    Garlic naan. Delicious

This our first experience in an Indian restaurant. We didn't know what the spice levels were, it would be nice if they would put a couple of flaming fire emojis to let us know the heat level. I ordered the Chicken Biryanis mild and my wife ordered the Chicken Tandori, we ordered the lowest spicy available but received the opposite and put it out us it tears. The only saving grace is as the garlic Naan. Not spicy at all rather tasty. Though we were the 2nd couple in the restaurant the food came about out 30 minutes later. Beautiful presentation (to spicy for us). After eating there we check the the restaurant reviews in Yelp and we were not impressed. We may go back there after learning more about Indian food. The waitress was surprised when we asked questions on the menu on the level of spices, and she suggested what we ordered. We found out later that the chicken Marsala would have been a better choice. Next time. Remember fire emojis to reflect the heat intensity.

Well, this is a south Indian restaurant, which specifically focuses on south Indian cuisine although it's a chain every restaurant has its own taste. Initially, this place was really good, but slowly we have started to see the food being spoiled within an hour of bringing it home. When you go to the restaurant, I need food. They have a great ambience and good service but when you're planning to get food home that's where things go. Really really bad. Literally no customer service.

Example of amount of cooking oil in one dish.

Food was SUPER OILY with whole spices still in it, made eating very uncomfortable. There was a small piece of gravel in my wife's dinner. Samosa was average. Ambience was ok, service almost nonexistent. Will not return. Hard to believe this is a chain or how it is still in business.

Absolutely delicious food! As today is Diwali, I wanted to get some Indian food, but understandably most places were closed. Bawarchi was one of the only places open, and as I'd heard lots of good things, I decided to order to go. Let's start with the Gobi Manchurian - delicious, flavorful, and the perfect appetizer. The Gobi (cauliflower) was crispy and yet soft, and the medium was the perfect level of spice without overwhelming chili. The Vegetable Hakka Noodles were a little salty, but otherwise pretty good! The Gulab Jamun - my absolute favorite Indian dessert - was perfect. The jamun were just the right amount of soft without falling apart, and the syrup just the right amount of sweet. I was a bit disappointed because I had also ordered a mango lassi that never came. I'm not sure if this was an error on UberEat's part, but I also didn't receive any utensils even though my receipt clearly said to include them. Overall, I'm really glad I got to try this place and would love to come by in person one day!

Over the weekend we were in the mood for Indian food so ordered DoorDash from India Palace. We'd…read morenever had this spot before as we typically order from Rucci, but I wanted to give a new place a try and honestly I'm glad we did as this one was a hit! We ordered chicken tikki masala, garlic naan, lamb samosas, and tandoori chicken. The first thing I want to note is that our total was around $50 including delivery and tip, which for two entrees, an appetizer, and a side I think is pretty decent these days. The naan was an exceptional deal - I think coming in at under $4 an order. Since it was so cheap I wasn't sure how much to expect so I got a few and it was more than enough - you probably only need one to share if you are on the fence. Now let's get to the food: the samosas were great. I've been on the hunt for some carry out samosas nearby and these fit the bill. They also came with some fun sauces so I'll for sure be ordering them again. The chicken tikki masala was actually spicy at a medium heat which was a fun surprise. Unlike our local thai spots that tend to go really hot with medium most Indian places we go to give us a super mild (even at medium spice) tikki masala so I enjoyed having some real flavor and heat! The naan was great, but tasted like all garlic naan (which is not a bad thing), the tandoori chicken was good but I thought a bit dry, hence the 4/5 stars. Overall, I liked this place a lot and I think we'll be ordering from them again!

But I got a wide selection of dishes, so that makes it worth it to me. I really liked the tandoori chicken and tikka masala. I'd probably rate this a 4, but what makes it an additional star for me is the warm chai! I absolutely loved the big warm self serve carafe of chai latte. It was delicious! Oh, and a combination of the mango puree and rice pudding was the perfect ending to my tour of Indian food. I'll be back!

We ordered the non-veg dinner for 2 for $55 and it was a steal! We had soup, samosas, with chicken dishes, cauliflower dish, rice, naan, and a dessert. It was more than enough food for me, my husband, and my son. We even had leftovers. Everything we had was delicious and made fresh! The owner (I believe) came and checked on us and told us to check out the lunch buffet whenever we stop by again, which we definitely will! This restaurant is halal is well for those that are interested. This place was a hit and we can't wait to come back!

This is…read morea sister restaurant of Taj Mahal restaurant in Waldo, which also serves tasty high quality food. This is a North Indian style buffet showcasing flavors primarily from the state of Punjab, India or overall Northern India. I went in on a snowy day when all the other Indian buffets were closed, but only Spice of Bombay was serving finger-licking food. As soon as I entered, I was warmly greeted by the server and taken to my table. She instantly asked what type of naan I would like plain or garlic and I had to choose garlic Naan with lots of butter! After that, I did not waste any time and went straight to the buffet, which had a wide variety of food on display. Starting from the left were the non-veg curries: butter chicken, chicken curry, mutton curry, tangy tandoori chicken which I wasn't a big fan of, etc., followed by the veg sabjee and curry section. I was blown away by the variety of vegetarian food they had to offer, and I think that was the best part of the buffet - saag, mushroom mutter, dal makhani, zucchini sabjee, paneer butter masala, baingan bharta, navratan korma etc.. just YUMmmmm... Then came the appetizer section, which had veggie pakora which was a little dense, along with fries and bhatura - rarely available at Indian buffet and goes well with the Channa Sabjee was clearly missing in the buffet. Lastly, there were salads, condiments, and sweets - gulab jamuns, mango pudding, and rice kheer. The clear winners for me from each section were the butter chicken - creamy and very tasty. Chicken was cooked perfectly, even though it was made with white meat. The saag and the korma - rich , a little tangy loaded with veggies and creamy from the vegetarian section, and the mango pudding from the sweets section - heavenly and transported me to the Indian mango fields. The buffet is priced at around $21, which is not too high for the food selection, but I really hope they include some hot or cold drinks along with the buffet, just like other Indian restaurants. Chai or some buttermilk would be a nice addition to settle down the stomach after having heavy food. When I asked the owner to check if chai was included, he sweetly gave me a cup of chai on the house. There are lovely flower arrangements throughout the restaurant which had a fresh energy and the restaurant is clean otherwise. To conclude.. food - 4/5, service - 5/5, and ambiance - 5/5. If you love hot Indian food even on a snowy day or on a weather aware day lol, this is your place to be.
