longer than I like to admit to realize they were sucking so much money out of my account & then mentioning that I had so many classes to attend. In some areas of the contract, it lists an overall cost & that you will pay in 12 installments (so it seemed clear), but in another area in finer print it mentions biweekly withdrawals...which led what I thought would be $130 training cost per month to increase to $390 some months. This was not inclusive of the additional monthly fee of $40 I was charged. When I wanted to cancel, they said I had to wait 30 days which will charge my card another $260 & rack up another 16 classes that I have to use up in 90 days (or I will lose what I paid for). Clearly, I didn't need to buy more classes since I had purchased so many unwittingly. So, now I just feel icky supporting a place with such a deceptive & dishonest system. The sad thing is that I would have stayed here indefinitely if I felt they were decent in their business practices. But, now I'll have to go to another gym.

I was a little apprehensive about boot camp workouts before coming here but I can see how effective they are as you keep moving during these workouts and get some cardio conditioning too. Good form is encouraged and the instructor goes from station to station to motivate and to help with modifications. Plus you get a killer playlist to listen to and people of all fitness levels to workout with. Looking forward to incorporate Heat into my exercise routine.
