The finished product (repairing smashed tail light and dented/scratched metal) looks somehow better than it did when I first got the car, and only took 5 days, which is exactly what Jason had estimated prior to receiving the car for repair. To avoid an accident I was forced to back up and damaged the plastic, painted hitch cover of my Tahoe which I owned less than a year. It was a small thing but I try to keep my vehicles looking like new especially when they are pretty new. Even through it was a small job Jason took it very seriously and reassured me of the paint matching to factory color and the flex additive used for plastic bumpers. I had worked for a big body shop in Western Mass previously doing mostly detail work and had an awesome conversation with Jason about paint, block sanding, classic car restorations, and new cars that come from the factory with flaws that we both notice. We even discussed some touch ups to my vehicle in the future. Jason's quotes and turnaround times were exceptional. Mirror Image Automotive is an exceptional small business. Superb repair was done to two fairly-new cars that were each struck by other drivers. Both were returned to me in as good as new condition. The repairs to one were in mid-2017, to the other in mid-2020 The earlier incident involved severe suspension damage out of state, which was presumably repaired at the time of the collision. Once we were back home and Jason and his team inspected the car, they determined that the out-of-state shop had failed to repair the suspension up to the expected standard; this included the use of incorrect repair components. Jason notified our insurer of this; they approved redoing the botched repair work; and this time the repairs were done correctly. Not at all a small matter, given that the safety of that vehicle was in question. Jason and his team are conscientious, detail oriented, and fastidious. His communication with me every step of the way, on both occasions, was always timely, proactive, and professional. His company gets my highest recommendation. read more

Car + ice + tree = new hood I needed a new hood, and bar thingy that holds something - I am not a car person. I took my poor baby over to see Jason one day and got a quote, etc. My car got in the shop in the next few days. Not only does it look like new, but Jason also went around and touched up some spots with the extra paint he had mixed up to do the front end. Even in the sunshine, the paint matches perfectly - unlike the rear bumper which was done elsewhere and is noticeably a different color! I would definitely recommend (and have!) Mirror Image. They are very friendly and while it turned out that a new hood was the best option for me, they did look around at available junk yard, aftermarket parts, etc. read more

Mirror Image automotive is one of the BEST autobody businesses I have dealt with and I have worked with many! I am VERY particular about my Audi RS and they treated the car with kid gloves and paid attention to every detail. Even if something was missed, Jason stepped up and took responsibility for addressing it correctly. I think there are many automotive business that could learn something about customer service and professionalism from Jason and the guys at Mirror Image. My Audi had a few areas that need body work and they went through each step with thorough detail. They provided very good rates for work and did everything they said they would complete. Jason kept me informed every step of the way which is key for a customer who is a car nut (and nuts about his car). Jason went through extra hoops to get the paint to match my car - he even had a representative from the company who provides his paint to ensure the color matching was perfect! I will definitely use them again (even though they are almost an hour drive for me). If you have a high end ride and are finicky about how it should look - use Mirror Image. I needed to get my sailboat's windlass (definitely not a car part) painted as the boat was sold and I had to make delivery within a couple of days. I didn't have time to get it powder coated, but the powder coat guys in the same industrial complex as Mirror Image recommended Jason. What a find. He not only stripped and painted the windlass, He repaired and assembled it - and gave me a bottle of touch-up paint just in case I nicked it during installation back on the deck. His price was more than fair. The work was very high quality. Jason has such a pleasant, low-key, but attentive, concerned demeanor that the whole experience was a pleasure for me. Worked with insurance companies to make sure repairs are correct and will guarantee his work. If you want your car repaired properly this is the shop to go to. His prices are reasonable and fair and in fact we're less then insurance firm pre selected shop. Repairs make car look new and car is detailed before you get it back. I love this place and its people. A while back, the handle broke off the back driver's side door of my 12 year old Toyota Camry. My first thought was, "Great, this is the tiniest issue, but I bet it's going to cost me hundreds of dollars for a replacement and for the subsequent labor." I even held off for a while, inconveniencing myself with a more challenging means of opening that door. Finally, I started to ask around about costs. My fears were confirmed. Even my very trustworthy mechanic was looking at hundreds of dollars for a replacement. But I Googled a bit more and found the highly positive reviews for Mirror Image. I'm so glad I did. When I drove over, I was greeted by a very friendly woman at the front desk