The newly renovated space looks fantastic and really elevates the dining experience. As always, the sushi is incredibly fresh. This is definitely a spot that focuses on high-quality ingredients over large portions--every bite is worth it. Service is always top notch.

My family and I have been coming here for a while now, and it's honestly become one of our go-to spots. We mostly order to-go, and their bento boxes are always neat, organized, and really well put together. It's a small, cozy place, but that just adds to the charm. The people here are super friendly and always make you feel welcome. The food is consistently great. They are fresh, tasty, and the portions are just right. It's a laid-back spot for a good meal, and we'll definitely keep coming back.

This is my go to spot whenever we go shopping at the Fairfield area malls - Hobby Lobby, TJs, Sportmans, etc... This cozy sushi spot always has a table waiting for a party of two and these days I'm especially enamored by the Salmon Kama, which is a char-grilled salmon cheek. They have hamachi Kama as well, but I like the salmon better and it's 1/2 the price! It takes about 20 minute to make so I've called ahead to get them going with it so the wait is not so long once we arrive. It comes out hot, perfectly cooked and seasoned with a dipping sauce. My last visit I also tried the special sea crab nigiri with avocado and tobiko - very fresh and good! So do please check the "specials" white board for a gem like that one!

Met a friend for lunch who was in the mood for Japanese cuisine. The restaurant is in a plaza/strip mall type parking lot. It's quite small so if you blink you'll miss it. I was greeted by Anita who was also our server. I went with the Bento box and the portions were quite generous (yay for leftovers lol). Anita checked on us periodically to make sure we were good. I appreciated the ordering system (Anita bought a tablet to our table). We placed our order, saw the total, and when it was time to wrap up our dining experience we were allowed to split the check right the tablet. A good time a Hana Japanese. Thank you, Anita!

My go to spot when in Fairfield. It can get busy during lunch but worth the wait. Kid friendly. So many different sushi options.

I love Hana!! Their sushi is so so good ! I thought I had already wrote a review about them years ago, I'm a bit of a regular here. Better late than never! Last night I got their Salmon Lovers roll and spicy scallop nigiri. 10/10, the roll was delicious, not too much sauce. I personally love that because I want to appreciate the quality of the fish when eating my sushi. The sear on the salmon was fantastic and every bite was perfect! I'm also a sucker for scallops and they put a generous amount on the nigiri; the scallops were fresh, buttery, and slightly sweet. Their miso is a winner too! I usually skip miso soup when offered because most tend to be salty. Their miso however is the right amount of umami taste, they also add the right amount of tofu and seaweed, simply delicious! My boyfriend got their bento and unfortunately the chicken was dry; however the sauce that they added really helped! The spicy garlic chicken was great as well, he usually gets that always as a choice but no complaints. Additionally, I've tried other items and I've never been disappointed. I've dined in and the atmosphere and decor they've incorporated really makes it feel like you're in a restaurant within Japan. Their service is also top notch, whether I dine in or carry out I am always greeted with a smile and thanked. 100% recommend this place for everything they do ^_^

Poki Salad, so yum yum! I order this every time ! Must try!!!!

Ordered couple sushi roll on the way back from Bay Area, the food is still amazing ! Fantastic sushi roll, delicious, fresh and has a great texture! The chefs and servers are very friendly! The store looks a little different than before, atmosphere is relax and easy! We'll definitely back for dinning next time!

They've certainly changed a couple of things here since the last time I visited. I enjoy how they have virtual ordering now to speed up the process. They've changed their cups and bowls and I love the new look! Their ramen is somehow more delicious. If you visit, I recommend you sit at the bar area so you enjoy seeing the sushi men prepare delicious sushi! I love how cozy this restaurant is. It's the perfect spot to visit when you're craving a delicious bowl of ramen with a sushi roll on the side!

My family (a party of 7) decided to go out for dinner and this was the place we picked. We did reservations and were instantly directed to a table when we came in. Our server was very sweet and patient and was quick to get our waters, drinks and dinner orders. Our waters were constantly refilled and the space was busy but not overly packed. The vibe was chill and our chef Alfredo was really efficient and kind. The food was delicious (as always).

I was craving sushi, found a spot based on other yelper's reviews. When I called to order my rolls, the lady was very gracious and kind and helpful to assure. I was ordering the rolls that I wanted. Not only was the service good but so was the rolls. Next time my son would like to order the udon noodles so I'm going to be sure to do that. We didn't stay. We ordered to go but the ambience scene inviting.

