I claim to be fairly handy around the house and can usually handle most jobs after a few YT videos. The wheels on our sliding door had rusted making it nearly impossible to use. I called Jeff and we set an appointment for a couple of days later. This particular job turned out to be one of the most challenging jobs out there. As he and his son worked, Jeff explained all the details so that I would understand and know how to best prevent the problems from recurring. During the process, Jeff even had to fabricate a couple of parts out of aluminum in order to overcome some challenges! I believe this very difficult job took probably twice as long as normal ones. We now have stainless and ceramic wheels supporting the heavy door on the track - a big improvement over what was there. The door now glides smoothly. Jeff and his son cleaned the tracks, vacuumed away the dirt, adjusted everything and checked for square. Jeff could have walked away from the job. I'm so grateful he was able to work though it. So, I didn't even actually end up using their services, but I still had a great experience. Here's what happened... Last night my patio door broke, and being the generally handy person I am, I thought I'd take a stab at pulling things apart to see what's up. I managed to figure out what was wrong, and what part I needed to replace, but given that it was midnight I was out of luck until the morning. Today, I gave them a ring, and the gentleman that picked up asked me a few questions and was able to confirm that I was probably on the right path. I asked if he could sell me the part, and he said that he couldn't (which is fine, he's got a business to run), but that if I could find it online (which I did) to go that route. As he said, "Some people can do it themselves, and we're here for the people that can't". I appreciate any business that will provide help, even if it means they won't make any money off me.
