It dented up the top of my cab and hood on my '09 F250. I brought it to Steve because he had been by next door neighbor and I'd had him do work in the past which was excellent. He contracted out the hail damage to an outfit that specialized in hail damage. The hood came out good, but whatever they did with the cab roof, it lost all of its structural support. This was evident the first time I drove through a car wash. I thought the roof was going to cave in, and it left creases. I also had Steve replace my tailgate. When I tow my boat, I keep my tailgate down. Shortly after leaving my driveway, with boat in tow, I heard a bang. Once I stopped and looked it over, I noticed that when he replaced the tailgate, that he also replaced the support cables. The original cables had spring lock tabs to prevent the cables from coming off. When he put the new cables on, the spring lock tabs weren't replaced/reinstalled, so when I went over a small bump, both cables came off, and the tailgate hit my trailer ball and left a big dent. I brought it back, but he wouldn't make good on it, even though it was his fault. We all make mistakes. He should have owned up to it and fixed it, but he didn't. Pretty dissapointing service, especially for a former neighbor and repeat customer.

Dropped off at his shop in Greenland, NH and had it back a few hours later and it looked AMAZING. This is a silver Honda HRV - not a high-end vehicle - but it's a lease so we know it has to go back to the dealer not looking like a tree branch fell on it. Appreciate the turn-around, the quality of the work and the fact that the $$ came in within his quote range. Across the board would recommend them.

Beware of their $200 ransom to get your car back after their not so accurate assessment of your…read moreissue. We had almost $6K of work done and a week later were back with additional issues. They corrected these for no charge, since they were related to the initial issue, but noted that if our check engine light came on again, it could be our catalytic converter. As expected, another week went by and the light was on again, along with a flash of another warning light possibly related to the ABS braking system. They took the truck (2011 Silverado 2500 P/U) in and announced it was likely the catalytic converter and they could fix it for another $4K. We decided to go elsewhere, but they said we owed $199.95 for their assessment. Even though they mentioned the catalytic converter on the prior visit, they insisted we pay the ransom to get the vehicle back. By the way, make sure you have cash or a debit card, because they charge a 3% fee for credit cards. We went to two other repair shops and neither would say we needed a catalytic converter and one said that it was likely that our ABS pump was starting to go and may need replacement in the future. Both shops spent time going over the vehicle and one of them took it for a test drive and also replaced some bolts that Portsmouth Chevrolet had neglected to replace. Neither shop would except any money for their assessment. That's customer service and how you gain repeat business. We will be buying a new truck within the next 6-12 months and will definitely stay away from Portsmouth Chevrolet and the Key Auto Group. Also, the truck is currently running fine.

We dealt with Calvin, mostly, although the whole team is great. After the experience with Zelda, we also returned to get my stupid accident on my 2022 Prius taken care of (I literally left the hatch back up and tried to back out of the garage). Not a huge deal, but a total pain; and the Champion team took such great care, got the car fixed, record time, no issues, insurance happy and I'm happy.