I been loving this place for 3 years. The sushi is always fresh I only try sushi but they have a good other options to try. I love that the place is small so you can have privacy with your family and also see the chef doing an amazing job. Here my favorites sushi rolls. I have been here a few times and it is always a nice time. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. My go to order is the spicy miso ramen soup with no meat. I order the extra noodles when I'm in a silly mood (which is most of the time) and more so for the delicious taste of them. They are also accommodating if you do not want a particular item in your soup. You can choose to have items removed or if you prefer to have them on the side. The overall size of the restaurant is small however, it definitely feels cozy at least for me. Usually we have a seat at a table however it was full so we were sat at the bar area. If you would want to bring a party of like 5+ then it might be best to call ahead. Overall, this place has very tasty ramen and they have a variety of sushi rolls. You can also see the sushi rolls being prepared by the bar so that was a plus! Check this place out if you're in town!

California roll. They told us cucumber isn't part of a California roll. Doesn't look like avocado is either.

Not sure what happened. Haven't been here for a couple of years. Last time it was good. This time got a bento box and California roll. They said California roll doesn't come with cucumber. Told them it didn't look like they put any avocado in either. They offered to give some avocado on the side, but that shows that it wasn't made properly in the first place.

The food, oh man let me tell you, my two grown boys treated me to dinner, I had two ordes of the ahi poke salad sounds like alot but when you taste it you will shake your head yes, and nobody is asking you questions. Just in your head celebrating with a yessss! The seaweed salad is out of this world, it definitely satisfied my poke cravings. As a family we had Dragon, Dynamite, Sumo, Dancing Spider and Fantasy rolls. Sounds like alot but man it's sooo good, we all know how to use chopsticks but about halfway through my Asian wife gives up and asks for a fork, lol (I got scolded for adding that) I asked my boys 3 times which was their favorite, they said they loved them all. I asked if you could only have one which would it be, they said the Dragon roll, The spicy edema had great flavor. The service, the service was friendly and ready to fill your glass as needed. Not big on conversation but I assume the language barrier had something to do with that. In all its a great place bring the famBam and enjoy, Price is 10- 15 bucks a roll. Worth every dollar Enjoy

The setup was pretty interesting with tables on the side and a conveyor belt with the center where the chefs are working and seating lined around that. The staff were kind and helpful in explaining how it all worked being that it was all you can eat. First, there is a menu where you can place orders with the staff for things like appetizers and drinks. We got some sodas and ordered items such as edamame, miso soup and grilled salmon teriyaki. Then in the center where the conveyor belt is, you can walk around to it and pick up plates that you want to try. It mostly seemed like nigiri and rolls that they were commonly making. In the center, the chef station is between the conveyor belt area and there you can order more specific items you want to try like a roll, sashimi or handrolls. We chose to order some different sashimi like salmon and yellowtail and handrolls like the spider and alaska. They also make a bunch of extra dishes that you can take off the shelf as well. For the price and the experience, we thought it was very enjoyable from the multitude of options to the freshness of the items.

We did the AYCE and I definitely got my money's worth. The service was courteous and prompt. The ambiance was typical for a K-BBQ spot- the open floor plan makes for a slightly louder place, but at least the music was not blasting so loudly that conversation was hindered. The menu has meat and other dishes that can be ordered a la carte, if all you can eat is not your thing. (Or if you don't want to have to grill your own meat.) We ordered: -Pork belly (regular, thin sliced, and soy garlic. All great, but the thin sliced has always been my favorite). -Marinated beef (tasty). -LA ribs (well marinated and not too salty). -Bulgogi and the Hawaiian bulgogi (the Hawaiian was good and I like the pineapple chunks to grill,, but preferred the regular because it was less sweet). -Shrimp (head and shell on, be prepared to peel and de-vein after grilling). -Marinated baby octopus (one of my son's favorite things he had there). Some highlights that will bring me back: -Sliced pickled radish to wrap the meat for a low carb option. -Glutinous rice paper to wrap the meat (nice and chewy texture, great touch to the marinated meat). -ALL of the banchan was spot on. Zingy kimchi, firm broccoli, not too sweet fishcakes, and seasoned bean sprouts were among our faves. -Last but not least, the crispy chicken wings. Crispy like Korean fried chicken should be with delicious sauces (we tried the sweet and spicy, and the soy garlic). Worth it to come back just for that. We will definitely be going back soon!

The fried rice is really flavorful and there's a lot of it. In those three compartment take out containers it fills the largest compartment. The scallops were cooked well and seasoned well. I appreciate that you have your choice of doneness for the steak. Next time I would add some miso soup or salad as sides. The entrees were good but without something fresh or soup to balance it out it started to edge on the verge of a little too salty for my taste.
