Food: this is our go to Indian restaurant! We love the chicken biryani, shrimp chettinad, garlic naan, and chicken tikka masala. The flavors are right on! Medium spice is perfect for us. Service: friendly. Could be more attentive and refill waters as it was not a busy Tuesday night. Ambiance: Indian music playing and clean restaurant. The bathroom smelled pretty awful

When I'm in the mood for Indian food, Spice N Rice is my go to spot. I used to get it delivered quite a bit in the winter. A nice chicken Curry with their fluffy Naan, basmati rice and a Mango Lassi is my usual order. Although, so many other items look fantastic as well. I keep telling myself that I'll something different next time. I've been getting it as take out more recently because the restaurant is conveniently located where I can do my other shopping nearby and pick up my order when I'm finished. I highly recommend Spice N Rice as one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the OP area.

So delicious!! They kept the chai tea flowing the entire meal, plus a to-go cup, which helped with the few spicy dishes we got (like the spicy cauliflower appetizer!) I wanted to try the classic Chicken Biryani, which was truly delicious, but the boiled egg topping was definitely overdone and I was surprised to learn that the rice was colored with food coloring... who knew?? I figured it was done with spices. Naan = AMAZING!!! Sautéed fish - so good and super paleo/Keto friendly. I'd LOVE to try some more dishes and come back another time. The staff were very helpful in answering our questions (specifically, the folks that spoke enough English that is). And everyone was super friendly!

It was ok. Nice if you are looking for Indian food, but if you know good Indian food and looking for flavor it is not there. The location is nice, restaurant is spacious and clean and the staff is attentive. I ordered pretty basic with the chicken Marsala. I ordered the least spicy and it honestly tasted like tomato sauce with sour cream mixed in it. No flavor at all, very bland. My friend ordered something that was supposed to be very spicy and I tried his and it did have a kick, but lacked flavor. Even the garlic naan bread that I ordered was lacking flavor. Not sure if I'll be back. Theres many other Indian restaurants around town with better flavored food, but im glad I got to try.

I am so happy I stumbled into this place. I was right next door to Whole Foods (who had very little options for lunch) so I walked down the shopping center and there was this Indian place - I thought I might as well try it. Everything is extremely clean (came during COVID times). The staff was quiet, but so nice and attentive. They showed me the menu for lunch specials and offered to make it gluten free (this is important for any of you with food allergies!). I was impressed with that alone. The food was amazing. The special was butter chicken and curry chicken, two of my favorite Indian dishes. Both were exceptional. The rice pudding for dessert is my favorite, because I'm simple and I love dessert :). I highly recommend coming here, especially on a lunch break because they get you in and out quickly without being pushy at all. I love that.

    Chicken briyanni (bone in)

In supporting local, I ordered on the phone to grab dinner. I ordered Tikka masala and chicken briyanni. They give you the option if you want bone in or not which is nice. My order went through and I picked it up approx 25 min. Everything was a smooth transaction and they take COVID seriously as I saw them taking precautions and making sure customers were also following precautions. When I got home, they didn't get my naan order, but also didn't charge me for it and they accidentally gave me bone in vs no bone (which is what I asked for). I'll toss it up to maybe miscommunication? Either way, my food came out fresh and hot. It tasted great and fairly priced. I will definitely be ordering or coming again to eat.

We'd…read morenever had this spot before as we typically order from Rucci, but I wanted to give a new place a try and honestly I'm glad we did as this one was a hit! We ordered chicken tikki masala, garlic naan, lamb samosas, and tandoori chicken. The first thing I want to note is that our total was around $50 including delivery and tip, which for two entrees, an appetizer, and a side I think is pretty decent these days. The naan was an exceptional deal - I think coming in at under $4 an order. Since it was so cheap I wasn't sure how much to expect so I got a few and it was more than enough - you probably only need one to share if you are on the fence. Now let's get to the food: the samosas were great. I've been on the hunt for some carry out samosas nearby and these fit the bill. They also came with some fun sauces so I'll for sure be ordering them again. The chicken tikki masala was actually spicy at a medium heat which was a fun surprise. Unlike our local thai spots that tend to go really hot with medium most Indian places we go to give us a super mild (even at medium spice) tikki masala so I enjoyed having some real flavor and heat! The naan was great, but tasted like all garlic naan (which is not a bad thing), the tandoori chicken was good but I thought a bit dry, hence the 4/5 stars. Overall, I liked this place a lot and I think we'll be ordering from them again!