as well as a friendly man (who appears to run the company?). I can't emphasize enough how *friendly* they were, a quality that is stunningly overlooked by so many businesses, particularly hands-on companies where a "bro" mentality is often frustratingly present. They found a replacement part at a very reasonable price and set up a convenient time for me to bring in my car. The gentleman pointed out that there could be some color contrast, but I honestly didn't notice a thing. The handle looked great, it worked great, the cost was low, and what should be a solvable minor problem stayed a solvable minor problem. While I hope I don't need to use Mirror Image again in the near future, it gives me great comfort knowing they are there. These guys are the BEST!! My wife was in a rear-end collision that made our car un-driveable, so Jason and his staff went to bat for us with the offending party's insurance company and got us full compensation for complete and total repair and rental car coverage (which was absolutely imperative). We were new to town, so we had no idea where to bring our car. From the very first call to Mirror Image, I knew I had made the right decision! The insurance company parts contractor tried to squeak by and sent Jason no less than THREE OEM rear trunks that were not quite up to his standards. Finally, he accepted the Fourth one because it was the only way to make our car look like the accident had never happened!! That's just AWESOME! He will only do repairs on your car that are up to his standards... ie. making your car look like it's brand new!! Most places would have settled for much less, but these guys are PERFECTIONISTS! AND... when we picked up our car, it did in fact look like it was brand new...just like the accident never happened...THAT'S WHY THEY CALL THIS BUSINESS 'MIRROR IMAGE'!! Not to mention the fact that they had done a complete wash and vacuum of the car which made it look, smell and feel brand new... unbelievable! Jason and the team at Mirror Image Auto are the best I've found since moving to the Seacoast 5 years ago. They communicate well, which is rare for an auto repair shop, and they take customer service & satisfaction very seriously. The only downside is that they no longer work on mechanical repairs as of late 2015 or so. Only autobody. My 3 month old (to me) Audi A4 was in a serious rear-end accident and the insurance adjuster took 10 minutes to assess it and wanted to total it. I found Jason through East Coast European and from our first telephone conversation, I knew he was an honest business owner. Mirror Image Automotive should be the business model for the correct way to run a business. Every aspect of the business is focused entirely on customer service and satisfaction. My 2011 BMW Z4 35is was hit in the rear softly, but left some scrapes on the bumper and trunk llid. When looking for an auto body shop, other than the "recommended" one's from my insurance company, I notice all the positive and 5 star reviews. I decided to just stop by and check out the shop. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by Carolyn (sp), the receptionist, I could tell that the reviews were correct about customer service. All of the shop personnel were polite and professional. Jason, the owner, interrupted his work to come out and do a quick look at what would probably be needed and promised an estimate by the next day. The estimate appeared fair and I contacted my insurance company to have their appraisal done. It was almost the same, but left off several items which Jason had noticed (replacing emblems and some other minor items). I scheduled the repair and was given a 3-5 day time frame. I had also noticed that since the accident, the right side of the trunk lid would not always latch. The restoration/painting job was actually done in 4 days. Jason's crew (only a couple of very skilled guys, not the usual 10-15 in the "preferred" shops) was able to find that a small plastic piece had broken off and would need replacement. Jason worked with both BMW and the insurance company to get the parts in and amend the repair estimate without me being involved at all. Once all, the parts came in, I scheduled to have the repair done and again, Jason and his crew exceeded expectations by completing the job in 1/2 the time. I am a bit of a stickler and both the restoration of the bumper/trunk lid and the repair were done flawlessly and I can't tell where any work was done. This place is fabulous! I took my Sentra there for some minor work after someone hit my bumper in a parking lot and took off. I have never met such a nice group of people in a body shop! I was treated like family. They did it all from having my rental car there, warming up when I arrived to drop my car off - to taking care of the return as well. I didn't have to deal with any of that. They did a fantastic job on my car! My bumper looks brand new, like it did on the showroom floor. They also buffed out a few areas and never charged me a penny extra! These guys go above and beyond. When I picked my car up it was spotless inside and out. I was so surprised to see they cleaned the whole interior! I wish I could remember the girl's name at reception. She's a real sweetheart and even remembered to say Happy Birthday to me. This can mean so much to a person who is stressed out over having their car hit by a person who never stopped. Jason is very friendly and knowledgeable and took however much time I needed to explain everything to me in a way I could understand. I hope I never have to do any repairs in the future but, if something happens, I know where I'm going!
