    Veggie Rolls

This is the kind of place you walk by and wonder if it's worth giving a shot and I can confidently say it absolutely is. The service was excellent, even though I ordered online, and the food came out fresh and hot. The veggie rolls were a bit mild in flavor, but I still enjoyed how crispy they were. The veggie noodles were great and packed with plenty of cut vegetables. Prices are very reasonable for the area. Highly recommend stopping by for drinks by the water if you get the chance, definitely worth going inside.

Absolutely love this local gem. The family that runs it is incredibly kind and genuinely welcoming--you can feel the care they put into both the food and the experience the moment you walk in. They have such great energy and really make you feel at home. The food delivers all the bold, polished flavors of a high-end hibachi meal, but with an added layer of warmth and comfort that keeps you coming back. It's the perfect balance of elevated quality and neighborhood charm.

I now work at Mare Island and this was the first closest thing we found. It's about 3 miles from my work so it's a good spot and it's right in the water. This is a Japanese restaurant that serves a few Filipino food items. Of course that's what me and my co-workers ordered. We got the Tapsilog, Tosilog, and Bangalore. These are famous staple Filipino breakfast: it always includes garlic fried rice, meat protein and eggs. I was surprised and happy at the same time that they served Filipino food here. The serving is pretty big and it tasted delicious. The lady that served us was very nice. The ambiance is beautiful obviously m. It's overlooking the water and boats passing by. The price is not too bad. I spent less than $15 for my meal. Note: Great parking lot.

If I could give this a 3.5 I would, but 1/2s aren't possible so I rounded up. I've been wanting to visit this place since I walked by it a few months ago. Location is top. I mean.... Hibachi with a waterfront view?! The view gets 5, the ambiance gets 4.5 (super cute). The menu is super limited, but pricing is decent and the food is good.

This is a wonderful place if you ever just want to hang out and watch the sunset. Everyone that works here is like family and if you've been here once they will always say hi to you when you come in. When it comes to the food it is amazing. I like any type of seafood and I love the garlic butter here. To top it off with a full bar or a nice glass of wine. They also have happy hour from 3:00 to 6:00 Monday through Friday,so don't miss it. Happy hour is drinks and food. Whether you like to sit inside or outside it doesn't matter I guess it just depends on the weather. Don't forget, karaoke is on Thursday nights at 5:30 to 8:30. Always lots of fun.

Yumm once again had a great dinner over looking the water. My portion size was more than usual and I appreciate it (: service was great... we were in a rush to the opera and the waitress was very understanding.

A hidden gem on Vallejo's waterfront. Great, attentive service from the moment we walked in until we left. Nice waterfront view and delicious food. While the place is small, there is plenty of outdoor seating available. The chicken potstickers and salmon hibachi plates were very flavorful. The lemon drops were good as well. I would definitely come back to try other options.

Food was under portion and good customer service was not met. Came for a birthday lunch and we all felt very uncomfortable. Never again

Very poor customer service felt like we're being rushed to place our order , took long to get here 45mins and food was very under portion .

Sad bento box. New york steak (6 oz)

First/last time at this place. Looked promising from the outside. Ordered food and drinks at the bar. Outdoor seating on the dock is pleasant-ish. When the boats and ferry go by the thing really gets moving. Ordered a chicken (grilled?) hibachi bento box w plain rice. And an order of fish and chips a beer and a Mai tai. Drinks fine. After 15 min or so outside the server comes to say they're out of fish and chips. Substituted a "steak" bento box as it's the same price $20 vs $19.99. I'm going to assume that this place is still in business for the bar and the view of the lovely San Pablo bay. $60 for two meager bentos and a beer and cocktail. Nah. Judging by the bentos I'm going assume the fish and chips are either the best thing (sold out) or about as appetizing as the sad bento.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem, had a few drinks and enjoyed a gorgeous sunset on the water overseeing the beautiful San Pablo Bay!

We were in the area and found this hidden gem. It's a little restaurant on the water. As soon as we walked in we were acknowledged. The tables sit right on the glass and you're seeing the water. There is a back section you walk on a little bridge and there's an outdoor seating area. The waiter took our order. The prices were okay. We got our food fast. It was extremely relaxing eating on the water. The food was good it was okay. The view has been by best by far. Overall good experience.

What better than a cocktail on a gorgeous day on the water?

An awesome family owned place on the Napa river in downtown Vallejo, next to the ferry to SF. It's small, but they are putting out great food and have exceptional full bar choices, given the small size. If the weather is good, go out on the floating barge to have your food and drinks. Great customer service, Romeo and others always greet you with a big smile. Enjoy!