But I got a wide selection of dishes, so that makes it worth it to me. I really liked the tandoori chicken and tikka masala. I'd probably rate this a 4, but what makes it an additional star for me is the warm chai! I absolutely loved the big warm self serve carafe of chai latte. It was delicious! Oh, and a combination of the mango puree and rice pudding was the perfect ending to my tour of Indian food. I'll be back!

We ordered the non-veg dinner for 2 for $55 and it was a steal! We had soup, samosas, with chicken dishes, cauliflower dish, rice, naan, and a dessert. It was more than enough food for me, my husband, and my son. We even had leftovers. Everything we had was delicious and made fresh! The owner (I believe) came and checked on us and told us to check out the lunch buffet whenever we stop by again, which we definitely will! This is…read morea sister restaurant of Taj Mahal restaurant in Waldo, which also serves tasty high quality food. This is a North Indian style buffet showcasing flavors primarily from the state of Punjab, India or overall Northern India. I went in on a snowy day when all the other Indian buffets were closed, but only Spice of Bombay was serving finger-licking food. As soon as I entered, I was warmly greeted by the server and taken to my table. She instantly asked what type of naan I would like plain or garlic and I had to choose garlic Naan with lots of butter! After that, I did not waste any time and went straight to the buffet, which had a wide variety of food on display. Starting from the left were the non-veg curries: butter chicken, chicken curry, mutton curry, tangy tandoori chicken which I wasn't a big fan of, etc., followed by the veg sabjee and curry section. I was blown away by the variety of vegetarian food they had to offer, and I think that was the best part of the buffet - saag, mushroom mutter, dal makhani, zucchini sabjee, paneer butter masala, baingan bharta, navratan korma etc.. just YUMmmmm... Then came the appetizer section, which had veggie pakora which was a little dense, along with fries and bhatura - rarely available at Indian buffet and goes well with the Channa Sabjee was clearly missing in the buffet. Lastly, there were salads, condiments, and sweets - gulab jamuns, mango pudding, and rice kheer. The clear winners for me from each section were the butter chicken - creamy and very tasty. Chicken was cooked perfectly, even though it was made with white meat. The saag and the korma - rich , a little tangy loaded with veggies and creamy from the vegetarian section, and the mango pudding from the sweets section - heavenly and transported me to the Indian mango fields. The buffet is priced at around $21, which is not too high for the food selection, but I really hope they include some hot or cold drinks along with the buffet, just like other Indian restaurants. Chai or some buttermilk would be a nice addition to settle down the stomach after having heavy food. When I asked the owner to check if chai was included, he sweetly gave me a cup of chai on the house. There are lovely flower arrangements throughout the restaurant which had a fresh energy and the restaurant is clean otherwise. To conclude.. food - 4/5, service - 5/5, and ambiance - 5/5. If you love hot Indian food even on a snowy day or on a weather aware day lol, this is your place to be.

Menu: Staffs are incredibly kind here & you can take all your time in ordering your food because the menu offers a lot of good combo options. They have chaat, appetizers, entree & combo options (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian) My personal favorite is 2 entree combo which comes with jeera rice & bread. Bread can be a plain roti or paratha or naan or garlic/butter naan. You can also request Stuffed parathas for an up charge. What we ordered: - Vada Pav - 2 entree combo plate (Moong dal & Butter paneer) - Mango Lassi Both Moong dal & Butter paneer was served hot - perfect for a cozy/cold night. Spice & masala level was just perfect and I personally don't prefer too much overdose of color or masala in my butter paneer which messes up my gut. Vada pav was great too with a good amount of green sauce/paste (spicy & tangy) Just the perfect way to end the dinner with freshly made mango lassi. :)) Hopefully, will get back again to check out non-vegetarian entree options.
