This company still has been great. We had them come seal up the house a few years back and we were rat free. Fast forward to today, and our friendly rat is somehow back. I called and they sent someone out in the next few days to take care of the problem. Ricky showed up on time, was professional, walked me through everything he did, and made sure to go th extra mile. Wonderful - and a relief. Visitor brought bedbugs from their travels... I was in disbelief and then panic. They sent Brian, an efficient and kind technician, for a free evaluation the next day. And got me in as quickly as I could get ready, for the treatment. 10 days later, still perfect. Helpful hint - I managed (because I could feel something crawling/biting) to catch one in clear packing tape in the middle of the night in the dark. This made identification easy. (The only easy part - besides calling and trusting them.). It's not cheap. But you do get what you pay for in this case. It was well worth it to me to pay (what turns out to be very reasonable - I checked), because I only want to have to do this once. And I needed the assurance that I'm not taking them to my moms, my friends, etc. when I visit them; and that I can have friends here. And remember - it's a lot of work for you to heat-treat your own soft goods (think mattress pad, sheets, etc)... read the instructions. Very diligent in hunting down the critters that are ruining my lawn!

I had many sleepless nights worrying what could be in the crawl space above my room. I heard scurrying, squeaking and scratching. (My mother thought it was paranormal and wanted to burn some sage...) I scheduled an appt with Bay Pest Solution. Will, the technician is very professional and knowledgeable. He found old and new rat feces in one crawl space so he set up traps and sealed the vents in the roof, he also put traps in another crawl space. He will come back in two weeks to check on the traps. I have been a customer for a long time and the recent service has disappointed. I paid for a three year termite protection and needed people to come and treat the house. They promised to schedule me the service and never did. I had a hard time having an appointment booked. They are not fulfilling their service because I have already paid them. TLDR: Ask for Cody, he's the best. I've been using Bay Pest for two places I've lived now. In my last apartment, the building was super old and there were all kinds of pests coming in from different sources - I was dealing with mice, roaches, fleas, etc. I also have a pet rabbit so I was worried about pest control chemicals harming her delicate system. I called Bay Pest and the front desk can be a little scattered, but I got through and Cody came out to inspect my apartment. He was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, answered all my questions and explained how everything would work, and alleviated my concerns about the rabbit's health with the pest control chemicals. My building had sent out a pest control person who was absolutely useless in comparison to Cody. I've now moved to another apartment that spiders love, and Cody once again came out to save the day. He's super fast, friendly, and thorough. I only ask for Cody any time I need service. 15/10. read more

I am writing an updated review after 2 years. They did an exclusion work for me earlier. I heard some rodent activity in the attic - and I should have just called Bay Pest immediately. I wasted time calling other folks and trying newer companies. As usual, they have a receptionist who always picks up the call cheerfully and does their best to accommodate your schedule. Josh came in and did a thorough inspection to see what had changed and pointed out all key areas which needed to be readdressed. Today Rick came in and set traps. I am extremely happy with the level of service - it hasn't changed one bit. Both visits - they kept it to the window promised and they also called ahead to let me know their ETA. If you'd like your pest problem to be incorrectly diagnosed (thus incurring even more damage to your home), flaked on multiple times for appointments, incorrectly scheduled, and to deal with across the board incompetence, by all means, hire Bay Pest. If you can't even correctly diagnose what kind of termites are active on a structure, I'm not sure what hope you have as a company. Stay away. read more

They do not return calls as promised and I had to have someone come out multiple times to re-spray because whatever they use seemed to actually bring out MORE bugs, especially around my front door which made coming home at night to newer, bigger bugs and spiders I'd never seen the likes of before very disturbing and frustrating. Expensive, lazy, and incompetent. Hired Bay Pest Solution to inspect and remove dead rodents prior to a homeowners inspection. Sure enough afterwards the homeowners inspector found a dead dedicated carcass which was clearly very old. This was annoying because we had successfully resolved the rodent issue but it showed up on the inspection report. Also asked Bay Pest to remove traps prior to inspection. They failed to remove some traps. Hired them to initially seal off the house from rats. They failed initially to find all entrances and it took several return visits to resolve. I could go on about responsiveness, billing, etc but I think you get the picture. read more

I used Bay Pest Solution for rodent exclusion. The whole experience was so frustrating that I don't recommend them at all. 1. It seems Bay Pest Solution outsourced the service to another company because the specialist who came works for a different entity. So he doesn't have all the information about the service and I cannot consult him on anything beyond the specific thing he was told to do by the company. 2. Because of this third part issue, booking time for the service was consistently a nightmare. There is a lot of miscommunication about when the specialist will come. And he almost always came at the different time from what I was told. 3. Whatever thing the specialist did during the first time didn't work. Rats broke in and he had to come again to patch. I'm not even sure whether it works now. 4. The service is supposed to include sanitization, which till now hasn't happened at all, and no one really cared to call me to follow up on this 5.