Fried rice: definitely not fried, NO SEASONING, dry shrimp, and unseasoned steak.
    Ray T.

Updating this Review: If you haven't read the original review. I ordered a steak plate and was very unhappy with the food. The steak and the shrimp both lacked seasoning and cooking technique. FLAVORLESS AND NOT SEARED. The fried rice is not only the cheapest quality of rice it's also not seasoned and was not fried well. Mind you authentic Japanese restaurants will use high quality rice like calrose or sushi rice in general. Places like Benihana charge a decent price because they are using good quality ingredients and the chefs are trained to execute these dishes. To call this plate Hibachi is a stretch. Moving on to customer service. Customer service is trash. This is the kind of place that will treat certain customers one way and certain ones another. I complained on my dish and Romeo the owner apologized for the dish and said he would remake it. Out of all that I waited on top of being there over an hour for food mind you I had my kid with me and he was very hungry. Romeo forgot that I was waiting for my order and then told me I'm not getting it remade and he acted very offended and different from when I initially made the complaint. I know he forgot. Final thoughts This place is a joke. Took 6 days to reply to one of their worst reviews. When they finally reply they try and gaslight me and saying it was a miscommunication? Saying that Romeo said he wasn't going to remake it because what I said obviously isn't true? Tell me this what restaurant tells this to a customer not happy with their food? What real respectable restaurant doesn't remake food that that their customer did not like the plate? It took a while to write this response as I was really annoyed about this but let me make this very clear. it's because there was NO MISCOMMUNICATION. How dare you try and lie a narrative of miscommunication. I spoke very clearly to Romeo and understood him very well in him remaking the plate. It's plain and simple, you guys messed on the food and instead of owning up you try and gaslight me. Just remember what restaurant does not remake the food after the customer complained and clearly communicated that they want the food since I've been waiting there with my young kid. It's one thing to have trash food but to lie on your customer here on yelp?? Pathetic. You guys can lie all day but facts are facts. No restaurant I've ever stepped foot in has said, "you don't like the food? Well we won't remake it for you" Also one more thing about your response to "ThAtS wHy We SeRvE oUr FoOd wItH SaUcE cAuSe We Do LiGhT SeAsOnIng" Everyone knows.. real good food. I mean reeeaal good food does not need sauce. I don't need the sauce in Benihana or the other spots. Another way of deflecting my very harsh but real critique of your food. Your food without sauce is like eating boiled shrimp boiled steak and cheap quality fried rice. Anyone can throw a sugary sauce on anything! I would rather fish a tire out that waterfront and eat that, than to be subject to that type of food and customer service. Like I said I'm doing you guys a favor by pointing these things out. By the way I write reviews does it look like I miscommunicate???

First, we placed an order 20 minutes ago and it had a 24 min ready time. When we arrived to pick up, the woman server with dyed hair and Adidas pants said, "oh we just got it I few minutes ago, it'll be 20 minutes more". Yet half of our order was sitting on the counter already. We decided oh since it's a long wait maybe we can just eat in. So we walked back inside 3 minutes later and asked if we could just dine in instead, but the second lady server, wearing black-rimmed glasses and black long hair in a pony tail just smiled "no, sorry we can't." I thought it was weird as I looked around it was over 60% empty. Is it that inconvenient to let your customers sit in? The third woman server was nice and preparing orders for pick up and gave a better estimate of when the items would be ready though. Customer service is what would deter me from coming back.

We walked in, and it took sometime for someone to even acknowledge us. A staff member said, "Hi..." and nothing else. We stood awkwardly for 5 minutes before that same person asked how many for the table as she grabbed menus. We sat for a few minutes and we received water and browsed the menu before putting them to the side after we decided what we wanted. Time passed (enough for the remaining tables to begin leaving) and a waitress had taken the order for another table. The person who sat us seemed to be serving the two tables beside us, but continued to ignore us. Back turned to where we couldn't get their attention, or actively avoiding eye contact. No communication, no acknowledgement--just nothing. After around 15 minutes of nothing (just sitting and waiting as they tended to everyone else around us)--we decided to leave. The service here used to be "eh", but now it just seems terrible. In the future (if I ever choose to return) it'll be when I'm desperate to eat sushi and have nothing planned for the day/ evening so I can wait for someone show an ounce of hospitality. There was enough staff and weren't busy, so--what happened? It wouldn't have been as bad if someone at least said, "I'll be with you in just a moment", but instead we were waiting in limbo for a "what would you like to order?" That never came.
